As per new society law 51% votes are enough to proceed the redevelopment, hence our society after initial acceptance to go ahead with redevelopment they are not involving people who is asking clarity on terms and conditions with builder and trying to secretly do the agreement.
No builder gives more than 25% to 30% even though law says 35% on built up area and 15% additional for the building older than 30 years. BMC government courts do not entertain any applications and are already pro builders. Unless government stops giving the permission for redevelopments where free area given to existing members is 50%.
Any services available for the new flat physical inspection regarding area & other construction quality for new flat received in redevelopment in Mumbai ? Any inspection services ? Developer not allowed members to visit flat during construction work.

Single window clearances should be given for self redevelopment of housing societies within the stiplulated time. This will end corruption and delays.
