In conversation with Gaurav Kapur, Brett Lee takes a walk down memory lane and talks about his long-term affair with India.

The 3 punches to the ground celebration is my favourite Childhood memory of Brett lee.
Hanging out with Gaurav is therapeutic to this players. It allows them to de-stress and vent-out all the anecdotes and memories they have been holding, that they wish to be sharing someday. Breakfast with champions creates that zone and provides that positive space for them to get rid of all inhibitions. Garry Kirsten, Brett here, and most that have featured have craved for interview last long in the end.

Growing up, Brett Lee was one of the foreign crickets that I admired the most.

As an ardent Indian fan, I must confess it did feel bad sometimes when India played Aus, as they beat us a lot in the early 2000s (even when we had a good team) but I hugely admired a lot of Australian cricketers (such as Lee, Hayden, Gilchrist, Warne) and feels great to hear from them now.
Wow. This is the first time I'm seeing Gaurav sooo Awestruck in an interview. Gaurav literally has so much admiration for Brett that you can see the stars in his eyes.
The moment when he says it felt like he got a knife stabbed in his ankle when he was bowling shows you the dedication and determination which an athlete has for his country. They can suffer any pain and do anything to make their country win. Just hats off to them for such passion
