Thank you, Pan, for showcasing the products! I especially appreciate your detailed explanation about the difference in the Adam's technologies and exhibiting the UV tracer.
Those little footnotes [about using 3-4 towels etc] is actually super helpful to give us a reference of things. The real time application so we can see how it's really done... Your videos always get better and better.
6 mons ago I applied the advanced product on my wife's silver-gray Mercedes 450gls, I mention the car due to its size. It took an entire bottle to coat the paint & trim. I used their glass graphene on the glass, Following the simple directions it went on well, The flashlight was great to confirm application. We live on a mile long gravel road and during the winter here on Whidbey Island in Wash state, it gets muddy. So, I wash two three a week with my active 2.0. The cleaning process is very fast. The water beading is great. I am preparing my 89 560sl show car for the coating. It black so it needs to be prefect before applying the coating. I appreciate your videos and the content you provide.
Thanks Richard and thanks for sharing your experience. I miss the videos when you would show the prep work before the coating process. I have the grapheme coating on my SUV and I absolutely love it. I get really geeked out when it rains bc I love seeing the water beading and sheeting while I drive. I haven’t had to use my wipers bc the water sheets off the windshield so quickly. And when you apply it to the plastic trim it darkens it and keeps it dark, so that’s a plus! I’m looking forward to the maintenance wash videos on this car :-) that grey color is awesome btw!
I live in Chicago, and have always loved Adam's products. When I heard about graphene, I decided to first try out the spray version. I used it on my 04 Jetta that is my daily driver. Very impressed. I usually see after about 6 months (using the full on 50ml concentrated version) these coatings, with my weekly washing/harsh winters. Start to diminish/disappear. I was able to get well over a year with the water still beading & looking great on my car. Excited for this new version & I will use it on my newer car this winter.
Pan, thank you for providing all the information on how to perform a two step paint correction. I just completed the job today with the Adam's Advanced Graphene Ceramic Coating. I couldn't have done it without you!
My 1st car i ceramic coated was silver and it was so hard to tell where I did or didn't do. This uv light tracing is such an awesome idea. great vid as usual
Just finished using the Adam’s on my car. Your videos were a HUGE help. The paint correction made for a long day but the ceramic application was actually fun. My wife’s car is next and then a few classics I have

