What type of tshirt do you use? & do you wet the top of your head until it’s almost soaking wet? I realized I got frizz once when I didn’t wet my hair enough. But since I figured out why it hasn’t happened & you need to make sure you put the tshirt correctly. But everyone’s hair is different so maybe your hair prefers to not be wet plopped 💕
Alexa’s Curls i always use a random cotton T-shirt the second I leave the shower... i think my hair is really sensitive to any form of touching it, so I think I just won't poop anymore. But I'm still trying to fight the frizz 😫 I ordered two new gels today because I think I use too much leave in and not enough gel. Fingers crossed it will work 🤞🏼
I struggle with frizz too but I feel like it's been a lot better since I've realized I wasn't putting enough product in my hair. I have lower porosity, so I was afraid of things weighing down my curls but I think my hair is also kind of coarse and really dry. I'm still working on it, but just putting more product has helped me.
@@piabollenbach2792 maybe you have an inbalance between moisture and protein. Analyse your hair, how does it look. Is your hair very fine and more porose? Is the frizz very soft or more corse? Do you see a little more breakage lately or not. That and the kind of frizz you got could be a sign of inbalance. I've got no inbalance, but more porose and fine hair, so my hair loses moisture very quick and I have to use a very light oil (flaxseed oil) to keep it in, to prevent frizz and after I dyed my hair, I give it an extra of protein once, maybe twice. Since I just look at my own hair and tend to it's needs, my problem with frizz has gone very low. Everyone's hair is different and a good balance is key.
Hi! Thank you so much. I didn’t accept my curls for like 18 years!!! I always used to straighten my hair. I hope you embrace them soon. It takes time & patience. Let me know if you need any advice. 💕💕💕
I've always straightened my hair and I'm glad I hadn't waited later. I'm lucky I found the right products and technique at 13 -- just recently! Curls are gorgeous.
I have a combo of those two curl types. But this diffusing routine works really well for me because my hair is medium to coarse and high density so it allows for a lot of parts of it to dry without frizz. 💕
Alexa’s Curls i have really thick hair and it’s a mixture of 2C and 3A but I find my hair is more Wavy at the top with coils at the bottom so i just wanted to try this for the full coily hair. ugh imma try this tn! you have beautiful hair btw 😍
hi, I tried this after watching this video. xD it def works and the curls were perfect!! just be aware, bc as you might see on my pic my type of curl is like 3c and it got REALLY tangled when I went to wash it. I might do it again just for a special event, bc I spent too long detangling. but if your curls are looser you can do it everytime you want.
Mimí TT omg thank you for that! i’m still hesitant because i recently dyed my hair light brown no bleach, but like i feel like it was too harsh on my hair bc i get like tight spiral literally coily curls here and there but they are like semi hard? and like the rest of my hair feels rough when it’s wet and without product when it dries it’s normal so i been scared to apply product recently 🥺😔 i still wanna try this tho
PS. Thank you for showing how you make your hair look this way!! You do a good job of explaining! I never could of imagined the steps to achieve that final beautiful result, but you make it doable by showing the steps, and the waypoints!! Thank you!!!
Definitely trying this combo. I’ve had this gel for a few months but couldn’t find a way to make it work. I love a cast but the gel gives me a cast for days. I think the moisture from the curl love cream it will soften the gel cast. 🤔
Hey! This gel is amazing. I love it so much. I guess it might be what you pair it up with? The moisture milk makes my hair extra silky before! And I like using Argan oil to break up the cast. Let me know how it goes ❤️
Girl your hair is super pretty ( i can see you have a mirror- so I'm sure you already knew 🤣) have you ever tried to freeze curl your hair? When you get out the shower, leave your hair damp, grab a handful of mousse.. bend over ( yes look at your feet) and while I the bent over position.. do that "scrunching" move you did in this video, and then flip back up ( like that beach Instagram sunset picture).. if you got excess water dripping.. your hairs too wet.. do not blow dry it after you freeze curl... If mousse is too wet- try aerosol hair spray after..
