Unbelievable condition on this increasingly collectable 1970 Chevelle SS 396 Tribute. Finished in a sleek Black exterior with Silver Painted Stripes, this Chevelle will turn heads driving down the road. The '70 model is absolutely timeless and featured some significant cosmetic changes from previous years. First functioning cowl induction hood with racing hood pins and a newly styled iconic front-end just to name a few. All four wheels are custom polished 20in RIDLER wheels with WILWOOD Disc Brakes riding on the ever reliable Monster Nitto tires. This Chevelle has been stored inside and very well taken care of, absolutely zero door dings or notable chips in the paint, outside the car is in fantastic condition. It only gets better when you open the doors and get a look at the matching interior. Black premium interior with silver accents to compliment the exterior paint, sitting in this SS 396 coupe takes you back in time. Up front there is the Chevelle's iconic grill featuring 4 headlights, with special upgraded LED headlights. The '70 Chevelle has such a unique bumper that sets it apart from other years, the chrome bumper is in remarkable condition. The motor is a true 1970 396 engine, completely rebuilt, including 10-1 compression, all high performance racing parts and aluminum heads. The engine is bolted to a TH700R transmission, aluminum drive line and 12 bolt posi-traction rear-end with 4:11 gears. Finding a ’70 Chevelle in this condition is rare, this car is a great addition to any collection. Very nice hybrid of race modernized, yet street neat tech. I would not bother with ac, but if someone hits the button, that trips the relay for Oooga Oooga horn. All that needs is a trailer hitch, and an all-chrome teardrop camper.

What we have here is a really nice $20,000 car to start with. Because you’re gonna have to source the original transmission and 396 and put proper wheels back on the thing - if you’re gonna do aftermarket disc with 20” wheels you need much larger discs. Not just for the proper aspect ratio but that’s more rotational force than the size of brake is designed for. People don’t take this stuff into account.
Restomods need to be done properly or don’t touch it at all. This was a hack job.
Sorry you are disappointed, everyone has a different taste. Some people like old cars, some hate them, some people like stock, some like aftermarket. We appreciate you watching and supporting our channel. 5 years ago, it was a $12,000 car.

holy crap what some fool did that awesome car, why in the hell ruin that classic like that, I mean the steering wheel is incorrect, looks like it came off a '73 Camaro or something, the wheels are horribly incorrect, the headlights are LED nightmare and those things look AWFUL on these cars and every other from that era for that matter...ugh
what a shame really

Sick as chevelle u should have kept that ac though a chevelle looks sick with tinted windows n roll all the way up
You girls are cute and I am sure that's why they have you in the videos but your assessment on the Chevelle was ridiculous. First its not a 4 speed like you said. Second the clean carpet in the trunk for the year had me rolling. ITS NOT ORIGINAL, they came with a vinyl liner. 3rd, the headlights that are in "great shape" are aftermarket LED headlights. 4th the grills on the 70 71 72 are all basically the same so the if you see this car coming up from behind you know its a 70 Chevelle is wrong. From the front they are the same from the back not so much due to the tail light differences in 70 and the 71 & 72 are round trail lights. The car has been completely restored so your this is in great shape and that's in great shape is well.... because its BEEN FULLY RESTORED! This car is a Resto Mod restoration. I personally think its hideous with the ugly rims and the black grill but that's my personal opinion. In the future I would just do a little homework on whatever your presenting. and the "two is better than one" is kind of cringe worthy.
You may be right, but that's a bit harsh. Anyone buying this will know it's a restomod and realize things have been restored, or changed, that engine is no where near stock. But seriously, who really cares, this car's a beast and the girls did a great job showing how it drives which is why people buy these.
@@paulsalow9156 That's cool, we all have different opinions. Its obvious why he has the girls in the videos which is fine, but i watch all the videos as I buy cars online in and around south Florida and ship them up North to Michigan, but to have them make improper statements and pretend to know what they are talking about I personally think its a bit silly. Just have them drive and walk around the car or whatever but I look at it as a parody of sorts. Maybe the next one will have them in Bikinis! Fingers crossed.
A 70 Chevelle coming up from behind would be easily recognized as a 70 and not a 71, or 72. Those three model years are the easiest to identify from the front.
There are many high end auto channels with coked-up, hairy-assed clowns that would probably turn on a perfect, all knowing, rich, connoisseur like yourself.. As for me, a couple of educated, classy, no-ink having cuties is welcomed any day. They never claimed to be experts. You are harsh on these ladies and kinda being douchy.
