What a great episode. The Mexican standoff scene with Susie and the scene with the dye melting away. Larry still has it.

Jumped the shark. Writing is terrible. Characters are predictable. The humor is missing. The Georgia location has no impact. Poking fun at republicans is what CNN MSNBC does all day long and it’s backfiring on the Marxist left as the country is collapsing due to this horrid dumb demented administration. David shows his bias the show started to go downhill when he inserted perverted content in previous seasons regarding teenage children. The show should’ve been curbed last season. Liberals are a turnoff to the viewer now that they have decimated the country with their Marxist policies.
@TimTheMusicMan I don't see why susie gets mad about the second gift. And a lawyer that looks like uncle Joe... The plot in this season is underwhelming to say the least... but I am still glad to see more of LD.

Being an Australian, I had never heard of lawn jockeys before this episode and had to look up what they were on Wikipedia. America never fails to surprise me.

I used to live in the south (and the west coast and east coast) and never spotted one. This makes it seem like they’re everywhere. I have seen similar things, though, like mammy caricatures, but inside a (white) collector’s house (in Texas). Most Americans would be shocked seeing a black lawn jockey in front of someone’s house in 2024, I would think

Take notice that Jeff has a change of shirts and continuity missed it somehow. (I've worked in film and tv business here in Toronto and love to find things like this with continuity.) Standing on the lawn he had a short sleeve t shirt on and then in the vehicle he has a long sleeve shirt on. Just saying....

Ive watched a lot of curb and especially in this new season so far seems quite formulaic: larry does something sneakily, people praise him, larry gets caught, people get angry at him.
I agree, could be the reason this is the final season.
The more it goes on the more it becomes a parody.

Show is so lazy this season, it’s not even filmed in GA (other than a few stock shots, it’s Los Angeles). Larry is just using GA to make fun of Southerners and take digs at MAGA. No doubt next week’s episode will center around a Confederate flag or some other such nonsense. Not that I’ll be watching any more…

This series should’ve ended at season 10. Latte Larry’s going up in flames was the perfect ending to the series. Every single thing Larry thought was an asset, turned out being a spectacular disaster at the end. Larry got way too political.
