I’ve also bought Rhude shorts and clothes personally because I like the designs, but just like he said, I didn’t buy again because the quality didn’t match the price. He hit it right on the head. I also tell that to friends who have asked about the brand and quality. Open to coming back but after they start improving quality
Oh I have something I'd love to see. 1. Always do 2 different products from every brand in a video to see if the whole brand sucks or maybe it was just one that got away. 2. Do all the classics. Armani, Gucci, Prada, YSL, coach etc. LOVED this video. It's so fun to learn all these things. Like you KITH reviews were good. I'm glad I buy that stuff (secondary market) cause they seem to put good effort and thought into their pieces. Never buying FOG or Rhude. Once I hit over 100 for anything but suits and coats, it better last.
Yes, quality control is very big when it comes to producing garments! Especially if you're selling swim shorts for almost $1000 CAD, there should be no room for error, as the price should match it's quality.
Yall need to add a review grade (for every brand) on whether or not the products are made by workers with fair pay or not. If I’m paying $150+ for a garment I’d expect employees to not be exploited, it’s almost a 100% guarantee that Rhude had children making their shit.

I have Rhude sweat shorts and a Rhude tee, not that they would be worth retail necessarily especially the shorts being like $550 CAD and the tee being over $430 CAD but they both seem to be good quality overall

i've been following Enfants Riches Deprimes since 2016 and that's about the only brand I can vouch for, they've gotten way better. (edit: they've always been very good, specially their leather and knitwear. just happens that they actually got even better).
@@MuriDa3rd Henri does exactly the same artifical scarcity rich kid demographic thing that Rhude does. ERD has improved significantly as a brand but i wouldn't say their clothes have gotten much better. their prices have also more than doubled since 2016
@@HellsMascot if we're talking about branding, than yeah, even though ERD does the same motifs, they've been doing things that are more and more artsy. fabric/manufacturing quality though, i really do think they've gotten better (and yeah, like you said, prices have doubled. they used to be on sale from time to time, now it's impossible). since they moved the manufacturing of a lot of their most delicated products to Italy, i've been hearing nothing but great things. also they've been sourcing their knitwear from loro piana for a long time now and that's just quality.
I admit i own a few pairs of his shoes, I found the leather quality to be good enough and I've really put them through the ringer but seeing this makes me really doubt other products from Rhude even if I'm not a fan.

Kolor is basic/minimalist? Feel like they dont fit that description but i still like them. I own a pair of kolor pants. They're not the best quality tbh. Full Poly with no lining etc. Would love to see a breakdown of the brands you mentioned
@@Bickenback-y9qI think kolor might be hit or miss, their more basic/minimalist semi permanent collection pieces are very popular in Japan, and from what I know they do develop their own fabrics. I do own a pair of cotton twill trousers and the quality is insanely good.

It’s never been about the material; it’s all about the name. Supply and demand! I don’t wear designer because I can get the same thing if not better for a fraction of the price. To each is own tho.
People pay for designer clothes for the name and to showcase what community they resonate with/belong to. That said, at this price point there is no reason for the product not to be near-prefect.

How much more would it cost to get patterns (such as stripes) to match across seams so that the pattern will be continuous? I've seen quite a few companies, even ones with good reputation like Gitman and Portuguese Flannel, fail to align the pattern (def not on purpose cuz it looks awful) at places like where the sleeve meet the main fabric body & where the pocket lays on top of the main fabric body. (censor my name if used pls)

im gonna say this from experience with working with company ceos and bosses in the industry they do not have experience in fashion most of them only took a business degree and expect the impossible the difference with peoples with experience from top to bottom in fashion jobs understand what it really takes to make the best garment ive worked as quality control inspector, production coordinator, sewing, cutting, pattern making and more and have a degree in fashion design ceos and bosses have 0 experience in clothing.

Rhude’s creator is infamous for adding luxury labels to low brand clothes and selling them. Once a scam artist always a scam artists.
