So glad to hear ''Shadow' performed live (thanks Audiotree!). There's a lot more singing and lot less of of Jack's trance-inducing guitar work in his recent releases, starting from 'Life of Pause'. While I find the singles in 'Hold' to be well-composed, such as 'Headlines On' (love that he has worked with Hatchie) and 'Suburban Solutions', and somewhat a return to form, I don't love them as much as his earliest releases. I have followed Jack's discography closely since his debut, and I must say that 'Nocturne' remains my favorite album to date, followed immediately by 'Gemini'. Those albums just serve up soundscape after soundscape, and I would remember just shutting my eyes, limbs laid out on the floor with a good pair of headphones on, and repeating 'Gemini' (as in the track) over and over again. That outro is something I wish to hear from Jack again. I hope he gathers enough inspiration to create marvels of art like that again in the future.
Pulling down the MOON…nice ❤ Oi Oi Oi from Sweden and the county of Dalarna, north part of the county and far out in the deep woods and the lake Siljan…
FYI - the guitarist is Christoph Hochheim who is the twin brother of Beach Fossils drummer Anton Hochheim
and both brothers have played for the Depreciation Guild and the Pains of Being Pure at Heart!
@@SetlistDoctor I liked better when Nathaniel Goodman played guitars with Jack/Wild Nothing.
Hey Anton and Chris! We went on tour together once ❤

@@peptog488 Who are you?
Love for Wild Nothing, discovered during my first university years. A hug from Italy!
Playing Shadow at the end is insane. Bless.
Man, Jack is a genius, and his live band always elevates things.
Christoph with Wild Nothing makes me so happy....well deserved gig, such a solid musician!
same!!! he really serves with those killer riffs ❤🔥❤🔥

I remember listening to several of there songs back in like 2012 and little onward but never looked them up live. Was actually stoked to see this
The mix sounds 🔥
@@mikebell361 the keyboards on "Shadow" sound too low. You barely notice the strings ambient.
Can’t wait to see you guys live in Mexico! Hope to hear some more old bangers
No Blue Wings?
All the songs sounded incredible both performance and mix. Can’t wait to see you live on Aug 8th in Toronto 🔥 !

Audiotree u are awesome. Wild Nothing is my favourite band. Greetings from Ukraine
been a fan since forever
We don't have KEXP this time, but we have Audiotree
Let's see if they play KEXP while on tour
Sadly the closest they're playing Seattle on this tour is San Francisco.
@@thebrysmith3 they're playing in Washington DC... isn't Seattle near?
Was just telling a co-worker about you guys. Serendipitous this popped up!
actually its just google spying on oyu
Melhor Banda de todos os tempos, sou fã... the best band of the world
Your music makes me happy, & I haven't been happy in years
🥺
Thank you so much for this session
Jack and the gang sound so good live! Cant wait till they are at the Sinclair
I'm surprised he didn't have one till now. Glad to have more content
WOW. This whole album is/was GOD tier. Listen to Nocturne the ALBUM.
So excited to see them next month in Guadalajara, Mx. ❤❤
Your music is magical ❤
Let’s go!
Been a fan of wild nothing since Nocturne then discovered Gemini, which imo is the best album. Jack Tatum spits out masterpieces.

sounding so good
kinda wish you could’ve heard the iconic synth part in ‘Shadow’ a bit more. :/
Awesome set! Never realized Tatum looks like Michael Maronna from “The Adventures of Pete and Pete”
oh, to be that microphone
FINALLY
very nice, i like
Glad Jeff is still playing Bass for them
shadow!!! 🎉❤
Dope!
Essa música só me lembra aquele baterista no show em Chicago o bigodudo q parece o Louig do Mario ❤
Same grate sound
Hype.
OMG how many years have you been listening to Shadow?
yooooo
Can u play Be Sweet live from now on please lol
Does anyone know if Alex is in a funky tuning on the guitar? Trying to figure it out and failing!
Does his bandmate lineup always change?
yeah, it's changed a couple of times as Wild Nothing has been Jack's solo project from the start
@@chyntiaar7488 well, they all still know how to jam!
@@dance_pattern they absolutely do!! 💫
The bassist remains his oldest bandmate, apparently.
He's Wild Nothing, indeed.
Great drummer!! 🥁
what do they call that style of microphone he uses?
Does anyone know what brand that bass cab is?
@@mattjritter1 think Janice is the brand name
Definitely a Janice, likely a 4x12. Could probably message Jeff Hailey and he'd respond. Very nice guy.
Thanks to both of you for the info!
Who is the keyboard player?
Well fuck me. I am alive again!!!
Try using a jazz bass live I think it would suit this music better live
The band is very good but the program is without salt, without soul