I don't drop comments Pan but your clips are always presented with true integrity the way you test and talk about different products and your product shootouts/awards... So I left a comment. I have applied the regular Graphene coating to a SF90, my 19 Corvette and a 2022 bright green GT3, all came out phenomenal. Just ordered the advanced. I swear no matter how hard I try to be as meticulous as you, the results never look as good for me lol. Maybe it's like food-- it always tastes better when someone else prepares it. Either way, fantastic video. I am about to do my wife's white pearl coat 2017 Accord, after some Pan-inspired paint correction, with the mid-tier graphene coating and I am excited to see the results. Thanks for what you do !
Thanks for the feedback Sean. Don't get discouraged. Never forget that I have 25 years of detailing experience behind me, which helps to achieve amazing results. Hence why I try to transmit my knowledge, tips and tricks to help you guys as much as possible, so you can bring your detailing game to the next level. You will get there with practice. I remember when I first started... Hehehe. Nowhere near the level of craftsmanship that I am capable of today. ;)
Great video brother! That Nissan is popping and I love that new color. I was wondering what the differences were between the advanced and regular. It will be interesting to see how it holds up.
I just put the graphene ceramic coating on my Camaro. I love it! Being the first time using real ceramic I have a couple high spots that will have to be polished out and re-coated. I'm the only one that can see them. Other people don't even notice. Definitely purchasing the graphene line..
Great job and explanation as always!! It appears that Adams has gotten serious about their offerings. Tell your GF best of luck w the new suv! Merry Christmas to you both!!
I am almost 2 years in with this coating on my durango srt that sits 100% outside. Still holding up. Could use a decon now which I will do soon. Signed contract on new big 14' tall ceiling, heavily insultated, full hvac, full water for washing cars inside GARAGE!!!!! YES! By this fall I'll be going to town on my race car plus lots of detailing as well all inside and as cool or warm as i want it. Cant WAIT!
I applied this coating today on a graphite metallic Infiniti g37 in 64 degree Fahrenheit garage. I did not get any rain-bowing or sweating, but leveled the coating when the towel felt “grabby”. I hope I did this right.. didn’t want to overthink the moment!
Absolutely love the in real time videos. Best ones to reference back to for actual on site work for us enthusiasts. Thanks again Pan for another great one, though I may seriously consider switching to this type of product next time my UK3.0 is due to fade and do a refresh detail.
Thanks for the review of the Advanced version. I applied the “standard” version of Adam’s Graphene coating when it came out a couple of years ago, and it is still going strong. I use the ceramic boost every few months to pump up the gloss, and it looks almost like the day after applying the original coat. If I can get it to 5 years out of the 7 year PR line, I will think about re-topping with the Advanced like you mentioned in your other video about removing ceramic coats (or in my case re-applying, hopefully, if the coat is holding up well). Thanks for all the work!
Thanks for sharing your personal experience too! Always good to have real world viewer feedback on how products perform in different conditions, countries, cities, environments, etc.
I just used that same product today, I did it outside under a pop up canopy the longest part of the installation was the prep I did about half of a 2021 honda Ridgeline before it got to hot under the canopy it was flashing quick the parts that I did finish look very glossy and really smooth
Duuuuuuuude! I worship this stuff ha ha. I have applied it to a quite a few vehicles and I love every bit of it. I’m glad that you did a video, because there isn’t a soul out there who can do a better product highlight bru.
Good morning and great video Pan! I’ve used Adams products exclusively for about the last three years and recently purchased a 2021 Accord in pearl white. This is the third vehicle that I’ve used the Adam’s graphene coating on and could not be happier with the results. I chose the regular graphene coating vs. the advanced simply because the reviews on the advanced were not as good at the time. I don’t think you can go wrong either way though. Beautiful color on the Nissan.
Great video! I tried the original Adam’s Graphene Coating (mid tier as you explain in the video) last year when it came out. I thought originally the hydrophobic properties were amazing. But after one year I was disappointed. I ended up stripping it all off this year and went with Car Pro CQUARTZ 3.0 UK Edition with Gliss on top of the coating. I feel like the gloss and hydrophobic properties were way a better mix. Just my opinion. I will say the Adams Graphene Infused Tire Dressing is the best I’ve ever used and it does not sling on the vehicle.
We would need a bit more info on what type of maintenance you were performing and also if you tried any chemical decon of the surface? Coatings need maintenance and care. Often the hydrophobics gets masked by dirt, grime and minerals after a while. It doesn't mean that they're dead. They are often just clogged and need chemical decon action to restore their properties.
I always used car pro reset and Adam’s ceramic boost when I cleaned the vehicle. I’ve just been more pleased with car pro products personally. Pan I have you to thank for getting me into this mind set. I learned from your videos and people always comment how nice my vehicles look.
I have the spay coating coating lasted 1year on the paint but is now gone glass is at 14 months and still strong daily driven 12k miles parked outside never in a garage washed weekly live in California so weather is good
I’ve had the pleasure of using the Advance Ceramic for the past couple weeks on several details and the results are amazing. I also bought the new Advanced Ceramic Graphene Spray Coating and have utilized on a few vehicles as well. Just as you are following your own results, I am looking forward of following the results of the several I have coated. Great video!

@@PanTheOrganizer I believe it was after looking up a how to “clay bar your car “ type video … had concrete dust all over my car and it’s out now thanks to you vids !
I used the regular version over a year ago on several cars and it's literally fantastic. Dirt tends not to stick and I can wash my car using a foam cannon and pressure washer without touching it for several months before having to do a two bucket wash. A quick blast up to 70mph on the nearby highway dries the car without touching the paint except for the door jams and around the rear license plate. Now I have a matte finish vinyl wrap on my Autocross car and I wonder what protective coating (if any) would be appropriate for my new vinyl wrap.
You are the best instructor Pan, you explain things so thoroughly. Kudos to your girlfriend's new vehicle. That same vehicle was in very close contention when I was looking for my new suv too, but the Mazda CX-30 just had a bit more HP and a bit more upscale interior. She has already had a Mazda CX-5, so I think this was a great choice and great color too.
Thanks Susan! You made a great choice too. It's true that Mazda interiors always look upscale compared to the immediate competition in their segment. But yeah overall this Rogue has been fire! Looks great, and is overall more comfortable and quieter cabin in my opinion to the new CX-5 (which my brother owns).

