Appreciated the collab :) Also, I've thought about Yeezy x Fear of God collab almost at the same time you mentioned Vultures merch. Seems I'm a fan so keep them coming!
This was a phenomenal video. I grew up well below the poverty line, so now that I have some money to invest in quality pieces, I'm trying to learn about quality fabric and construction. dry cleaning is hard! and you're right sometimes its just easier for everyone except the dry cleaner to throw the blame on the drycleaner. had a gorgeous evening gown that my grandmother had sew in the 1960s-- dark forest green with a blackishblueish shift, embroidered, boned and strapless floorlength silk dress-- and it desperately needed cleaning, so we took it to the dry cleaners praying they could clean it without ruining it. unfortuneately whatever dye had been used for the dress fabric turned reddish brownish black-purple. mum was so mad, and it was a sad day for everyone. not like it would fit me anymore, made to fit a marilyn monroe-esque hourglass-- dress has like 34-23-36 measurements lol.
When I was a jnr buyer I kept wondering why my “fabric technologist” kept prescribing “dry clean only” then it hit me he was covering his ass from customer complaints, and to be fair to him, didn’t want the head ache that came with him impacting delivery. Glad to see you call out the wash care 👏
I don't see it as covering his ass. I see it as literally doing what is needed because the damn thing will fall apart if put in a machine! You can't wash this stuff for a much different reason than why you can't wash finer materials.
That's going to be interesting! Guys could you please do Iron Heart 25oz denim, their Ultra Heavy flannels or higher oz denim shirts. Is the quality really that legendary??
Fear of god mainline kinda confuses me. It's basically just the high end version of an overplayed aesthetic that can easily be had at a much lower price point.

Would love to see lady white co. They do made in the US (LA) cotten and I think they're really good quality for the price (sweats retail for $200? I think you can get them for $100-$150) which for manufacturing in LA and sourcing cotton from the US is quite nice. Would love to be proven wrong though.
Can you review Asket? Particularly their T-shirts. Their brand transparency is something I think resonates with your channel and I’d be interested in hearing your take on them.
Addicted to this show, love this series and Joe's personality. Greetings from Hong Kong. FYI, I can buy better quality reps off Taobao than the actual pieces themselves. Can we pls do more streetwear like Gallery Dept, ERD ($700 tees!)
I often buy more exspensive brands (not nenecessarily hype brands) on sale and outlet to get better quality. Videos on brands like this make me fear that was a waste of money. So i'm really looking forward to get reccomendations on brands
As someone who owns multiple pieces from various mainline collections, I can double down that the craftsmanship is a mess. I have had to repair almost every item I’ve bought after only a few wears, especially the eternal collection was a huge disaster. The lining on my almost 2k bomber jacket frayed after two wears. Luckily, their mainline stuff sits and makes it to the sale section, these sweatpants featured in this video made it all the way down to 300ish dollars Canadian on Ssense. I would be curious about Rick Owens Berlin sweats or Pod pants/shorts or any Rick Owens item in general. The clothes are all manufactured in house, in Italy. Love the content 🙏🏽
Could you guys to a review of any Reigning Champ piece (probably a core item e.g sweatpant, zipup hoodie)? Good local Canadian brand but having Aritzia acquire major equity a few years ago, wondering if the quality of their products has changed. They've always been solid for the most part, but can't help but think quality has come down a little
I would've docked these hella points for the color bleed as you're gonna stain any light colored shoes, tops, furniture, car seats, etc if you wear these... so a negative dollar value for ruining your other stuff.
I'd love to see you examine Linus Tech Tips' clothing, are they actually selling good clothing at a competitive price? I bought it because I trust the brand name, but admittedly I know nothing about clothing quality but they feel pretty well made. I'm wondering if its even worth spending more on clothes than they're charging because as an uninformed consumer I think its pretty good clothing and would actually like to see what a professional has to say to build a frame of reference when buying new clothing from other brands.
I bet they just lazily put "dry clean only" in response to construction failing complaints (like with the bad stitch design)--as opposed to putting an emphasis on actually making the construction durable on future models.
The fear of god you just dissected looks exactly the essential joggers I own (bought mine from nordstrom at a discount before they moved out of Canada). Without the brand label, you probably could not tell the difference between the Chinese and American made products. I agree that no one should buy these and only a fool would! Watching the journey to a 100k then to a million subscribers.
Love this content! I’d love to be able to see better some of what you’re describing though. If you’re taking apart a black garment, it would be super helpful if you weren’t also wearing black, lol.
Love your critique! Would also love if you’d wear a contrasting color sweater to the color of the garment being looked at, it was hard to see the details you were talking about against your lovely sweater!
You guys should buy something from Haven's in house brand. They're an authentic Canadian brand, making great stuff, with high quality materials and awesome cuts, and all made in either Canada or Japan. I'd love to see what you think of their stuff. Especially being a 🇨🇦 yourself!
Can you please do a deconstruction of the brand Kiko Kostadinov. A Luxury streetwear experimental Bulgarian brand that has (in my opinion) pretty good quality but Im not so good at spotting all the in depth constructions and features to see if its as good as people, including myself, say they are. Especially for tye price point I would hope the construction of the garments are of good quality. Hope to see a kiko video soon!
