Chromie is probably not only my favorite dragon but also one of my favorite characters in the lore. I really appreciate the fact that she gets confused about when it is, and is absent minded but also feels like a good friend and powerful ally.
My bet is still on that Nozdormu in DF legacies ch2 is looking for that time period wich Aman'Thul did hide on purpose from him. And that revelation opens Nozdormu's eye about the titans and their plans wich leads him voluntarily accepting the void's gift to replenish his depleted state in order to wage a desperate crusade against the timeline that he once so keenly tried to protect.
That would be epic. It really seems like they are bringing wow to a close, wrapping things up for either a sort of reset so we can start over with new characters and stuff, or more likely just shutting it down to replace it with something new. The game ending with us fighting the titans who turn out as the ultimate villains would be awesome.
The nightborne: if they hadn't allied with the legion, they'd've been wiped out... BEFORE we could help. Allying with the legion bought them time. It is arguably still the only path that let them survive. Maybe they'd fight back and win or hold long enough for us to help. But then maybe arcanist would've died and no one would make the tree and they'd all wither. Just keep in mind that at the end of the day: they allied with the legion. And they survived.
Unless I'm reading too deeply into things, when Nozdormu says "so it goes," he's making a reference to the same line from Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse Five novel.
Thinking about the Mag’har allied storyline- if there’s ever a light/void expac down the line, I’d love to see a return to Draenor in a patch where Yrel is an end boss of a return to Shattrath raid. Patch zone could be the Ogre island in the southwest that was planned but never made. That island could be untapped or something, and we ally with the ogres
There's also the fact that Draenor is a planet, probably around the size of Azeroth (as gravity functions exactly the same there), which means there are definitely more continents that we simply have never explored. There could be tons of new lore for Draenor.
So we got all the core dragonflights. Can we get an in depth one on the Infinite? I feel like there’s more to their story than what’s covered in the Bronze video 😊
I will wait for your Dragonflight recap lore, even tho i will play the game, i always miss some hints, story, or maybe easter egg. And your video will be there to keep me on the track. 😂
i often look back to end time dungeon logs. Baine turning to the dark side, the fall of Sylvanas, Tyrande, and even Jaina. some of these have come to pass like when Tyrande gave up on her night warrior powers, Sylvanas left in the maw, Jaina reuniting with her family to come out the other side a better person. Baine has been tested, but we have yet to see how far he might go if he continues to lose the ones he loves, and if anyone has the power to make the end time a reality its Murozond. It's often on the path to avert one's fate that they meet it.
Sorry Nobble. Since we'll be talking about time we need an expert. Oh Ms. Minutes... Good overview. I might bring up Zidormi since we run into her to pop back and forth on some zones. Also getting Martin Sheen to voice Nozdormu in Cata. Not looking like he'll be back for Dragon flight. Chromie's visage is a new bit of lore for me. Sounds a lot like Quetzalcoatl still kinda cool.
I'm actually ok with the infinite dragonflight being created by an ontological paradox, and being done away with by another ontological paradox, which means Nozdormu's death never happened. He did say his vision changed after that. It sounds like a cheesy way to do away with a plot line, but I've seen stuff like this in Doctor Who before. I actually like ontological paradoxes.
I just had a thought here. Now, if there can be only one true timeline, and thus, everything happens as it is meant to, any and all changes made would diverge off and eventually be erased somehow? If so, it reminds me of that scenario in Futurama. "A time duplicate is always doomed!" Shouted the Professor in a fanatical rant. If anyone else reading this has watched, they know that it turned out to be true. In the case of Hermes' body and the version of Fry, who's alias was Lars at the time, who didn't travel to the future from the year 2000. When he learned this alternate Fry decided to sacrifice himself instead of waiting for the inevitable. Anywho, that would be a way for Blizz to play just having Grom die in the Mag'har Orc unlock scenario. If he was going to be doomed anyway, might as well go out the Orc way. Of course, that to would mean alternate Draenor would soon be fudged as well, but thats for another time.
Not even Nozdormu knows the future, many timelines there are. He sees many, but has to calculate them all. One little thing can change it, and he knows that. We were only shown a snippet. The future is written in the present by the actions we take.
