You can put any wet clutch safe oil in a 2T, they don't care. 2Ts aren't hard on oil. Personally, i won't put a non-synthetic oil in a 4T. 4 Hours on my 250F and the oil is jet black...they're extremely hard on oil and i'm not a clutch abuser. I stick with Rotella T6 for the 4T (and the 2T, just so i don't have to stock something separate, but conventional is fine in the 2T).
Bro this oil actually stopped my clutch slipping 😂 I believed the Mobil 4t racing oil was making my clutch slip to yeah will always be running this. Except I run the t6 version
@mjrybread it depends what model. I used to have a 2009 crf450r and it had 2 separate oil fill caps and drain bolts. One for the transmission and clutch and the other for the top end. But yes most 4strokes share the same oil.
I don’t think this oil is good for a MC constant mesh gearbox. It seem to shear rather easy. When my bike was rebuilt 3rd and 4th gear dogs were worn bad. Had a buddy the same while using T4. The MC specific oil has additives for the type of MC gear box
No no no no no no no Do what you want but DO NOT!!! Tell others to do it The engineers are far more intelligent and knowledgeable than the rest of us so put in what’s supposed to be in there Powersports oils only Amsoil Torco Motul Liquimoly Oh, and only T6 has the JASOMA certification, but saying that just because something sneaks by at the minimum requirement does not mean it’s good for everything
Thanks for the information shell Rotella.

Good stuff for diesel & 4 stroke

Can I use the same oil for a generator it's like the same as a dirt bike engine four stroke 🤔 it's a small camping generator 3000 watt
for generator you can use regular motor oil, those dont have wet clutches
So it’s fine for engine oil and transmission oil in the 4 stroke?
There's only one place to put oil in a four stroke ,,so ya

Bullshit I just rotella t4 15w40 2022 Husqvarna te250i transmission is doing very bad shifting
My boy has 950 hours on his 250XCW, Rotella T4 15W40 the whole time, never had a problem. He's a fast woods rider too, not easy on equipment.