Thanks for the very thorough review of this product. I used the standard coating bottle this summer and found that It is easier to apply than car pro dlux. Still going strong with an outside stored vehicle. Have you tried the CS3 as a topper yet?
Thanks Kevin. Are you confusing CarPro DLUX (wheels and plastics) with CarPro CQuartz UK 3.0 (paint)? Because the direct competitor to the Adam's Graphene Ceramic Coating is the CarPro CQuartz UK 3.0 (and not DLUX).
Love your videos to begin with. I’ve done all the steps above except for changing towels but I didn’t use 1 for the first wipe and a 2nd for the second wipe. I’d did this all around my 2022 Pilot and for the first time doing it, I feel like I did a good job.
Its been around 14months since i applied the mid range graphene on my car 2 layers graphene and one layer of the ceramic boost which came in the box along with the kit. My experience so far is good not what i expected that time even though I take care of my car myself washing and so on(following your guidance which i am grateful for it). However considering the harsh weather and high uv in Saudi Arabia. And my car spent have that time under the sun I am satisfied over all.
I don’t often leave comments but man I just need to say that you did a GREAT job breaking all of this down! 👏 This will be my reference video when I finally start the application myself so thank you! Very helpful with you giving the real time application and also all the side notes and helpful tips. The little stuff like how many towels, timing etc… Right now I’m undecided on which ceramic product to apply, originally I was thinking might as well use the best so Adam’s advanced. However my vehicle is roughly 5 years old and although in good condition I’m thinking that unless I get a professional paint correction done (which = $$) it might be wiser to use either the ceramic spray or most likely the mid tier Adam’s coating 🤔. Anybody with experience applying coating to a newish daily driver with good paint but some chips, scratches etc? Some advice would be much appreciated! It’s a white suv. Thanks for the video, liked and subscribed! 👍

Congratulations to Your S/O on the new vehicle! Very nice! Thank You for another thorough video on Your explanation of each type of coating along with pricing. That vehicle looks awesome! Super glossy and protected. I love watching those crazy hydrophobics!! Keep up the great work, stay safe.. have a good weekend.
Pan wanted to thank you for yet another awesome video. It gave me the confidence to apply two coats to my 2017 Corvette Grand Sport. I did two because I had so much material left after the first I started to worry that maybe it was too thin. I did purchase the advanced kit and the blue light. The kit provided everything one needs to complete the process after the completion of correcting the paint. The blue light was very helpful so I would also recommend it. In the end, provided you are willing to take your time (I spent about 2.5 hours), applying the Adam's Graphene Ceramic Coating Advanced did not consume much more time than the waxing/buffing application would take. As for the more than half bottle I have left plus the second suede applicator provided in the kit, I plan to train my son to coat his 92 Corvette. Thanks, Bruce
Thanks for sharing your experience Bruce! And you're right, for about the same time it would take to wax a car, you can ceramic coat your vehicle and have years of protection, instead of a few months with a traditional carnauba wax. By the way, I have a 14 month update on the performance of this Adam's coating here: ruclips.net/video/XGEkuR77poM/видео.html
@@PanTheOrganizer Pan I just found a small spot where I must have put on too much material and did not remove it. Now it is hard and won't come off. Any ideas? Thanks for your assistance. Bruce
Cool! Here's my latest update on the performance of this coating after a few years: ruclips.net/video/NdGawV-6pMc/видео.htmlsi=jVh6kQF794knPMyI We are now approaching 3 years (October 2024) since it was applied, and only recently have I started noticing the coating failing on the lower parts of the doors. It was doing great for 2.5 years, so I doubt it will make it to the claimed 9 years, but still a good performer overall. Coatings have dramatically improved over the last year or two, so the competition is getting stronger and stronger. Welcome to my channel. Recently bought a car that applied ceramic and tried to charge a $1000 for it, first thing I negotiated off but owning the car with a ceramic coating…wow this thing shines! Just bought this product for my wife’s car and will be applying soon because I am sold on their properties and shine. I wash with a ceramic infused wash and once every few months apply a ceramic detailer to keep shine and beading.