I'm still under the conclusion that the real enemy is the titans themselves as they are known to lie and that nozdormmu saw a glimpse of that which he wasn't supposed to see
Do you know any lore on the other dragonflights? Or, more specifically, which each color of the Dracthyr represents? I can infer some of them like the sand-colored one, but it would be cool to hear (if there are any) established lore behind the other colors.
for your first question, nobbel has a video on each of the 5 dragonflights. In a nutshell what we know about the Dracthyr is that they were created by Neltharion, the previous aspect and leader of the black dragonflight. Later known as Deathwing. He combined the essence of dragons with the adaptability of the mortal races to create a race of ideal soldiers. Dracthyr are not dragons. The colors of each dracthyr pretty much mean nothing, but the Dracthyr can use a little bit of the 5 dragon aspects' powers. The colors of the dragons do indicate what flight they belong to and roughly what they abilities are. Neltharion fashioned the Forbidden Reach off the coast of the Dragon Isles to serve as the dracthyr soldiers' training ground, but after a terrible battle, the island laid dormant and abandoned for ages. Recently, however, the return of an ancient enemy caused the dracthyr to stir, and they now seek to forge their own path in Azeroth by joining both the Alliance and the Horde.
@@Zamix69 Hmm, all that makes sense; but why would there be different colors? Like, wouldn't it be anti-productive to create these soldiers with anything but the black dragonflight color? Sure, maybe spies with the same color, but purple? Sand? There are clearly other color dragonflight (not just the aspects), where is that lore located? Or is it unwritten?
@@DKPstudios you can watch the Dragonflight story videos on Blizzard's youtube channel if you haven't already. It's all pretty new stuff. I believe when they were created by neltharion he wasn't completely corrupted by the old golds and experimenting to make a race of evil. I believe the Dracthyr were created with pure intent to defend the dragon isles and possibly azeroth as well but as we see in the latest episode of the Dragonflight stories on youtube, Neltharion discarded them. For the colors I'm pretty sure its a mix of all dragonflights so all colors are available. I'm not sure if say a green dracthyr has more of an affinity with the green dragonflight, my guess is no. lastly if you want to know more I would just google Dracthyr lore. I'm sure there are some stuff you can learn from websites to videos on youtube
There is a problem with true time lines and what is supposed to happen. You can’t fool time. Time travel in the time line is supposed to happen, everything that happens if someone goes to the past or the future was already in the time line. “Changing” timelines and events is just a ploy to get you to do what they want and what was already going to happen
Why is this Bronze(Copper, tin + somethimes many others ontop, very complex.) dragonflight, not prime metal like Gold? Not another alloy like Brass(Copper Zinc)? All other are chromatic prime colors, this is metal and alloy of two metals. I find this very perplexing.
These videos are fine but what's the point of dragonisles? I still do not understand why this expansion exists or is happening other than they have ran out of ideas
They're not out of ideas, even if the ones they have aren't particularly good. Blizzard actually wanted to include the Dragon Isles in vanilla WoW, you can look up unfinished assets for it yourself if you're interested. I guess it was scrapped due to time constraints. Many players wanted to be able to explore it, and we're finally getting it.
Then that shows you haven't been part of the community much. A few youtubers talked about how people wanted an expansion or story about dragon isles for awhile now since it was considered myth before. Also maaaaany people wanted to see the future of the dragons after everything that happened with them. Plus now with their goal of no longer making individual expansion stories and instead connecting all future expansions under one story, that means a lot of plots can finally be explored. Now with all that said, who knows what will really happen. This just what they said and have yet proved to show, however im willingly to see what happens even if I don't play.
Why didn't Blizzard make all races able to be evokers? Then you can pick which race is your visage like the other dragons. I would trade the scales and hair dye to be able to pick my race for our visage...
Yea good point. I think they just wanted to have more unique model though to show ability of design team. Undead should also be able to pick certain different races, since it's weird the only undead you can be is human undead. However the company doesn't care too much about the lore to actually think of these things and that's because big part of player base couldn't give a crap lol.
We need a full video on Lor'Themar Theron.
