After the blower I had less air cooling, less delay, and not as good as a mixture. I had it backfire on me and it actually stuck the butterfly valve shut on the supercharger bypass. I recommend spraying before the supercharger but after the throttle body if possible. I used nitrous daily and I would literally merge onto the highway with nitrous because I was addicted to the acceleration and that's the setup that I had the less issues with.

What a great video! Sorry for asking questions in today’s live stream, looks like all my answers are here! What started as an lq9 ls swap is now a 408 stroker supercharger nos build…thanks to you Richard LoL hope to meet you and shake your hand and thank you for all your wisdom and help!

On EFI, do not spray MAF for IAT spark change, it will destroy the MAF. Put a resistor in line with IAT sensor or in place of IAT sensor that corresponds to a timing reduction that you set in the ECU tables via a ECU editing program such as HPTuners or EFILive. Use a relay or set of relays to bring about the correct perceived resistance for the required timing retard. It is possible to do multiple timing stages if you get creative with this type of system and DTCs can be avoided when done in the right way. I use 3 stages this way.

On the 2.0 Supercharged motor, 50 shot was fun. 65 shot was good. 75 shot started having traction issues, and 100 shot was just too much. If I could go back I'd just do a 50 shot for "normal" use and a 75 If I race or go to the track. Nitrous really does help with cooling on a Supercharged application where heat is your biggest enemy and even a small shot will help with cooling and you'll make good gains just by cooling your intake Air temps

Back in the early 90's when I added nos to a roots supercharger they said it can't be done and I will just blow up the engine and so would not let me run it at the drag strip..... Now it is a regular thing ....

I ran it through a throttle body spacer plate, directly through the m62 supercharger right before the rotor blades, and directly into the intake manifold right after the supercharger... The best results I got were directly into the supercharger right before the rotor blades

I had a Supercharged 2.0 Cobalt SS with nitrous. I've ran a 50 shot, 65, 75, and 100 shot. The car loved nitrous. The Iat2 temps were much cooler with nitrous and therefore "safer" with nitrous than without without

A friend of mine gave me a theory... To inject the nitrous before the supercharger so that it gets "mixed" in the supercharger and cools air. It worked very well. It didn't damage the rotors or anything like that. But. There was a delay. Once I turned on the nitrous there was a delay before it kicked in. It was at least 1k rpm or more from the time I activated the nitrous till the time it made it to the combustion chamber and I felt it.

I would like to see the distribution tests. Both On the nitrous and water meth pre turbo. Through a fauxgan vrs long runner on water meth distro test.

Because of the torque nitrous gives I like big cams example 4.8 I like 223-226 5.3 228-230 nitrous will give all the torque back

I've had a lot of luck injecting a 75 wet shot after the inner cooler and a 3 nozzle rail dry spraying on the coolers fins to drop intake temps. When you run a wet system, you can control your systems A/F with jets, air to air coolers don't work unless you're moving, nitrous helps a lot after waiting in-line at the track or in traffic. My question is, anyone using water/meth with nitrous. I know guys using water/meth on boosted Harleys to drop intake temps instead of inner coolers because of space. I was wondering if you could use nitrous and meth together?

I have a dumb question, what would happen if we put fuel injector before the throttle body to lower the charge air. Do you think it will make any difference or make power, or it has no effect?

that is what water meth does

@@richardholdener1727 I see, unfortunately in Canada its not easily accessible or even ethanol. I was just curious if it would even make a difference or it would be negligible using just gas. More stuff for me to research looks like.

@@clueless4wat322 from what i have gathered, injector setups this way dont give a power benefit, in fact the negatives of distribution and puddling come into play.
Carbs shear the fuel and atomize it finely, which pulls heat out of the air charge.
That cant be matched with efi unfortunately, only imitated.
Remember, heating the fuel before it enters the c.c. changes how the mix ignites, good or bad depending on the setup.