For your information. I applied Adams advanced graphene coating on paint, rims, barrel and plastic trim 4 months ago on my and my wife’s new vehicles. I did all if the recommended prep prior tod application. So far all services are going as planned with the exception of the plastic trim. One of the vehicles is garage kept. On both vehicles the plastic trim is showing signs of product failure. Looks hazy. I have had to start applying tire dressing.
Thanks for sharing your experience. It has been 6 months since I applied it to my girlfriend's car, and so far so good. Still going like new on the paint, almost gone on the windshield though, and so-so on the plastics. But for paint, its main intended purpose, it's awesome. I'll have an update video coming soon.
Pan, awesome as always, I'm actually installing this coating this weekend, heating up my garage to 68 degrees. Love the Bob Ross comment, always watch your videos and yes you have the same great cool and calmness of Bob Ross. All the best and thanks for the great instructional video.
Hi Pan, given that graphene cant bond to the paint surface, most graphene coatings apparently have a very small amount of actual graphene in them and are predominantly ceramic based. How does this small amount of graphene make the vehicle less susceptible to water spots? I can't seem to wrap my head around it. Water spotting should occur to all coatings, and as you've mentioned will vary based on a bunch of factors. So I'm keen to hear your explanation about how the graphene limits water spotting and now that they've been out a few years, what your real world experience is with that particular aspect of the graphene coating. Many thanks, Pete :)
I'm currently down a deep rabbit hole with paint protectants and thoroughly enjoy your videos. I have a 2021 Harley Road Glide that has a brand new custom paint job with graphics and pinstriping. I would like to use the right products and was hoping to get your opinion on which products I should have in my arsenal when it comes to prep, application and maintenance. My question is, which of the dozens of products do I actually need. Thanks for all of your content!
Hi Kyle. Hard to say as I don't really detail motorcycles. But if the surfaces you are talking about are painted and have a clear coat on top, the same applies as regular automotive clear coated paint. Perhaps watch a video I made about me washing, prepping and protecting my two brand new Vespa scooters: ruclips.net/video/QnrThKlP16w/видео.html
Very happy to hear that you rate the products so highly as the Advanced Graphene Ceramic Coating was selected by the professional detailer for my new 2023 Corvette. I have used the graphene coating on several cars that are not in garages and have handled harsh winters in PA. I recently applied the advanced spray coating on 2 cars and the hydrophobic properties are better then some professional coatings I have used. It is very user friendly, very glossy and super hydrophobic
Thanks for sharing! Prep is also key to have a product last long and perform its best. A good strip wash, iron remover, clay, machine polishing steps, and paint prep spray are all essential prior to applying any coating.
My 2021 Rogue has 2 coats of the original Graphene, followed up with one coat of the advanced. I almost never have to wash the car!! (but I do). When you look at COST and EFFECT, it's worth every cent!!!
Another great video, Pan. I'm not a professional so I'm not trying to make money at this, I do this as a service to my friends and people that couldn't afford a real detail. That's important to my question I'm about to ask. I also have multiple low-value cars to try all this stuff on. I haven't used Adams, but I think my experience still relates. I use Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Coating on three different cars last August, one of them I actually washed the car five days in a row and applied product dry every day, and then put a sixth coat on like a week later. One of the other cars I did two coats and one I did one. All three cars still have some hydrophobics and still wash up pretty well, but the one with six coats truly looks and feels no different than it did in August where the other two have had a noticeable degradation of the coating. I say that to say this, obviously you couldn't offer this in a professional package, but I'm wondering if you use the Adams spray every day for a week you will get pretty close to the same results as their higher end products used once. thoughts?
So far Pan the spray coating is working well for me. My Daughter and her husband got me the kit for Christmas last year so it came with the detail spray also. In May I did all the prep work ( as you tell everyone and is so true ) if you want a coating to work it’s all in the prep work. Well it’s still holding up well through the summer heat and rain on my daughters black 2016 Buick. We live about an hour north of Philadelphia. No snow or salt yet and her car and its not garaged so it’s always in the elements. Waiting to see how it holds up when they salt the roads. Although I’m not looking forward to it. 😩
my two cents: i have two vehicles - GX460 i used the spray on , garage car, has held up very well for being a garage car seeing rain / snow / road salt / sun etc through out the year, it's actually washed less than my 1500 and still looks clean! As for the 1500 i used the graphene coating, it sits outside 24/7 and i feel like the coating needs boosted more often because its exposed to the elements non stop. I use either the 303 graphene spray or turtle wax seal n shine to boost. overall very happy with the products.
Have been waiting for this and really Great Video. Thanks for those important little tips too. Planning to apply Adams Adv Graphene coating on my brand new polar white E200 very soon. Thank you very much Pan.
I was debating between the Adams advanced or the new invisible shield ceramic glass coating. Considering the Adams is four times more expensive it was a tough choice. But after watching your video I decided to go with the Adams as a glass coating. I drive a semi truck and this will hopefully make disability easier.
Pan, As always great video.. I've also been trying out the new Adams graphene coating line-up with their very cool flashlight, lol,, It appears to be working well so far.. Tried it on a 2008 Audi, The Cquartz3.0 coating failed after 1.5 years. So I Fully prepped the car surface from scratch. I applied two coats of the silver label coating on every surface, including paint, glass, trim, wheels, tires, exhaust tips, every exterior surface, about 4 hours between coats, 12 hours later I applied the spray coating, also silver bottle, F.Y.I. Adam's just recently came out with the gold label, 2x the concentration of the silver label, Then 4 hours later I gave the car a coat of their boost spray to prevent water spots and to aid in the curing process..3 weeks later and every week since I've given the car a good maintenance wash, so far it has not lost any of it's performance or hydrophobic properties.. One of the Claims that Adam's is making is that their coatings can go over top of any other coating, I'm yet to try this claim.. Also I recently purchased the gold label coatings and the tire dressing to try out.. Thanks again for another great video.. Your the MAN...
I’m in PA and I use the regular ceramic in my detail package and i just recently did a maintenance wash on a daily driven VW GTI and it’s been about a year and a half and it’s hanging in there strong
It's been about 5 months now since we applied it. I don't plan on making regular updates as it's very time consuming to make videos, and I have many other plans for videos now. But I'll likely do one at the one year mark. So far it's performing like day 1.
Great video, sir! You got me into buying this product. I figured I would do this myself considering professionals are wanting anywhere between 750 to $1,300 just to ceramic coat your vehicle. At what temperature is it optimum to do this? You don't do this in the winter time?
I keep a bucket of clean water near by...as I retire a microfiber during application...I pitch it in the bucket and allow it to soak until the coating cures on the vehicle...then I rinse the towels with fresh water & machine wash them... So far I have had good luck with this method..using these towels for secondary purposes..
Always appreciate these videos in real time pan, so we have a 2017 Nissan Rogue we bought brand new and looking to trade in to the 21, please let me know how Isabel likes it going forward. The rogue looks amazing!! 👍🇨🇦
Pan, I had just commented a couple of days ago I wished you would review this product, so it was a pleasant surprise when this popped up. A couple of questions - 1st, if I do apply a second coat, how long between coats, and 2nd, if I were to use Gliss as a topper, how long after applying the Adams before I can apply Gliss? Thanks for a great review of the product, and as others have said, I look forward to the durability reviews in the future.
No second coat needed, but if you were to apply a 2nd coat, you would do it 1 hour after the first one. If you want to apply Gliss, I would wait two weeks before washing the car, and then apply Gliss, as you're not applying it on top of a CarPro coating.
Like you mentioned Adam's graphene does work with other ceramic products, that said a nice life hack is to wash/Chem decon/clay, then use Dr Beasley's NSP Z1 for the paint correction. Z1 corrects and leaves a ceramic coating, can go right to coating with Adam's without the IPA wipe.
Pan is the man! Thanks for all you do! Impressive length of protection. I assume you cannot perform a light polish in the future when you get light surface scratches from everyday driving?
If you use proper washing and drying methods, you shouldn't need to polish the vehicle. And yes, you don't polish coatings as you would damage them. Chemical decontamination is the way to go (iron removers, tar removers, mineral deposit removers, etc). And if you need to polish for some reason, there is one light polish designed to polish existing coatings, this one: bit.ly/3GGFddL Meant to polish VERY light defects, like marring and love marks.

