To be honest it's quite impressive that there are so many zombies and it doesn't lag, I play on a mediocre laptop and the game was running 40-50 fps on medium settings, absolutely runs amazing.

I really wish they had a character creator. They have a good amount of customization, and I think being able to play your own character in a sort of Horde mode would be amazing
It's insanely fun. I truly hope they come out with dlc maps in the future. Not that I've completed all the missing yet. It would just be awesome to see this game keep going long after it's release.

It's obviously lacking in the special infected department, it looks like it needs more.. the first mistake that L4D1 made, not enough variety in infected. But it does look good other than that.
This game runs really well and it is fun and for the price it’s great. Not too many games can accomplish that. With continuous support it’ll last. They just need to really fix that audio glitch

FreshCarrot there's an indie game where you take control of a horde of people which is pretty responsive. Also Picmen and Overlord have that kind of thing. I definitely think it can be done without being wonky.
Huge L4D player, still a player, and this game does it very well. I have described to friends as L4D meets TC The Division. I like the character progression and believe they did a good job. Especially for a game that came outta nowhere. It caters to your style and let's you progress in your own way. I play as crowd control, and love that 50 round auto shotgun. It is a meat grinder. I give this game two thumbs up.

dylan trentin yes sir the reason for Hawaii is because it played a large part in the book and also we have two city like episodes and one frozen and one desert episode but no tropical one so that will fill in for that. and the horde mode will be called surge
I'm not a huge fan of the Multiplayer thus far, but the campaign is really fun. Perhaps when they add more modes to Multiplayer I will find it more appealing. It is SLIGHTLY grindy, but not too terribly bad. Perfectly worth the mid-range price to play with friends. The AI is really cool and the vibe is both mellow and intense. If you're unsure, wait a few weeks and save 25% in the inevitable digital sales. Easily worth a 7.5-8/10 stars.
Pvp is cool until u match ppl with all perks better equipment or a team that camps an team shots u whole game or the constant disconnects that have u lose all progress xp it quickly becomes cancerous
Here 4 years later now that it’s on GamePass. Blows my mind this game is 4 years old. I have not once encountered any lag or slowdowns, frame rate drops, etc. and that includes when are swarmed with hundreds of zombies. I’m impressed
You HAVE to play it at least on very hard if not insane - i had an absolute blast with a couple of friends and the challenge is unforgiving but still fair and managable, IF all act as a team! The Devs promised a roadmap within the next couple of days and all updates will be FREE!
Same, i got it for free in EGS, didn't think it is good but appeared to be not bad. I adore levels set in Russia. The russian characters also look very much like russians do, especially the girl - she just straight up reminds me of home. Was actully having a little extra fun playing as a medic during first rounds - new players don't get how stuff works and patching them up feels good. But I do agree that progression feels rather numb. Still better than it is in L4Ds... Cuz... There is pretty much no progression. Achievments at best.

I don't think people understand how much of a cool thing DLC and updates are. It's obvious when publishers cut corners and deliver an empty game; This game is not part of that equation. As a 23 year old Left 4 dead veteran that’s been itching for L4D 3 …I can honestly say this game does a dam good job of bringing a content feeling that I’d get playing the the first L4D. B4B doesn’t even come close. If only they upped the horror elements just a tad bit 👌🏿
A really interesting thing for World War Z would be if it was modeled like the book, like you played through multiple scenarios of multiple people, just like how the book isn’t centered on one person, rather a collection of people
Just played about 4 hours on normal and only have Tokyo left. Tons of replay value tho with all the classes options and difficulty. Can’t wait to run quickplay missions with randoms or friends.

iSuRRendeReDuK L4D2 is a great game. I’ve put numerous hours into it on Xbox and Pc when it released. WWZ is just as fun too. It makes the changes that I feel we’re needed for a 2019 version (classes and some customization) along with difficulty. Watching the video a second time actually makes me want to get on and play more. If you haven’t played it and you like L4D2 then seriously give it a try. If not or you’re not about it then stick with L4D2. Both are great games imo.
I have 2 serious issues, needs more campaign content, and needs some bug fixes. My team shut a door in my face once, there was no other way through, no zombies on my side, and no way to re open the door so we had to restart. Other than that, the game is seriously a fun time with friends, it's totally worth the 40 dollar price tag.

Needs more levels/locations. AI needs improvement. Bug fixes. Improved customization Workshop would be a huge plus. More modes for multiplayer. That's all I can think of to improve the game.

Kept for 2 days and returned. It’s really fun...until you play the same few maps over and over with no variation. Not much incentive to grind either. Fun for a bit but replay ability was low for me
As a huge L4D fan this game has me hooked and for 40 dollars theres a good amount of progession. Content is just below average but has replay value. PvP is ok needs some work but overall its worth the price imo
Ive had a mission where im escorting a V.I.P and protecting him when he is breaching doors but after he breached the 1st door he just stood there and we where confused while we waited for 10 min with swarms coming at us.We figured out its a bug in the game after we restarted the whole mission over

spoiler alert: they added more chapters and extra episodes for Russia and Japan, and there's a new Chapter in Kamchatka which is the continuation of the Japan crew
For a moment I saw the health bar and thought: "Wait.. is this a Ubisoft game? Thats just like The Division's". But then saw the minimap and: "Oh. Destiny."
4 years later, the game is pretty great, and fun. But… The matchmaking needs work, the game needs to iron out some very minor bugs, and there NEEDS to be voice-chat added to the game because it is actually impossible to play horde mode without your teammates being able to hear you.

