Shreya Ghoshal is known as the Queen of Indian music. She's a freaking legend. Born in West Bengal, she made her debut in Bollywood at the tender age of 16 and since then has given countless hits. She's a multilingual singer and has sung songs in various Indian languages like Bengali (her mother tongue), Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Assamese to name a few. I've seen people reacting to "Sunn Raha Hai Rozana" - [T- Series Mix Tape], selections from the Sony Project Resound Concert sound good, and then there are the times as a judge on Indian Idol Junior when she picks up a mic and demonstrates something. There is also a performance with a Berklee Indian Ensemble. There are RUclips channels that teach those South Indian Carnatic vocal techniques.
She is best and my favourite. Love from India 🇮🇳

She is trained in hindustani classical music. There are mainly three streams/ideology of music like (1) Hindustani Classical Music (2) Carnatic Classical Music (3) Rabindra Sangeet.
Guru (Teacher), who teaches classical music, never allows his disciple to use falsetto or head voice. Shreya usually uses her chest and mixed voice

Those 'runs' are called "meer" in Indian classical techniques.
The nasal resonance is because of the language Hindi. It is a nasal language.

She is not using head voice dear.....head voice is prohibited in indian classical music

Don't know what I listened to, what the lyrics are about, who she is, but I liked it.
Phantasized a bit about to how she'd do on a stage with Floor Jansen. That's just this quirky, tuhaf thing I have nowadays, sometimes. New languages also do triggery things.

I watched your video of reacting to Arijit Singh and now Shreya Ghoshal too. India had and has a phenomenal numbers of great singers. You'll probably never get tired of listening the melodious and versatile voices of them singing. Some personal recommendations are Kishore Kumar, Shankar Mahadevan, RD Burman, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan, Abhijeet Bhattacharyya, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sonu Nigam, KK, Shaan and many many more.

Shreya Ghoshal is the melody queen. Huge fan of her. Try Mere Dholna or maybe Dewaani Mastani or maybe the beautiful mixtape of her in T-series "Sun raha hai na and Rozana" n many more songs... Also Try Sunidhi Chauhan too..she's a great singer too.
