Wow. Impressively defined 2b/3b curls! I have fine 2b wavy curls & have been trying to get this type of outcome. While some of the products mentioned are too heavy for my super fine hair, overall there are great tips here. That brush twirl twist trick is genius!
If that is the case for you, I would recommend Not Your Mother’s instead of Shea since it’s heavier. Right now I’m on the hunt for products for my hair which is also 2b/2c/3a curls and Shea Moisture is too heavy. I love the shampoo, but the styling products is a no for us fine hair girls.
thank you for showing us this!! i always have a hard time using the denman brush. i honestly think your hair is definitely curlier than 2b. i'm guessing you felt pressure to say that because of all the gatekeeping in the curly hair community 🥲
Ofcc!! 🤍🤍thank you for your comment ngl yes I had felt this way for a long time because I felt like my hair was not curly enough to be a considered a certain pattern.
@@Victoriagabriela i have almost the same hair as you, maybe a bit looser (due to my very long hair), and I'm considered 2c with some 3a so I'd say you're for sure a solid 3a
My hair is more of a 2b,2c and I use to straighten my hair everyday in high school so it’s less wavy. But I love your videos very helpful☺️💞hopefully I can restore my waves a little more.
Hi! I just wanted to come back to this video to say that this totally changed my routine for the better! I had given up on ever having consistant curls in my type two hair because the denmon brush didn't work for me when I tried. Now i have beautiful big and lose curls that look like I used a curling wand! Thank you!!!!
I personally love the shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie, it was the first product I used when I started my curly hair journey back in 2010, I don't understand the whole cancel shea moisture movement, or why people say it changed, it still works the same as it did the first time for me and is one of the products that I keep going back to, especially during winter

@@Victoriagabriela Really?! Oh my it looked so similar. The original is so expensive, that's the only thing that had been holding me back. Me too, I'm gonna get it soon
I have denman brush and wavy hair, I think a similar brush would work for the twisting technique. I twist it a different way though. There’s lots of RUclips videos on it. The one good thing with denman brush is you can take some rows out which might work better but a cheaper brush should work fine
I love that Shea Moisture shampoo, conditioner, smoothie. I have 2 daughters who are biracial and have a mixture of 2C and 3B hair, and it helps to make their curls so beautiful with little to no frizz. I used Mixed chicks for kids for a couple years which worked great at first then, but stopped working so well for some reason. Love your hair routine and results you/hair look beautiful, I'm gonna have to try this out with my girls.
Omg yes I love this because we have the same curl pattern!! I think your hair is 2b/2c/3a, because people with 2b/2c usually have hair that looks more wavy than curly, but yours is definitely curly! Your hair is so long and beautiful. An absolute dream!! I used to love the two curl creams that you used, and I'd mix them together exactly like you did, but I recently realized my hair is protein sensitive and super prone to protein buildup because it's so fine, and the protein in those two products was drying it out and ruining my curl pattern. It's been so hard to find products that don't have protein in them!
I have protein sensitive hair too! Did you find any good products? I want to wear my natural hair now but I don’t know how to deal with the frizz ;( a lot of products I try are too heavy on my hair and it ends up looking dirty/oily
Wow…i THOUGHT i was a 3A, but, now that i see your curls, i know i’m a 2B/C…Will try this though…Maybe i can get the 3A curls that way!! Thanks so much!

Well you sold me on buying a denman brush. I have 2C/3A hair. Most 2C. I like the look of that but sometimes want more of a defined look. Have you tried this technique without blow drying? I don't heat style my hair much.
Weird request but can you show us how your hair would look if you blow dried it normally/let it air dry without using any products on your hair? I want to see the difference because I've got super curly dry hair and I've tried different products; literally nothing works and it gets so frizzy. I'm thinking of getting a diffuser but idk if it'll work
I suck at keeping my hair looking nice. I don't buy my own conditioner cuz I'm not old enough to drive, and I never know with beauty products and stuff like that cuz I never buy them, but this was very helpful in what I should buy! I really liked this video, and maybe I'll go to school without looking like I have a rat's nest for once!
You have beautiful hair! But I’m so confused because your hair curls in ringlets.. it looks like it’s mostly 3a to me ! Majority of the 2 range hair looks a bit more wavy but filled with volume and amazing bounce! But your hair forms beautiful ringlets! Regardless awesome video! Thank you
I never diffuse. I'm an air dry girl. I'd love tips for air drying. I think it leads to frizz but i don't have the time or patience to diffuse. You have gorgeous hair!
@@alizaace if you wanna prevent frizz when air drying you can try wrapping a silk or satin scarf around your shoulders, so you shirt doesn´t give you frizz :))
Hi love! I'm about to try out your routine today! I mix of this and a mix of India's daily routine. I would love to see what your hair looks like without this routine, au natural! Or even just without the brush routine when you don't have enough time. Do you have a video like that? If not, please consider doing one!! (:
Hii, I usually always diffuse since I have high porosity hair it takes so long to actually dry. But if you want to air dry I would suggest plopping then let you hair air dry! That works for a lot of people from what I have seen. I hope I was able to help ❤️
This looks good but I have one major question. I style my hair normally and it looks so defined and frizz free, but when it dries it looks very frizzy and undefined! (Usually when I plop it) What can I do?
this is what i want my hair to be like. i’m wondering if i can possibly have curly hair because my moms side of the family have curly hair, my aunt has very coily curls and so do my uncles. but my mom has wavy straight hair and my dad has straight hair.. mines just wavy but yeah. does the gel get crispy ? because your hair looked soo bouncy and nice and the curls got big and nice too after the diffuser 😍
There is a possibility to enhance the wave/ curl pattern that you have ! No this gel doesn’t get crispy which is why I love it. My curls also don’t start from the root of my head it’s more toward the bottom end which is normal! Everyone’s hair is different. Also I have found that plopping has helped with my hair pattern. I hope this helped !! 🌟❤️
i love this video omg finallly just started my hair curly journey i have the same pattern and a couple of 3as lol will def start watching your videos !!!!!!
my hair is just like yours when it is wet and then i add product to it, and it just ends up being like 2a and 3a-3b underneath. I used to straighten my hair sometimes without heat protection. What is my hair type?
