    Terrible movie, crazy ass coaster.
    I haven’t thought about this one in a while, I remember the promotions for this one was out the roof. I only got to ride this one three times in my lifetime...Personally I didn’t find much of a difference between both tracks, you go so fast one hardly notices. Best aesthetic-wise as far as looks go.
    The worst time was when I lifted my head off up the coaster and the ride started, I got such whiplash I almost erased my identity.

  • @justice4all72
    @justice4all72 4 года назад +4

    Loved this coaster. I remember vividly when one day the always closed batman side was open around 2006 or 2007, it was such an achievement to finally experience that side. Robin side was better though overall I think from what I can remember. I miss hearing this one scream in the distance while walking into the park from the parking lot, it had such a unique sound. Tragedy all around.

    I remember riding this after they removed the shoulder harness. Holy stomach pain, Batman! Also, the legroom was nonexistent, and I, a 5'2" woman, had my foot wedged between part of the lap bar and the front of the car for the entire ride (which was beyond terrifying without shoulder restraints, in my opinion). If you wanna see some other really crazy stuff SFGA did, look up Free Fall and Lightning Loops.

    I have such vivid memories of this coaster. Biggest memory, really really long lines. Lol at the start of the line, my father and I had a choice. Batman or Robin. I wanted Batman, but the hight stick guy at the door said "Robin goes upside down more" and therefore a cooler ride, my father and I went on Robin. While on the line for Robin, an announcement was made over the loud speaker. "Unfortunately the Batman side of Batman and Robin: The Chiller is experiencing technical difficulties" so we were very lucky we picked the robin side. I was so lucky I was able to ride the robin side at it's peak with the corkscrews and everything. It was awesome

    Secondly, I was able to go to Great Adventure in 2008 and remember seeing part of the frozen observatory still in the park, going home that night and researching some of the history of the park and wondering what could have been. At least El Toro and Kingda Ka made up for this coaster's absence. (And I'll always have a soft spot for Great American Scream Machine and Nitro.)

    Great Video. Since you are on the Batman Topic. How about a History on the Batman Stunt shows throughout SixFlags.

    Yes I’ve been waiting for this!!! Thanks for finally making it 👍 thanks for the shoutout at 0:49 😁😁😁 also I’ve actually seen robin’s car at SFOT, my home park is SFOT and behind Titan there’s tons of cars there, and I saw a red mr.freeze car sitting there(at least I thought it was mr.freeze) until now with this video I know it’s robin car, so I may have actually ridden on robin’s trains on mr.freeze reverse blast

    That was the best coaster I've ever been on... And I've been a Batman and Robin

    Real shame they couldn’t fix up the kinks like they did on Mr. Freeze. Looked like a kick ass coaster!

    Bloated budget, performance problems, a headache inducing, disappointing thrill ride... sounds like the perfect adaptation of “Batman & Robin” to me.
