I’m planning to have my test today if all goes well!
When I started out with my permit I absolutely HATED driving because of everyone else on the road, especially on highways.
I was somewhat confident in my own driving skills as I had a great teacher and a mother who helped me through everything, but good grief there are some drivers out there that seem like they have no regard for other people let alone their own life-
People merging with no signals, not fully stoping at stops signs/lights, tailgating, weaving, and I almost had to call 911 on an elderly lady in front of me because she was swerving into oncoming traffic! Please, pay attention to other drivers and give them PLENTY of space in case something happens! Good luck to all who are interested in getting their license! Stay safe out there and I’ll update if I passed or not. 🎉
Edit: I wasn’t able to do the test today but we’re hoping on trying Friday! It was super busy and backed up lol. Wish me luck.
Second Edit: I passed first try! If anything getting all of the documents ready for my license was more stressful than the driving part. To those reading, don’t worry too much about your test. It’s seriously not that bad. If I can do it, anyone can. Stay safe y’all. 👍

Passed my test today on my 3rd try. These videos helped alot, if ur learning or taking ur test soon practice as much as possible u can never have too much practice. Learn from ur mistakes and keep trying and don't get discouraged like i did. Take it easy and slow.

I failed my road test today because I hit the cone when exiting the parking space I did parallel parking fine, but I didn’t get to do the driving part. We did parallel parking first.

taking my test august 4th for the second time. the first time i failed was because i didnt enter the bike lane causing an automatic fail. i know i can pass and i get nervous thinking about it but when i am in the car im not nervous at all and very confident in my skills.

My test date is tomorrow at 11:30am (AKST) and I'm a little nervous. Especially since I'm gonna be driving this 7½ to 8 foot long 4 door Nissan Titan. I'm not worried at all. Just nervous for the parallel parking part but i think i got it. Wish me luck :) 🙏

How come this driving test is only a couple minutes so fast and quick I wished my driving test was this fast but this driver was excellent even if the test was another 20 minutes he would easily passed. In Alberta the drivers test is 45 minutes with Parallel parking and hill parking with highways. Is there any videos in this channel that do the Alberta drivers test if not it’s perfectly fine?
its new york, they usually only do normal driving (left/right turns + maybe changing lanes), the most important parts are parallel parking and the 3 point turn
In BC, the novice drivers test is 45 minutes and the full class 5 test is about 30 minutes. These US tests are jokingly easy.
I also heard that Alberta ud getting rid of the second road test.

Really not as bad as I expected. The examiner just took me out of the dmv, turn left, turn left, enter residential area, 3 point turn, and back to dmv. We finished so quickly that I thought I messed up 😅😅

Hey guys I just did my driving test and I only had 40 points which was enough to pass but I had a automatic Failure because the instructor told me to turn right in a red light. So when I was doing the test I decided to wait until the light to be fully green just to be extra safe but then a car behind me decided to honk at me and the instructor told me that you had to go you shouldn’t wait until the light was green you should have waited like it was a stop sign then go but I said that this shouldn’t be an automatic failure because I thought it was optional. But the main reason on why he gave me the automatic failure was that I had obstructed traffic even though you don’t have to turn on a red light. Like I wouldn’t have mind to lose some points but to have automatic failure mainly because a driver behind me honk because I wanted to be more safe made me really pissed at the instructor in my head. Can anyone explain to me why this could’ve have been an automatic failure?
that sounds so weird to me, cause youre making extra sure that it's safe to proceed by waiting for the green light!!!! in the driving lessons i had, the instructor would tell us "even if it doesn't say no turn on red, we wait for green"
@@ignbqsil yea apparently in Alberta my Instructor told me it’s not optional, that it’s mandatory that you have stop, wait until traffic clears then take the right turn you can’t wait until the light green. Afterwards I did some research and it said it wasn’t mandatory at all it’s optional to take the turn at a red light. Apparently I was obstructing the traffic cause this guy honked at me and I’m certain that if a driver honks at you in the exam they automatically fail you even if you’re in the right. these things happen I just hope luck is with my side for the next exam
I don’t think it’s REQUIRED for you to turn at a red. Def sounds like a reach from the examiner to me
@@ethivsannyea very annoying but I did my driving test and my examiner was amazing and I passed sometimes you may get terrible examiners but other times there are great ones as well

I don’t think so. Sometimes, they say it’s better to just wait it out to be safe. Otherwise, check which side of traffic has the green light, check ALL your sides (including bike lanes) and if it looks safe to go, you may go. BUT also remember to make a COMPLETE stop at the red light before u do anything else. Hope this helps!

I had stopped behind a car in right turn lane on a red light. That car moved and I rolled over the limit line. So, it was an immediate fail.
