@@perseus1293 No buddy, that's not Metroidvania AT ALL. Talking to an NPC, talking to them again, and then again, and then getting 1 item and killing someone is not Metroidvania at all whatsoever, and it's horrible quest design. There's no nuance or creativity to it. The dialogue is always bland, the questline makes barely any sense, and it always ends on a stupid note where you just end up laughing.
Fromsoft almost never designs good quests. The few that they have come from Bloodborne.

These cut scenes are actually pretty cool
It was funny seeing this live and watching chat scream at Charlie that the dev had told him how to beat the invisible boss, but since they missed it, they kept copying and pasting his messages. Even better that Charlie ended up beating it on his own, and the dev said he had never seen someone take that many tries.

I hate games that are overly dark to try to be more scary but end up just being a pain in the ass to see anything. Dead Space is a good example of how to properly do low-lighting horror.

@@Bfkcjscbsnjc yeah charlie is becoming a bit too commercialized. I realized it the moment he did an ad for a payday loan company in one of his recent (about a month ago or so) videos. I think the company was Current. I agree and disagree about taking the videos down- this happens all the time on the internet and creators usually just post a new video (if ANYTHING) rather than take their video down, and it can still be harmful to that person's reputation if they never see the follow-up video. But that's not really specific to charlie, I'd say all of them do that
Gameplay is iffy but man the developer really had some passion when he was making the cutscenes for this game.