Do the smaller defusing attachments that come on a hair dryer (pretty standard, bumpy one looks the exact same just way smaller than hers!) does that smaller attachment work? I have insanely wavy hair but I’ve never once been able to make it curly other than letting it air dry and spiralling my finger around it but that just creates some curls that are straighter at the root. The only defined curls I naturally have without products or anything are along my back neck at the edge of the hair line and behind/in front of my ears. I’d love for all of my hair to be as spiralled. Ugh.
Girl your hair is absolutely stunning, I’m working now on improving my hair I did so much damage the last 20 years to it . I’m finally getting my curly wavy hair back .

Going to try your method. I am in a year trying to get my curls not to be frizzy and look shiny too. Your curls look beautiful! I have to section. I bought a den an brush but wasn’t sure how to use it.
My hair is super curly like yours (ringlets) but I can never get the top of my hair to curl much for some reason, only the bottoms ): what type of shampoo/conditioner do you use?? Sending love to you girl 💜
My hair is the same. No matter what I do, my roots won't hold any curls. So I just let them be straight and only curl my ends. It looks weird but I can't force my roots to curl if they don't want to 😅
What diffuser did you get? And I hope you enjoyed the video. This is just one of my diffusing techniques when I want my curls to be define and frizz free. I’m going to be posting my extra volume routine soon! 💕💕💕
OMG i wanna do this to my hair so bad but I feel like I would get annoyed with how much attention it draws. How do you wear your hair out comfortably without adjusting it 24/7???
Haha I understand so this routine is honestly something I don’t do every single washday. I do it specifically on days I want extremely defined & frizz free curls. & I usually wear a satin headscarf on my head. On windy and raining days I usually just hope for the best and sometimes tie my hair 💕
Alexa’s Curls I just found you and subscribed. You have such beautiful curls😍 I’m curious as to what they would look like without you doing this routine. Do you have a video showing that?
@@idektbh3298 Hi!! Thank you so much & welcome!! A lot of my recent videos I haven't been doing this routine. Plopping with a long sleeved shirt helps soooo much! I lay the shirt flat with the neck closest to me and just plop near the neck of the shirt, bring the bottom hem over my head and then cross the long sleeves around the back of my head (and over where the bottom of the shirt is now laying )and around to my forehead to tie!
The key here was not how you diffused. You comb coiled your hair. That's like fool proof curls because you literally reshape your natural curls. Hey Alexa!! Just a quick question for ya, I noticed you mentioned that you thought the orange marmalade a light to medium hold gel, but everyone I’ve ever heard talk about it says it’s EXTREMELY hardcore hold with a rock hard cast, where it’s almost difficult to scrunch out the crunch! I just didn’t know if they maybe they changed the formula or if maybe you were just light handed with it? Thanks girl, here for every upload!
Maybe I’m not using a ton of it?! That could be it. My hair is medium to coarse so that can another reason or maybe the Camille rose moisture milk helps soften it up? I definitely do get a medium to light cast when using it. It’s not hard to break, but another thing that I notice is my hair is a little softer on day 2 than it is on day 1!! ❤️the gel is amazing tho so if you haven’t tried it you def should. Thank you so much for watching & let me know if you have more questions 😀
I don't have but 1 hour to fix my hair in the morning. And I noticed I toss and turn all night which makes my hair very frizzy. Is there something I could put over my head to keep my hair from rubbing against the pillows causing my Curls to turn into frizzy mess?
Literally started watching your video to try to figure out how to not feel miserable when diffusing. ;D The results you get are gorgeous. I don't know if I have the patience.
Hii, I have a question. How do you keep your hair very voluminous and bouncy? I struggle with keeping my curls/waves bouncy. It only stays bouncy the first 10 minutes and then they go flat 😭😭😭 Loved your video and curls btw 😍😍😍
The type of curls I have is the same as yours, but only on the ends. It curls a maximum of 3 times at the tips, but the roots don't even have 2a curls. Why is this?
