The only thing that didn't make it out of the hospital when I was there two weeks ago, was my sweater. I am mystified, since there were so many other things I could have lost, or that could have been misplaced by the staff, while at the hospital. But seeing this, I'm glad that I let it go.
The guy in bed is exactly the type of guy who would be "on the way to get a *soy* latte."

This character makes Larry seem likeable. What sort of ingrate steals a sweater from a person who helped him?
Because this is Curb Your Enthusiasm. Every good deed Larry does (and that isn’t saying much, considering how unpleasant he generally is) always ends with the person he helped screwing him over, or his favor being mistaken for an insult or even a crime (but in this case, it’s the former).

Another of one of those occasions when Larry is, at least initially, being the reasonable man in the conversation.