Hi Pan, I am new to your site recently and also new to the detail world , your videos are great and I am learning a lot. I do have a question, I just watched your video of the Adam’s Graphene advanced coating application, I am going to be doing this for the first time in a few weeks. I have been slowly building up my stock of microfiber towels, I do have some Rag company pearl and 300 but was wondering if something like the Kirkland microfiber from Costco could be used? In your video you said to through the towels away when you are done so that is why I was asking about the Kirkland since they are throw away? In another one of your videos you said the Kirkland was a good general purpose towel? What do you consider general purchase? Your input would be greatly appreciated
Great video. It’s amazing how the products are changing for the better! I’m doing my research and homework and will be doing my first coating this winter in my new shop. Now that we’ve had our first snow here in Canada what is the best way to clear the snow off of my vehicle without potential scratching? Now that I’ve got a swirl free vehicle it’s questions like this that keep me wake! Love the real time application, it gives us a gauge as to what to expect! Thanks PAN.
I just finished putting the Adam’s regular graphene ceramic coat on my Tesla, and it came out GREAT! I used your videos as my bible. I did all the steps you suggested (wash/decon/paint corrections etc. ) including all the products you suggested. I finished one entire coat hours ago. My question is, can I put another coat tomorrow? Or do I have to wait till the first one cures. I’d love to know.
At this point you have passed the window of opportunity for the second layer (45-60 min after the first coat). There would have been no real significant advantage for a second layer anyways. If you really want to apply a second coat, wait two weeks before washing your car again, then wash it, dry it, and apply a second layer.

