In a country with no history of fast bowlers, in a system that didn’t know how to produce fast bowlers, a fast bowler was born. In a country that never produced world class all-rounders, an all-rounder was born. In a country that didn’t know how to win, a World Cup was won. That’s the legend of Kapil Dev.

Kapil Dev wrote poetry with the cricket ball. He was a genius in an era when cricket alone mattered in the game. The man is such a modest gentleman. Hear this interview, read the other articles about him.....much ink has been spilt about him; and through it all he has been a thorough gentleman. I resonate with the vibes of the nation and the cricket-world and say ‘we are proud of You and your shoes are so unique that it’s difficult to fill”.
One of the greatest men cricket has ever produced. His 175* when India were fumbling at 17/5, one of the greatest ODI innings of all time. He taught an underdog team how to stand up to the mighty West Indies team of the early 80s. And with the ball he picked 434 wickets, stood as the highest wicket taker for so many long years... And yet so humble and genuine. Simplicity of the great man.

Same with me. But I also used to read 'Sports World'.
It's sachin ganguly kumble laxman sehwag who change indian cricket but it's kapil and gavaskar who give these guys a reason to stand and eventually kapil and gavaskar put the foundation of great indian cricket unknowingly.
Paaji ne bol diya to like to banta hai.. I wish the interview was longer.. pleasure to hear wisdom from the greatest cricketer this country has ever produced.. loved the episode 👍
Kapil sir believes that Sachin has much more talent than he performed 🧐. This shows sachin's greatness as well as kapildev's😍
@Karan Tekchandani Don Bradman also praised Sachin.
Dravid next... 🤘🤘👍👍 Love the shows. Awesome.. and its so nice to feel so many more to come. Keep it up you rock 🤘
Such a sweet guy! Had to manage both a cartoon like Srikkanth & a serious pro like Sunny. So touching to see him bond with Binny & find a friend in him well after retirement. Great interview!
Cartoon 😂😂😂😂. Yeah right
I am unfortunate that not able to watch him live playing!
You are the legend Sir!
They way kapil sir talking it's just smooth ,warm, gentle!
What a gentleman!
I have tears in my eyes. Such a humble man. Love him
The acoustic background score is the best one till date.. bhai pura retro ambience Bana Dia.
Beautiful interview. I would like to see,
Dravid, Sidhhu ji, Shewag, Dhoni etc ppl on the show
Kapil Dev and his 83 world cup squad changes the definition of Indian cricket team.
After this
True meaning of HOPE comes in
And to mention
Cricketers like Sunil Gavaskar ,srikant, Ravi shashtri
And all other team players of that era
They all were fantastic and they literally enjoy cricket.
Amazing episode Oak tree sports.
Simple, Charismatic and true sportsman Mr Kapil Dev ❤❤
I love kapil dev, Amazing attitude, and so honest and clear in his thought, My respects are even more higher for Kapil Dev
You are our true champion Paaji. Have never seen you play live sir , coz i was not even born then but you are always our legend. You gave generations of Indians motivation and confidence to be successful and become champions in life.
Kapil Dev: The greatest all-rounder of all time. 🇮🇳🇮🇳 Hope India repeats the history of 1983 and 2011 and make us the World champ🇮🇳🇮🇳❤❤
One of the best eposide to see Kapil Paji in ur interview, thanks Bro to have Sir in Breakfast with Champions. I havn't saw him playing but he is a very gentleman person .
Kapil Paaji has always been our hero. My childhood memories were filled with pride because of him.
Kapil Dev always has a swag in his personality..... when I was a kid ... I never had Curly hair.. my teeth are straight ... but I used to try to make my hair curly ..and always try to keep my uuper lip in a way so that my teeth r shown and try to imitate Kapil bowling action while playing cricket.... I used to (and still) admire him so much.... and I still like his smile....
And man I always wish, there was a recording of his 175 runs.....
Dear GK, you are such a lovely host! Loved how you let Kapil sir talk and you just chipped in here and there. A true fan listening to the idol and letting others listen to the idol. Cannot wait for gentleman's episode next week! #DravidianforLife
Undoubtedly Kapil paaji's 175* is still the best innings ❤️👏👏
Sadly we couldn't witness it as on that day all media persons are on strike
Kapil paji ka dhyan pure Desh ko Rakhna chahiye. Aise log Baar Baar nahi aate......🙏🌺we want his guidance in all fields of life....for hundreds of years
When I first heard that cricket is a true gentleman game and the image i replaced with this marvellous kapildev a true humble and yet talented. I personally learnt how to behave with others respectfully. Thank you paaji for your gestures and humility will be remembered for ages.