Two things that bothers me about the game is no first person and no jumping, I like hopping around for fun, and I like seeing through the sights more properly and the overall feeling of being immersed into the game

I just bought this game for PS4 brand new at Wal-Mart for only $5.00. I never heard of this game before, but that price made it MINE. I also bought Ghostbusters Remastered for $5.00 as well. Two great deals.

Thanks for an honest review dude, this was right on the head with how i felt with the game as well. I searched up reviews on google and a lot of different critics are giving it 4/10 and 6/10..... it had a REALLY rough launch but that does no project the actual fun and quality this game offers for just 40$. I have been hooked on this game since launch and i sincerely also hope that mad dog studio keeps on supporting the game. My overall score is a 7.5/10 as is.
I never got to play l4d. Was really sad cause I've seen let's play and such and always thought it to be fun. Then I saw a WWZ let's play and was like I need this. I got it and not disappointed. Prob sunk about 50 hours into it already. It's just fun. The only problems I have with it is that I wish there were more levels which might come in the future, I play on Xbox and I think there's alot of achievements they could have added. Other than that I love playing this game, working on the achievements to upgrade all weps and buy all the perks in the game. Helluva grind especially the perks but I'll have fun doing it.
1. MULTIPLAYER SURVIVAL (like defend in one spot never ending till all dieing 2. Pvp like L4D player survivor vs player zombies 3. More zombie types 4. More zombies
Wish they have an armor system and matchmaking like in Division 2. The AI is pretty smart and dependable, especially when you're pinned down, but not too smart to help you with main quests such as flipping switches.
Add workshop mods like L4D2 and let people go crazy and it’ll be the best zombie game of that style out now.

Devs has stated that a Road map for WWZ is coming in the near future which I imagine means more content.
It has the potential to become a real Co-oop zombie classic if supported well by the devs! Can't wait to see the Roadmap!

@@davidinass After playing for a bit, I think $30 would have been perfect, but even then it's still a great game for the price. I don't think people understand how much of a cool thing DLC and updates are. It's obvious when publishers cut corners and deliver an empty game; This game is not part of that equation. Look at Anthem and then look at this game and tell me if you see a difference.
As a 23 year old Left 4 dead veteran that’s been itching for L4D 3 …I can honestly say this game does a dam good job of bringing a content feeling that I’d get playing the the first L4D. B4B doesn’t even come close. If only they upped the horror elements just a tad bit 👌🏿

iSuRRendeReDuK L4D2 is a great game. I’ve put numerous hours into it on Xbox and Pc when it released. WWZ is just as fun too. It makes the changes that I feel we’re needed for a 2019 version (classes and some customization) along with difficulty. Watching the video a second time actually makes me want to get on and play more. If you haven’t played it and you like L4D2 then seriously give it a try. If not or you’re not about it then stick with L4D2. Both are great games imo.

I have 2 serious issues, needs more campaign content, and needs some bug fixes. My team shut a door in my face once, there was no other way through, no zombies on my side, and no way to re open the door so we had to restart. Other than that, the game is seriously a fun time with friends, it's totally worth the 40 dollar price tag.

Kept for 2 days and returned. It’s really fun...until you play the same few maps over and over with no variation. Not much incentive to grind either. Fun for a bit but replay ability was low for me
L4D is fun because of the noobs. They make it fun.
Plus, don't forget all the vocalizers and anime mods lol.
As a huge L4D fan this game has me hooked and for 40 dollars theres a good amount of progession. Content is just below average but has replay value. PvP is ok needs some work but overall its worth the price imo

I ran into minor issues with the zombies but nothing that will hurt overall game play
Ive had a mission where im escorting a V.I.P and protecting him when he is breaching doors but after he breached the 1st door he just stood there and we where confused while we waited for 10 min with swarms coming at us.We figured out its a bug in the game after we restarted the whole mission over

4 years later, the game is pretty great, and fun. But… The matchmaking needs work, the game needs to iron out some very minor bugs, and there NEEDS to be voice-chat added to the game because it is actually impossible to play horde mode without your teammates being able to hear you.

Thanks for an honest review dude, this was right on the head with how i felt with the game as well. I searched up reviews on google and a lot of different critics are giving it 4/10 and 6/10..... it had a REALLY rough launch but that does no project the actual fun and quality this game offers for just 40$. I have been hooked on this game since launch and i sincerely also hope that mad dog studio keeps on supporting the game. My overall score is a 7.5/10 as is.

I never got to play l4d. Was really sad cause I've seen let's play and such and always thought it to be fun. Then I saw a WWZ let's play and was like I need this. I got it and not disappointed. Prob sunk about 50 hours into it already. It's just fun. The only problems I have with it is that I wish there were more levels which might come in the future, I play on Xbox and I think there's alot of achievements they could have added. Other than that I love playing this game, working on the achievements to upgrade all weps and buy all the perks in the game. Helluva grind especially the perks but I'll have fun doing it.

Wish they have an armor system and matchmaking like in Division 2. The AI is pretty smart and dependable, especially when you're pinned down, but not too smart to help you with main quests such as flipping switches.