Sometimes we can have different curls types on our head. My hair doesn’t curl that much at the roots. It can but I need to style it a specific way. It might be that your hair is like that 💕 also you can try to apply less product at the roots sometimes that weighs it down
I love your brushing technique Ur curl clumps are smashing live that Do u thibk am gobna acheive that with 3c long hair ?? I don't have the Denman brush cuz it's not available in my country I'll try my best to get one I NEED IT
Melanie Milla hi! I have different curl patterns throughout my hair so I understand. I have a video on how to use the denman brush I find this technique useful when it comes to this ruclips.net/video/wpygr0PCaOc/видео.html let me know if you have more questions 💕
Beautiful curls, my hair is still sitting quite short because of shrinkage. Oils are one of my favourite things, I don’t tend to scrunch out anymore, I gently coat, and twirl whilst separating larger clumps
id love to try this, even with hair rollers too cause it kinda gives the same result and you can buy those hair dryer bonnets that you can attach to a hair dryer and its pretty good :D
Hey! You should read the ingredient list in the products you have and check if something might be triggering the greasiness. Also have you tried clarifying your scalp. There might be tons of product build up. Also dry shampoo can help in certain cases & don’t put product at your roots 💕
Omigosh i am sooo happy i found this, i cant find hair tutorials with people who have hair like mine, but then i found this one and i just love itttttttt hsbgjejf

Thank you! My daughter inherited her dad's family's side of curly hair. I have wavy, thin hair. It's been a journey trying to figure out routines and products. We just bought a diffuser and went in without even twirling/twisting her curls so it became a huge poofball 🙈🙊. Thank you so much for the tips! I hope it turns out as beautiful as yours.
So you shouldn’t scrunch with the diffuser? Do you recommend any really lightweight conditioners//gels/oils? Products don’t work for me because I have very fine 3a/3b curls. I always get frizz on top and not enough volume and ends get very dry. Thanks
I am so frustrated, I want to cry.... I followed your instructions but my roots are sooo straight, it's just hanging straight in front, only me ends curled. Please help me to get it the curl just little more closer to the root. I want nice curls not frizz
This is a completely different technique than I've ever seen!! Can't wait to try this tomorrow morning. Your curls are beautiful. It took me years to embrace my curls and I'm hopeful your technique works as wonderfully for me! 😊

Hii, I have a question. How do you keep your hair very voluminous and bouncy? I struggle with keeping my curls/waves bouncy. It only stays bouncy the first 10 minutes and then they go flat 😭😭😭 Loved your video and curls btw 😍😍😍
Thank you so much & im going to be posting a video tomorrow on the best ways I’ve found to achieve more volume and make it last! 💕💕
It might be that your hair is like that 💕 also you can try to apply less product at the roots sometimes that weighs it down
@@AlexasCurls I actually like it, it looks like it's been curled with curling iron. But I cannot understand why it does that. Thanks for the answer 💜
my hair frizzez even after i just washed it, why? also the back of my hair always looks terrible and idk what to do
I love your brushing technique
Ur curl clumps are smashing live that
Do u thibk am gobna acheive that with 3c long hair ??
I don't have the Denman brush cuz it's not available in my country I'll try my best to get one I NEED IT
I’ve had people with long hair send me their results and it comes out stunning! Thank you 💕
Hi don’t really know what to do because the back of my head is pretty much straight and the front is super curly do you have any suggestions?
Melanie Milla hi! I have different curl patterns throughout my hair so I understand. I have a video on how to use the denman brush I find this technique useful when it comes to this ruclips.net/video/wpygr0PCaOc/видео.html let me know if you have more questions 💕
thank you ❤️
Oh my gosh shes beutiful
You are so nice omg thank you :)
I aspire to have that level of moistute in my hair 😍
Haha you can def get it! It takes work. My hair can be dry like a desert! 💕
This video is soooooo helpful !
Thank you! I'm glad you find it helpful!!! :)
Beautiful curls, my hair is still sitting quite short because of shrinkage. Oils are one of my favourite things, I don’t tend to scrunch out anymore, I gently coat, and twirl whilst separating larger clumps
That’s awesome and I definitely love oils so much!!!!
Thank you so much 😊
Was i the only one that didnt know that we were suppose to break up the curls afterwards😭
Can you show us exactly how you twist the brush?? That has to be hardest part for me lol
Do you have low porosity hair? I have high porosity. It only takes 30mins for my hair to dry completely.
