    Got one on the way as a first bike, it's titled, registered, and insured! I'm in VA so it has quite the trip to go. Super stoked to get it. I have been watching all of your videos, so, thanks :)

      This is too late. But I wish I had read your comment before it was delivered. I would have liked to have requested a video of the delivery and unboxing. I live in an apt building. And my one concern is where am I going to unbox the bike and how I dispose of the crate. BTW did you get the stock luggage? And if so how is it holding up after a year on long trips. ?

      @John_Henry83 it is great on long distances, completely inhales miles. I have over 3800 on it now, and I change my own oil. The luggage has held up well, and there is no box to remove it from, it comes to your house ready to ride. The folks at CSC assemble and test it before sending to you.
      I would pick this bike again, easily.

    I have a 2018 tt250. The one place where they definitely saved money was on the rear shock. It sucks. Very soft, barely any travel. Suspension is a good way for cheap bikes to cut corners, you can't tell if it sucks just by looking at it. Otherwise, The front shocks are okay, and the brakes are fantastic. And it's still chugging along.

    I'd highly advise considering your absolute budget before buying one of these or an RX3 (any FI bike from CSC). If you intend to actually put miles on it *WILL* cost you more in (unscheduled) maintenance/parts. There are more quality bikes that are also budget oriented (benelli, RE, CF moto and ofc the traditional japanese or euro brands). It is definitely worth it to find a comparable used or slightly more $$$ bike. CSC staff are great, the product is meh.

      What issues have you experienced? The same engine is used is many brands and is known to be a dependable one. Have you been having suspension or electrical issues?

    • @ion123456
      @ion123456 Год назад +4

      @@parkcityadvdualsport9525 There are different variations of the NC450, the version in the RX4 being the least used. Different heads, valves and cams. The engine hasn't been the primary issue, but the actual frame/features and electrical (especially electrical) are mediocre to poor quality. Imo the (piaggio designed) engine is pretty solid having rebuilt mine. The harness has 180*/90* bent wires which will expose themselves (same wires doing this on 2 harnesses), instead of using an appropriately facing connector. That in itself is an indicator of poor harness design. Single wires off the harness that use an exposed single lead connector (similar to a spade connector, but bullet shape) - it literally looks like a hack job but its actually an OEM design. Shitty junctions inside the wire harness where multiple circuits are simply crimped down to one wire, and left uncovered. I had the pleasure of going through the harness after a fire (yes my harness literally burned, because of improper installation). Harness was zip tied to a bolt, instead of the tabs specifically for that purpose, eventually the poor-quality harness tape wore away and a short circuit occurred. Bike never ran right after this, replaced different components and relays, piston eventually blew a ring land. Insurance almost flat out denied my claim because of what they considere4d a manufacturer defect, in the end it still got denied (now I know why most insurance companies would not offer more than liability for these bikes). Cat is a mismatch afterthought that is improperly sized; the cat is a 2.5", the bike uses 1.5" piping, and the pipes entering and exiting the cat area literally stick out like and inch on each side. There is space for exhaust to hit a wall and increase backpressure (help make the pipe glow red and help crack the exhaust pipe). The main frame piece is robotically welded; everything else isn't, and is not better quality than any other cheap bike from PRC. The ladder under my fuel tank is welded at weird ass angles, which look completely hand welded (no jig???). Ohj, the exhaust fell off ont he highway too, and when I removed the tab from which the exhaust fell off it was sae bolts (???wtf, im guessing CSC installed those, why would a Chinese factory using metric randomly use SAE bolts??)I could go on for another page about this bikes deceiving quality and my own experiences with broken shit.. Another thing - despite what CSC likes to claim in marketing material, they do not stock all parts (I'm not talking having 100% in stock of all parts whenever someone calls), and in some cases *cannot* acquire replacements for CONSUMABLE parts, or for brand new bikes.. people can't even get a color matched gas tank on a bike that's bene here 2 years already (not me)??. They like to point out the features but the reality is that most of these features are actually low quality or basic performance.. Included plastic luggage is garbage (not practical in use, and some type of brittle "resin" plastic). Crash bars are weak, and they are mounted in a way (to an m6 10mm bolt ON THE SUBFRAME) that can easily damage/bend the front subframe if you do need them.. tft doesn't really have any special features that you'd actually use a TFT for (but it adds to the "value").. Oh yea, my cluster (non-tft) actually BOTH clusters have this weird fade and some kind of white substrate that slowly builds and moves left to right in a dome shape (some kind of electro/chemical reaction in the LCD). The tubeless tires are a legit value added feature through, and honestly that's really the only one. Like I said man, I could go on for a long time. Check out the RX4 thread on ADVrider (tchris) I think I mentioned it there

      YES you will have problems getting parts. Despite what csc claims, they actually can't source some parts. Some parts they only sell as parts of a bigger assemblyu, which is usually an expensive part. I've had to search chinese sources to find certain parts. I've had parts on backorder for months before. If you can't wrench or don't want to learn, you will find this bike is very expensive to own, IF you can find someone to touch it. This is also a problem when trying to use the warranty.