Another great video. Can you deconstruct Vuori's Strato tech tee or perhaps their Dreamknit fabric? Would love to hear your take on more Vuori items. Thanks Joe!
i would love a long real world test of using it and watching it......then comparing 1 wash -5 washes then 10 washes. and so on to see how fast they fall apart. if you want huge numbers do this with the temu fresh....sorry teddy fresh brand lol
The tag is a coated leather the centre is made with a composite leather, and if you burn something coated in plastic Ofc it’s not going to ash it will melt together as it’s all fused. Like mdf composite leather is also fused with some sort of polymer that will also melt. Basically it’s still leather just shit leather that’s highly processed
What an eye opening episode! Could you do some of the tailoring pieces from the collection 8? I think that’s what Jerry is positioning mainline future as. I would love to know if those pieces actually live up to their luxury appearance. Thank you!
Would love a Rick Owens prisoner pant review, or basically almost anything by them. A bunch of the brands products feels premium, on the other hand a lot of their essentials feel pretty terrible.
a year or 2 ago i bought a t-shirt from the fear of god main line, the 6th or 7th collection, and it has a very obvious stitching defect on the collar. It's sort of rolled over and not straight at all. That's my first an only experience with main line fear of god.
Love to see insights into expensive items like this for entertainment but no shot anyone watching is buying these lol. Would love to see breakdowns for items from lululemon and Patagonia.
This is almost exactly what I thought it would be like. It just feels like one of those "oh the fancy brand" purchase some people do for status. Which to me, indicates you like to waste money.
If I was gonna make a ecommerce for fashion, i'd have filters in my product search for cleaning option aka max water temp & dry tumble temp. It's so annoying to buy a tshirt and then see you can't dry tumble it. "Oh great, another piece of wear that costs me time & effort to separate washing in my wash+dry machine, fish out the non-dry tumble shirts & hang them instead of just throwing stuff in dirty in the morning & taking out dry clothes in the evening
I've washed all my Fear of God mainline sweatpants and sweatshirts at home, and all my pieces have lasted a long time. Cold wash with mild detergent and flat dry

I'm wondering if its even worth spending more on clothes than they're charging because as an uninformed consumer I think its pretty good clothing and would actually like to see what a professional has to say to build a frame of reference when buying new clothing from other brands.
Thank you for color coding the clothes in the background. Attention to detail indeed. SUBSCRIBED!
The free lint got me 😂
I bet they just lazily put "dry clean only" in response to construction failing complaints (like with the bad stitch design)--as opposed to putting an emphasis on actually making the construction durable on future models.
I would love to see you review Dries Van Noten Nylon Pants
Adding it to the list!
@@Shiftfashiongroup Loving your educational videos
Another comment 😅 can the next clothing be a light or cream color?? It's hard to see the details you mentioned because of the color 😅😅
Would love to see a summary of the pros and cons of the product you review at the end of the video 😃
They all look like my sweats from Old Navy 😂
These look exactly like the Zegna ones that are on SSENSE right now. Can you review those?
thanks for the break down hope more people can watch this great video
Love this content! I’d love to be able to see better some of what you’re describing though. If you’re taking apart a black garment, it would be super helpful if you weren’t also wearing black, lol.
Love your critique! Would also love if you’d wear a contrasting color sweater to the color of the garment being looked at, it was hard to see the details you were talking about against your lovely sweater!
Bro. The lil edit when you slingshot the Waist Band. lol. Love the editors. Haha
Love how the vids keep improving 💯 Can you add the fit part where you try it on, always liked that portion !
Love these videos and the extensive info
Another great video. Can you deconstruct Vuori's Strato tech tee or perhaps their Dreamknit fabric? Would love to hear your take on more Vuori items. Thanks Joe!
Can you do Velour garments 1000GSM hoodie
Ooh, could you guys do a teardown of TheRealMcCoy's brand in the future?
I would love to see a arcteryx jacket revue like the beta, alpha or Sabre
i would love a long real world test of using it and watching it......then comparing 1 wash -5 washes then 10 washes. and so on to see how fast they fall apart. if you want huge numbers do this with the temu fresh....sorry teddy fresh brand lol
I love this channel!
What an eye opening episode! Could you do some of the tailoring pieces from the collection 8? I think that’s what Jerry is positioning mainline future as. I would love to know if those pieces actually live up to their luxury appearance. Thank you!
Can you do some carhartt work in progress garments
Would love a Rick Owens prisoner pant review, or basically almost anything by them. A bunch of the brands products feels premium, on the other hand a lot of their essentials feel pretty terrible.
awesome video joe!!!
a year or 2 ago i bought a t-shirt from the fear of god main line, the 6th or 7th collection, and it has a very obvious stitching defect on the collar.
I have some black champion sweats that I’ve had for like 5 years. I might need to replace them soon.
I've washed all my Fear of God mainline sweatpants and sweatshirts at home, and all my pieces have lasted a long time. Cold wash with mild detergent and flat dry
Man I just know large corporate brands are going to work extra hard to get this channel flagged and demonetized😂😂😂
Love the content
Hey can we see a deconstruction of the yeezy/gap/balenciaga double layered hoodies and seamless t shirts
FYI FOG’s shoes are ass too! I spent $600(retail) on a pair of their shoes and was disappointed on how uncomfortable they are.