My hair is low porosity. It takes years for it to try so that’s why sometimes I need to do extra steps haha. 💕
I have that same shirt. It’s my favoriteeeee. Love the curls too! Lol
Thank you so much!!! 💕💕
id love to try this, even with hair rollers too cause it kinda gives the same result and you can buy those hair dryer bonnets that you can attach to a hair dryer and its pretty good :D
I feel like difuser is best for these kind of big curls , as for us girls with tight curls Airdrying is the best no matter whta method i tried
I fucking love your hair😍😍😍😍😍😍❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
HAHA “curls”.....
Those are straight up 🌈✨ C O I L S ✨🌈
BEAUTIFUL 🤩 im very tempted to stick my finger through a curl-
Kids, can anyone help out... How do you keep your head from going greasy from the products? My hair just goes horrible in 1 day :(
Yessssss! I’m so glad our hair is similar. Thank you 💕💕💕😀
O M G!!! GORGEOUS!!! Girl you have mad skills. Thank you for the video.
Thank you so much for watching. I hope this was helpful for you 💕💕💕💕
@@AlexasCurls it most certainly was. I even ordered a denman brush because of you. Thank you.
Jessica Reed awesome. When you get it let me know how it works for you!!!
Hi, love your channel. What hairdryer do you use by the way? Does the hairdryer fit the black orchid diffuser without falling off?
Hi thank you so much 💕I have this hair dryer from target and it doesn’t fall off. It fits perfectly. www.target.com/p/revlon-smooth-brilliance-ac-motor-styler-1875-watt/-/A-75557623
Alexa’s Curls thank you ♥️
No problem :)
Curls are sooooo much work. But girl you’re beautiful! x
Def so much work! Thank you 💕✨
I came here when we were about to reach 2k.... now its gonna hit 10 k.... I feel so happy for u
Awwwww omg thank you so much!!!!
Aye, I love the curls. May I please know the hair products you use as far as the creams & gels. 🌹🌹Thank you 😊
So you shouldn’t scrunch with the diffuser? Do you recommend any really lightweight conditioners//gels/oils? Products don’t work for me because I have very fine 3a/3b curls. I always get frizz on top and not enough volume and ends get very dry. Thanks
I've tried wet plopping many different times and it doesn't do anything for my curls
Wet plopping is def not for everyone so if it doesn’t work for you skip it 💕💕💕
So basically... You can't have beautiful curls AND a job
Omg hahaha. Def need to do this routine when you got time. But we all need a job!! 😭💗💗
WOW!....I WANT those ringlets!!! 😍😎🖒🖒💗💗
Do you have the 5 or 7 row denman brush?
I have both. In this video I'm using the 5 row!
@@AlexasCurls ok thank you
Trying this on my next washday
Very time consuming but nice outcome
Agree. I def need to put in time into my hair when I’m looking for specific things haha. Thank you :)
Alexa’s Curls It’s very beautiful though 😍
Julianne718’ thank you 💕
Thank you so much for this video, I learnt so much 🤗💜
this makes me so happy!! thank you for watching :)
Beautiful. But how long does this take? And how long it last that pretty?
Thank you so much. To try about 30-45 mins. Depends. It last me one week if I do this whole routine. && I have a night time routine on my channel 💕
Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!
Great vid, ty for blessing us with the technique!
Thanks!
It is like I am watching myself but better. Thanks for the tips. Did you color your hair?
I am so frustrated, I want to cry.... I followed your instructions but my roots are sooo straight, it's just hanging straight in front, only me ends curled. Please help me to get it the curl just little more closer to the root. I want nice curls not frizz
you probably would need more layers to your hair and if your doing ponies, ur probably brushing ur roots aswell so it ends up straight at the top
y'all wanna know how expensive my brush was...
only $2, haha got it at dollarama and it works awesome :)
Looks beautiful can I air dry this ?
Thank you so much & yes :)
oh i Love your beautiful hair stunnnning😍😍😍😍❤
Thank you so much 😊
How do you part your hair for volume
you sound so similar to my social studies teacher lol like your voice its crazy
Oh no!! Omg 😂🤣💕💕
This is a completely different technique than I've ever seen!! Can't wait to try this tomorrow morning. Your curls are beautiful. It took me years to embrace my curls and I'm hopeful your technique works as wonderfully for me! 😊
Thank you so much! I really hope it can works for you. If you need to modify certain things depending on your hair do that 💕💕💕💕