Awesome 👏 video Pan Adam’s hit the nail on the head with that new product and it have more gloss than the older one from what I’m seeing 2👍👍 up to Adam’s they have it lock 🔐 and the price is great haha 😂 boy o boy Pan thanks 🙏 for that review much love enjoy the rest of your day 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🤙🤙🤙🤙👏👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Congratulations on the new car Isabelle! Pan you totally are correct, your voice is soothing! Haha 😂 I feel like instead of playing music next time I detail my car I should just play a video of you talking 👍🏼🙃
Excellent , excellent review Pan. I’ve used Adam’s original Ceramic coating. Pretty impressive. I was more impressed with your review, on the advanced version. Definitely going to try it out. You rock Pan. Love it.
Great video Pan 👍. Love Adams stuff. Have some experience with their previous version of the ceramic spray coating but can’t wait to try the graphene next summer!
Going to be using Adam's graphene tomorrow for the first time! Putting it on a customer's 2003 Jaguar X-Type that recently got a fresh paint job. The durability claims are pretty insane. If I like it I might have to pick up this "advanced" version! I hope that the weather being a little bit below 50 doesn't make things too difficult.
Hi Christian. Just a word of advice. Make sure you wait 2 months before applying any form of paint protection on a freshly repainted vehicle. The paint needs to finish it's gasing out phase. And I also can't recommend applying coatings in temperatures below 50F. Ideally you want to be around the 68F mark.
@@PanTheOrganizer Oh yes I know. It's been almost three months since the paint job so it's ready to go. Why is it that coatings are more difficult below 50F?
Love your instructional videos such as this. You make it look so easy and yet it encourages me to try it. You show the prep steps and then the application of the product and the proper way to apply, this drives me to give it a try. Thanks Pan. Ottawa
Glad it was helpful! I like to explain things as simple as I can, and show my viewers how to do things. I believe knowledge empowers people to go out there and have the confidence they need to detail their own cars. :)
@@PanTheOrganizer but it freaks me out that you said that this newest version is harder to level and buff out. I mean, it looks fairly straightforward, but I'm scared. Lol.
Great content Pan. I installed the Advanced Graphene Ceramic Coating yesterday on my new 2023 ranger raptor without any issues and I was wondering how long should I wait before applying a layer of bead maker to boost the gloss and slickness?
Hi Panos. After a coating is applied, wait 24 hours without exposing to water or rain. And wait a full two weeks before washing the car and using a topper. (Coating brands say wait 5-7 days before washing, but it's best to let the coating continue its curing for two weeks ideally before washing the car again).
Great video ,I’m a detailer being using adams Graphene ceramic coatings nearly two years, just delivered adams Advance Graphene coating two kits,is curing time the same as 7yr coating ,thanks pan
thank you for this video, it definitely helped as I just finished ceramic coating the car and not the front bumper since its going to get repainted. After the paint and ppf then I will ceramic coat the bumper

