Marella Voyager 1 Week Mediterranean Cruise (Part 1)

- I’m so excited to bring you part 1 of our fly-cruise with Marella onboard the latest ship in the fleet, Voyager! In this epic feature length docu-vlog filmed at the end of October, we start our journey at London Gatwick before flying off to Palma de Mallorca to join Marella Voyager. We’ll show you the fly-cruise process before boarding the ship and then it’s full steam ahead as we explore the ship over the course of the week trying all its facilities whilst also exploring the Mediterranean (on the itinerary we have Palma de Mallorca, Ajaccio, Rome, Pisa, Saint Raphael and Barcelona). So get comfy, grab a drink and some nibbles, and come sail with us on this epic Mediterranean adventure!

We were on the Maiden Voyage last June and really enjoyed it. The Summer Rooms was easily the best area for drinks. Cabins near the stern are the best in my opinion.

Really enjoyed this video! We went on our first cruise on the discovery 2 in 2018, the flight on the way home let them down but looking at the Voyager for my 40th. Looks great!

I have been waiting for this video! I love smaller cruise ships like the Marella Voyager. Great video, I have two questions - does Marella have a solo cruiser program for people sailing solo and are most of the passengers from Britain, any other nationalities on board? Thanks
Almost all from Britain, solo programme tends to be a hosted solo meet during first breakfast and people usually agree further meets at that point - it’s not the best programme (I’ve done it once before)

Just reminiscing, watching this.... Went on board this ship in July 24. Fabulous, couldn't fault the ship and staff.... Will def do another cruise again... Egypt looks good?

Another great video, I have a bit of advice I need to ask if I may. Hubby and I are doing a 2 day miami stay and 7 day Caribbean cruise in March 2025. I Don,t want a particularly large ship and ideally I would prefer adults only. Would you recommend MSC, Princess, or Royal Caribbean or ANY cruise line at all. Like u and mafoo we would rather it was not too rowdy.
Hi Mandy, none of those cruise lines you mentioned are adults only. Marella have an adults only ship as do P&O (they have 2). Azamara / Viking etc all adults only. And Saga if over a certain age lol 😆

Just waters available - take what you need
Have you any idea what percentage Solo Travellers have to pay on their single supplements.
It varies hugely on cruises and between cruise lines so there’s no specific % (some are definitely better than others)

Did you find that Abuela's puts a lot of cilantro in their dishes? I cannot eat it all (weird soap gene thing) so I'd be sad if they put it everywhere :(
Just ask for your food without it
@@TravelBlogJamie Will do! I'll have to remember to mention it when we seat, so I don't make it awkward later when we're ready to order. I've had situations where eateries would literally put it everywhere and I had to walk out.

Hi Jamie we are a vegetarian family and have been on a few cruises it would be great if you could review the vegetarian food as we have noticed that most ships have five or six meat options and probably one or two vegetarian options we think this is unfair as we pay the same for our cruise as carnivores
Hi Lynne - I don’t know if you’ve noticed but I always film the menus on all cruise lines and I very often have the vegetarian and vegan dishes (if you’ve seen my latest vlogs you’ll know I actually went to the vegan restaurant to review the food there). Thanks 😊

Nothing bothers me more than a dirty bowl or plate of food being served to a table. As a Pastry Chef and Caterer you always wife down any plate or bowl headed to a table. I’ve seen on all cruise MDR videos.
It’s a bit shoddy and makes me question quality assurance too
