- 👋 In todays review we check out the 2022 Dodge Challenger SXT! This model for the Challenger is more on the base level with the V6 engine! This 2022 Dodge Challenger also has the Blacktop package which provides all the black accents like the wheels and spoiler! The exterior on this Challenger is fairly simple, it has a distinctive front end with the sunken in grill and headlights! There is also a front spoiler on this model and aside from that, there are nice lines running down the side leading to the rear! The tail lights have a great oval shape to them! The interior on this 2022 Dodge Challenger has cloth seats and there is some plastic!
The back seat room in the challenger is very spacious! Three people could fit in the back making this a roomy five seater two door sportscar!
The drive is pretty smooth for this 2022 Dodge Challenger SXT! The steering input is a little vague, but that's to be expected for a base model and the power is adequate for the size and weight! It doesn't feel underpowered, but isn't quick either! This Dodge Challenger model is great if you love this model and don't need extra horsepower! It's a quiet driving vehicle as well and has all the tech you need for a daily driver! I love how you can get several different trim levels depending on your budget and what you want from your Dodge Challenger! You can go all the way up to the Hellcat with the supercharged V8 if you really want some power!

cue all the v6 haters... Lol. Just bought an sxt plus. Fantastic daily driver with premium sound system, and heated and vented leather seats. Plenty of passing power. Like it better than the vette and camaro I just sold. Get lots of thumbs up from old guys. Haha. I don't race or need to do burnouts so 305 hp is plenty for me.
The V6 Challenger/ Charger models are the bread and butter of the lineup.
If people want more power, there are Scatpacks and Hellcats models available.

I have a 2019 challenger with red leather interior. It is a super smooth ride and so comfortable. The only negative are the blind spots on the side. Other than that it is a really good car

I have a white Challenger with red leather interior, and I can say its super comfortable to sit in and a smooth ride. The one con i have about it is the blind spots on the side. Other than that it is a great car

This vehicle is ancient. I rented a 2005 (yes 2005) Charger many many years ago with the 2.7L which was based on the same platform. underpowered as heck but it drove nice on the highway. most vehicles have been through 3 or 4 redesigns since then. It's almost 20 years old.
The sxt is the best daily driver out of every models that dodge has made
This car is mainly just for some fun on a Saturday with your friends with that extra hp you get with the car

Kills mine but that’s bc of some crap I’ve done to it my record was 20 mpg it’s a 2011 but record was 20 mpg average is 12mpg worst was 8

I was looking at the sxt and the r t . I don’t want to do anything crazy and do not want the tires to spin at all just something that makes a decent but not outrageous amount of noise. Do you think for me the sxt is a better fit?

I got a ‘16 SXT with a few mods. I love my car. Cant beat that V8 sound, so I’m sure I’ll upgrade eventually. But for now, I’m good.

I love my v6… car is fast and handles perfectly.. how are people trying to trash another challenger ? All these cars are the same outside , hell even inside, and that’s really all that matters.
Good car for sure. Just people have different taste. I'm used to driving cars with 600 HP, so to me this just doesnt excite me. I'm more into the Hellcat since it's on par with my own cars. But just whatever works for you1 This V6 is a good daily and economical car for sure

For a V6 and it being 4 thousand pounds and not having as much power as the other ones the 0-60 is not bad on this kinda car.

You don’t push the brake while accelerating and shifting, but if you are downshifting and slowing down you can.

This car is too heavy for that 3.6L V6, but it's spacious interior and trunk will be suitable for a daily driver.

Disagree ... 303 HP pulls just fine. It does make a great daily driver with the look of the iconic muscle car design.
V6 is a u don’t have gumption too you but wanna say you do but if you wanna act fast but rlly just wanna be an average Jo here ya go but for everyone too say it’s good on gas look at the rt if you drive it normally mpg difference is hardly none but as someone who’s drove em both I could’ve had a lemon but the sxt felt like I was driving a v6 jeep commander not enough go for the weight but like I said good cars for someone who’s scared of speed but wants too look cool but if you want too hit the track or just pass someone on the interstate you better have about a 2 mile run and better stand on it and hope

Loaded scat packs are now mid 60`s hahahahhaha, back in 16 they was sub 40.
Same with every other manufacturer! That’s just what inflation does to vehicles and everything else!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed yup. I was going to drop cash for a new scat back in 16 and was waiting for the price to hit 40k for one with leather and the HID stuff, now r/t`s are mid 50`s hahahahaha. Crazy. I have a 22 cat now so I’m happy, was able to get it 1700 under sticker. I’m eating the 23 RS3 though. Traded in an A35 for the cat, and really dig the awd stuff, they are quick quick. The cat is a true muscle car though.

you think for the price of cars these days they all still come with spare tire...the inflation kit will do nothing fo a tire blow out
The challenger should come with one with how big the trunk space is!
You can order one with a spare, but the price is crazy. Over $400 for one. Every so often you can find one on a lot with the spare tire, but not often.

So while a challenger can have a smaller engine like the V6, it has the muscle car body, but not the muscle car performance. Nothing wrong with it, it’s just not a true enthusiast muscle car.