I am skeptical about graphene, but I think I will give it a try for my next coating. It really made me question my doubts when you mentioned how people initially said coatings were just snake oil.
Exactly. Some people just are resistant to change and hence believe any new tech is automatically snake oil. When ceramics first came out 5-6 years ago, some were yelling saying those are snake oils, it's impossible to add silica to a resin base, they won't last long, blablabla. Fast forward 5 or 6 years later, everyone knows ceramic coatings are the best form of paint protection, the longest lasting and the best chemical resistance, by a long shot. Graphene coatings aren't some magic formulation with fairy dust. There are actual scientists that worked hard improving what was already a great base, ceramic coatings, by adding reduced graphene oxide (RGO) to the mix, to help with hydrophobics and surface temperature and lower chances of water spotting issues (the main caveat of regular ceramics). So overall, a graphene coating still has a ceramic base formulation, with additives in it. And pretty much all the major big box store type brands have added graphene to their lineup now. I made a few videos about the graphene technology with a few leading industry chemists. Very interesting discussions. Here are two of them: One made with the head chemist for B&B Blending that formulate Adam's products: ruclips.net/video/Jevs_iIrzVI/видео.html One with the head chemist of 303: ruclips.net/video/kw4Ai1973sk/видео.html
Absolutely love this video, I’m definitely buying the ceramic coating after seeing you apply it. One question though, if I get new window tints after applying the ceramic coating will that strip it from the window?
Nice video, and full of knowledge. I like the way you educate your viewers. My question is on this brand new car please advise what brand of compound and polish did you use.
This is the polish I used: bit.ly/3izgxNW No compound was needed, as the vehicle was brand new and there were just a few light swirls and scratches. Compounds are used for heavier scratches and swirls, and heavy oxidation removal.
I just recently did a complete detail on my car which consisted of washing, iron removing, clay baring and I used Meguiars Ultimate compound, ultimate polish. and Ultimate Paste Wax. I have always used Meguiars Ultimate line of products but now want to try ceramic coatings. If I want to apply this product will I just need to use a surface prep to remove the paste wax then apply this?
Nope. You need much more to ensure 100% removal of any previous protection before applying a ceramic coating. And one of the crucial steps is machine polishing. Watch my tutorial on how to properly apply a ceramic coating here: ruclips.net/video/sqQYVjxFqK0/видео.html
@@PanTheOrganizer oh okay, I just did paint correction, and machine polished 2 weeks ago. If I just strip off all the wax. Should I clay bar it again and machine polish again Even though it's only been 2 weeks? I will use iron removal and paint prep on the paint before applying the ceramic coating.
Applying this right now, on a 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport in black, daily driver from the country to the city, full correction and decon, Located in Washington state
I use thier new advanced formula of the graphene ceramic spray. I cant say enough about the stuff. 6+ months in and it still evacuates water like day 1 and still looks absolutely amazing. I have it on my windshield as well and I never use the wipers, no matter how hard its raining. I washed, clay bar'd and polished everything really good before applying. Wipes on and off. Just make sure you use it outside or ventilated garage, this stuff is potent.
Hi pan, I recently (few days ago) applied adams graphene advanced coating to my vehicle every was fine but today I noticed some small bubbles appeared on the surface of my vehicle, the weird part was my vehicle didn’t exposed to any water or moisture so I wonder what’s happening and should I be worried about it? Thanks for answering my question.
I very much appreciate the manner in which you present this material. I have been in aerospace for over 40 years, and am not really interested in color commentary when it comes to sharing factual information. I am going to try to make use of this technology in the protection and finishing of high end electric guitars. They are subject to sweat and handling, as well as many other external sources of contamination, and I can see some value here with these products and techniques. If you have any information that may be helpful in this application, I would be very interested in hearing your opinion. thank you.
First, thank you for watching. Welcome to my channel. You discovered one of the biggest car detailing channels on RUclips as we surpassed 910,000 subscribers and we have over 120 million views! I have been detailing for 26 years and I love to share my knowledge and passion with my viewers. You found the right channel to help you learn everything about detailing. I come from a background of studies in medicine, more specifically biochemistry and molecular biology. Detailing is my life's biggest passion, so I decided to share my 26 years of detailing experience, and my knowledge of chemicals, to make detailing accessible to everyone. I am a firm believer that knowledge is power, and when people understand the reasons why we use this or that product, how it works, and how to apply it correctly, they're more inclined to want to do the job and do it right. Ceramic coatings are designed to bond to your paintwork's clear coat, that transparent layer on top of the base coat (color coat). So I'm not sure how it would apply to your guitar's surface, depending on what finish is has on there.
@@PanTheOrganizer I keep trying to explain to some people that I am in contact with that essentially, everything is science. In order to get an understanding of what you are trying to accomplish, you must understand how everything interacts, and when you have that clear understanding, you have a much greater chance of success. Most guitars have paint or stain, covered by a clearcoat of nitrocellulose or polyurethane. I believe that the products we are discussing could lend themselves well to guitars, as they also have to endure some harsh elements such as sweat, moisture, scratches, temp variations, and handling for long periods. We are essentially battling the same enemy. I will of course, have to make certain accommodations for applying these chemicals to a guitar, but there are a great number of similarities. Any ideas that you may think are applicable would be very welcome. thanks.
Thanks to Pan I got the courage to apply Adam’s Advanced Graphene Ceramic Coating on my brand new polar white E200. It look slick :-) Applied when temp was around 22 deg C and didnt see flashing. I wonder whether its hard to see flashing on polar white.

Hey Pan, what are your favorite spray bottles to use?
Thank you, Pan, for showcasing the products! I especially appreciate your detailed explanation about the difference in the Adam's technologies and exhibiting the UV tracer.
Is this one better than Dura Slic?
Hey Pan great video like always ,but I have a question for you, do you think this product is better than the Armor Shield ceramic?
Where are you local to in Canada ? Need this
Only time in history a Nissan Rogue's paint job looks as good as a Porsche 911.
Hehehe. It looks stunning!
Those little footnotes [about using 3-4 towels etc] is actually super helpful to give us a reference of things. The real time application so we can see how it's really done... Your videos always get better and better.
Thanks Joseph! It always motivates me to keep making better and better videos when I read positive feedback like yours!

Great video brother! That Nissan is popping and I love that new color. I was wondering what the differences were between the advanced and regular. It will be interesting to see how it holds up.
Thanks bro! I love that color too! So clean looking.

Glad you enjoy it!
Was looking for a solid review on the advanced bottle to apply on my corvettes.. helped immensely! Thanks as always Pan 👍🏼

Glad to hear it! Thanks for the support!
Thanks for sharing your real world experience Derek!

