I think 15mm spacers all around is perfect

I’m rubbing with 12mm spacers and almost a full drop

Mine is done from port install, about the same height of yours (1.5-2fingers gap). I had 12mm all around. the rear looks perfect imo (you don’t get to much intrusion but pretty good stance). Front I’m going for 15mm for a little bit more but I experienced myself if full lock that if it’s more than 15mm, they may rub.

Spacers 20mm rear and 15 mm front on mine perfect fit with AST HAS. Get Bonoss spacers they are most hubcentric.

Stiffer spring rates up front and softer spring rates in the rear will INCREASE the oversteer tendancy which will give you a feel of "easier to turn in." Assuming your facts are accurate that the M2 with factory springs is stiffer up front (compared to M3/M4), then yeah putting in these different spring rates will certainly change the steering/handling balance. It would be intersting to see if anyone has the actual spring rates of M2 factory vs. the HAS kit; I haven't bothered to look up the actual spring rates to verify this.

Nope, I wrote that backwards....ugh sorry. Stiffer up front makes it harder to turn in and softer in the rear gives the rear tires more mechanical grip, so less oversteer. However, changing spring rates and ride height at the same time makes it difficult to parse out which change had which affect.

Looks great. This def convinced me to get the kit. My BMW dealership is super chill so im sure they’ll price match as well. But man I do not want to run spacers lol

Don’t do spacers. Everyone is so quick to jump to spacers because it’s cheap. Spacers change the original driving dynamic of the car and put more strain on steering components (not for the better) so just get wider tires they fit on the stock wheels up to 295 in front and 305 in rear and that fills the fender flare the same way plus you’ll have more grip💪. If you’re in SoCal I can recommend a BMW dealership that will install everything with alignment for 3k.

@@M2socal yeah thats more what I was thinking. A new set of rims would fix the issue too. Im in northern Ohio lol but thanks for the recommendation

I doubt it more comfortable. I have kw and it’s stiffer. You also need spacers. Springs would be more comfortable and you still get dsc to work with springs. HAS is closer to coilover so it will definitely be stiffer than springs.

That’s what I thought too, but it’s not as stiff feeling as stock. Someone told me the spring rate / dampening is better tuned on the HAS kit that’s why it feels more “comfortable” since it absorbs bumps in the road better, I guess that makes a little sense. The handling is noticeably better though so whatever it’s doing, it’s working. I have zero body roll.
