I had a 67 cougar with a 289 loved it. It was my first car for 200 dollars. Bondo baby cancer, but it was mine. Interia was clean, and the engine was perfect. She had cancer around the wheel wells. Beat up on the outside.

I had a brand new 1969 Mercury Cougar that was my wife's and my first car purchase. Paid cash $3500. I just showed this to my wife and she said forget it buddy. But I loved that car.

They said they were asking 4500 for this xr7. That is actually a good price. They are a hard car to find.

@ken. I don't think the maker of this video is being honest. That '70 Cougar has to be a lot more valuable than just $4,500. 😊

That 1964 Valiant has got to be a Canadian mopar. My first impression was that that was a '64 Dodge Dart, but Chrysler did make some interesting changes to its export models, like selling Dodges as Plymouths or changing exteriors parts within divisions. In example, in 1964, they put the Barracuda grill on a Valiant coupe and sold it as the Valiant Acapulco in México. Good stuff.

If I had a place to keep a classic car that $4500 Cougar would be something I would snap up, I could see putting a few thousand into it to make a nice drivable car. The 72 Cadillac was a nice-looking car. The 73 Oldsmobile looked almost mint, very nice.

    • @shanemitchell477

Why would someone do a crank bearing check...after it's rebuilt? Unless the guy heard a knock, also who wants a 351 Windsor, I would much rather have the original Cleveland.

The 79 Volare and 77 Fairlane? Get real. You should be featuring classics, not lumps of crap on wheels that nobody wants. The Fairlane doesn't even look to be U.S. made. That XR7 is the class of this lineup by far.
