@@spencernuzzi it made the shoe and I’m pretty sure the hemp ones were this model I had black and brown they lasted long too🤙 luckily I found a guy in my town that had like 14 pairs of nos Es’s from back in the day I bought them all 🤷♂️😅 I don’t think I’ll need skate shoes for a long time
I just got mine to replace the 20-year-old ones I've been destroying.
I remember wearing my ipath cats to Thanksgiving one year growing up. Stash pocket loaded ya know.

I love ipath! I could cry I'm so happy. Had maybe 20 pairs of grasshoppers, 10 pairs of cats and a pair of yogis
hell yea, so sick to see that these coming back is true. i had a pair of maroon and white grasshoppers back in '09 when i was going to automotive school, one of my friends got kicked out of the school and had to drive across the country back home and my shoes were in his trunk 😭 miss that stash pocket

This was my favorite shoe. The leather grasshoppers in brown.

sooo stoked to see Ipath comin back. i dont remember what kind it was, but it they were tan and with a nice gum sole around the bottom. it had some nice rasta laces, with the stash pouch inside the tongue. i had them for while, till i couldnt wear them anymore. im happy that they are making a come back like Fallen did. now i hope Circa can come back as well. bring back the OG cup shoes ❤ 👊
I had that same color and they were one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever skated in! I can’t wait to get another pair. It looked like yours had flat laces. Mine had oval ones.
I had some hemp grass hoppers back in the day, and they lasted forever

I looooove iPath and their video, I’m so glad that they’re coming back. Since Imma buy the Grasshoppers and a Hoodie from their site or my skateshop
I also got some Ipath stuff like a keychain, wristband, and a t-shirt, that came with STICKERS
It’s a Zumiez exclusive and they don’t even have a site. 110 for a grasshopper is comedy. Not the good kind

I am so stoked for the camel suede grasshopper. That is the only shoe next to the blue Lakai fades I could wear indefinitely. 110 is steep hopefully they do a gut check when they drop.
No way man, ipath coming back took so long that I only have 2 usable limbs left 😂 These shoes are true OG stuff, the shape and the weight and the height up on the ankle everything felt so secure. These and some super cheap Vox kept me going through all of middle school skating curbs and pissing off my neighbors. All hail the stash pocket though for real 🙌 These were some of my favs along with some of Westgate's old Emericas shaped more like running shoes.
Never rocked ipaths growing up I do remember them, but I think I might give it a go. These are pretty fresh
I had a pair in brown suede back in the day. Fantastic board feel and flick. The sole wore out way before the upper due to the soft rubber.

I’m hella stoked! I had a pair of the hemp grasshoppers first- and I didn’t even really smoke weed that much because of the cops in Oklahoma. High tops with the straps! Just dangling keeping the end of my pants up. Righteous! I also had a pair of the Matt Rodriguez vulcanized cats - the first skateable wallabe wtf. I just bought two pairs(1 grasshoppers 1 Cats) I need two pairs!
I also meet Matt Rodriguez at the CCS invitational where they did the car wash bank gap.

I had the Reed shoe back in the day. They were black. My friend had the brown ones and I had the matching hoodie. His brother had grasshoppers. Also occasionally I still wear an ipath t-shirt. It's tan and says, "follow your path" on it.

I couldn’t tell you how many pairs of ès and ipath shoes I skated from 00-09 (I think that’s when they both went out of business) and I remember going to my shop to get a new pair of grasshoppers it was a sad day when the shop said they went out of business. But through the year I kept watching the summer of 05 video and I was like you a few months ago when I saw the ads they were coming back. I didn’t believe it at first either until I saw Kenny Reed wearing is shoes and Matt Pailes getting a sample box. Already made the decision I will stop skating Nikes and only skate the grasshoppers and Reeds when they are fully back!
I know it was sad to see them go! And the 2005 summer vid was just so good! Hope u can pick up a pair soon!

@@spencernuzzi I just got into my head then. I always rode 149’s on a 8.75. Been in a truck crisis for the past year ever since I heard they are being made overseas. I do have a set on ventures I’m trying out tomorrow and if these don’t work then back to Indy it is. Thank you brochaco! 👊🏻

I grew up skating with two brothers where their parents owned that skatepark. Some suburb outside of Philly.

Grasshoppers were my shit!! I had a ton of pairs and some Kenny Reid’s, the last pair I skated were the tan all hemp ones with the red, yellow, and, green stitching throughout! 🔥🔥

Sick but the last thing we need is another core brand that just does retro / legacy models and doesn’t give anyone a new shoe. Hopefully they make enough money where they can give a younger pro a shoe.
The only thing I'm worried about is that the new ones don't come with big puffy tongues 😭😭😭

These were the “nike” of skate shoes. Idc what anyone says
$110 for an Ipath… 😂! I almost spit my drink out. What a shi**y price point. They better have updated the product because as a kid this shoe was dangerous. You needed a roll of duct tape to even skate in these because the materials wore down so fast. Even if updated at $100 plus, I’m going to say f that.
