Every brand dimensions are different. Many makers make theirs slimmer like LF does. Sojourner makes their TNs slimmer than ChicSparrow for example. And there are quite a few makers that make there’s quite a bit bigger than ChicSparrow - Speckled Fawns makes many of theirs wider and/or taller and other makers too. It’s always important to check the makers dimensions bc they can be so varied. I keep a spreadsheet comparing the dimensions of many of my favorites for reference. ChicSparrow actually made their personal taller back in 2018 because of massive customer requests. They wanted more flexibility of insert heights bc different insert makers make personal inserts at different heights and the flexibility of using B6slim inserts (just less of them) in a slimmer fit. More flexibility.
For some reason, it is much easier for me to comprehend size differences by seeing rather than reading measurements. Perhaps I should keep a visual chart showing the differences....

I have the spreadsheet bc it helps me know which run smaller vs larger bc for some it’s such a huge difference (some B6slims are 7.75” y’all so crazy tall and I hate it 😝). I often cut a piece of paper to see the visual difference and test around my inserts. Helps me decide 😊
I sold my Lady Falcons because of their smaller size. Otherwise the workmanship is lovely. Thank you for explaining the sizes so others know before purchasing! 🦋

I have found most other small company brands like Speckled Fawns and Sojourner are closer to Chic Sparrow in sizing--with some minor differences. I have not yet encountered another brand that is as different in sizing as Lady Falcon. I do think that, for whatever reason, personal size seems to vary the most amongst brands.

I love lady falcon sizing. I wanted a b6 slim chic sparrow but now I will definitely look for a personal.

This is my concern, I like more room for my books. I do see I can have her widen and add height but still not sure 🤔

I have b6 size from chic sparrow. So if i want to buy cover from falcon, which one should i get? B6 or B6 JIS?? im confused 😣
You should probably get the regular B6- B6 JIS will be a bit smaller.