Finally, Adams Graphene products. Thank you for the in-depth details Pan! Awesome always
More to come!
I noticed that it was barely slick until I used either the detail spray or the graphene waterless wash
Ive heard the same thing.. hope Pan does a real world vid later on.. thinking about this or ethos for my new truck
@@PanTheOrganizer I will try that on the next wash. Thank you for your help

I have the spay coating coating lasted 1year on the paint but is now gone glass is at 14 months and still strong daily driven 12k miles parked outside never in a garage washed weekly live in California so weather is good

I put a light ceramic spray on already shiny wrap made it so smooth and wore really well.
Thanks for the very thorough review of this product. I used the standard coating bottle this summer and found that It is easier to apply than car pro dlux. Still going strong with an outside stored vehicle. Have you tried the CS3 as a topper yet?

I don’t often leave comments but man I just need to say that you did a GREAT job breaking all of this down! 👏
This will be my reference video when I finally start the application myself so thank you! Very helpful with you giving the real time application and also all the side notes and helpful tips. The little stuff like how many towels, timing etc…
Right now I’m undecided on which ceramic product to apply, originally I was thinking might as well use the best so Adam’s advanced.

Cool! Here's my latest update on the performance of this coating after a few years: ruclips.net/video/NdGawV-6pMc/видео.htmlsi=jVh6kQF794knPMyI
We are now approaching 3 years (October 2024) since it was applied, and only recently have I started noticing the coating failing on the lower parts of the doors. It was doing great for 2.5 years, so I doubt it will make it to the claimed 9 years, but still a good performer overall. Coatings have dramatically improved over the last year or two, so the competition is getting stronger and stronger.

Thanks for the feedback John! And good luck with the coating. You can do it! 😁👍🏻
Great review as always!! Do you shake your Car Pro ceramic coating bottles as well?
Any coating bottle. Yes.

Hi Kyle. Hard to say as I don't really detail motorcycles. But if the surfaces you are talking about are painted and have a clear coat on top, the same applies as regular automotive clear coated paint.

@@PanTheOrganizer absolutely, that's the only way to go!
Finished paint correction on my black Durango yesterday. Getting ready to apply this same coating this morning
Don’t forget to use a paint prep spray or IPA to wipe the surface of any polishing oils and residue before you apply the coating. 👍🏻
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for sharing man!
I’m in PA and I use the regular ceramic in my detail package and i just recently did a maintenance wash on a daily driven VW GTI and it’s been about a year and a half and it’s hanging in there strong
I definitely think a 3 month update video on this would be great 👍
It's been about 5 months now since we applied it. I don't plan on making regular updates as it's very time consuming to make videos, and I have many other plans for videos now. But I'll likely do one at the one year mark. So far it's performing like day 1.
Another quality video Pan. As usual. CHEERS
Thanks Joseph!
Great video, sir! You got me into buying this product. I figured I would do this myself considering professionals are wanting anywhere between 750 to $1,300 just to ceramic coat your vehicle. At what temperature is it optimum to do this? You don't do this in the winter time?
68F (20C) is ideal. Never apply coatings below 50F (10C).
For secondary purposes ok, but never on paintwork.

Curious on this as well. I had the exact same question.
If you use proper washing and drying methods, you shouldn't need to polish the vehicle. And yes, you don't polish coatings as you would damage them. Chemical decontamination is the way to go (iron removers, tar removers, mineral deposit removers, etc).
And if you need to polish for some reason, there is one light polish designed to polish existing coatings, this one: bit.ly/3GGFddL
Meant to polish VERY light defects, like marring and love marks.

Thanks PAN.

Good to hear!

Here are two of them:
One made with the head chemist for B&B Blending that formulate Adam's products: ruclips.net/video/Jevs_iIrzVI/видео.html
One with the head chemist of 303: ruclips.net/video/kw4Ai1973sk/видео.html
Absolutely love this video, I’m definitely buying the ceramic coating after seeing you apply it. One question though, if I get new window tints after applying the ceramic coating will that strip it from the window?
The tints are applied on the inside part of the glass. The coating is on the outside. So that doesn’t matter.
Let’s start the morning off good with a video from pan
Hell yeah!
Hi Pan, another great video!!! Question, can the detail spray be used as a "topper" spray?
Yes but keep in mind quick detailers have a shorter durability.
Nice video, and full of knowledge. I like the way you educate your viewers. My question is on this brand new car please advise what brand of compound and polish did you use.
This is the polish I used: bit.ly/3izgxNW
No compound was needed, as the vehicle was brand new and there were just a few light swirls and scratches.
Applying this right now, on a 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport in black, daily driver from the country to the city, full correction and decon, Located in Washington state
Cool !
Thanks for sharing your experience Shawn.

If you have any information that may be helpful in this application, I would be very interested in hearing your opinion. thank you.

It look slick :-)
Applied when temp was around 22 deg C and didnt see flashing. I wonder whether its hard to see flashing on polar white.
Thanks for watching!
