The first house on here, I will do everything in my power to build this on my land. I just fell in love with this one over all of them that I have seen. Absolute perfection to me!
"We have no bills" 🤣yes because you're living off mom&dad. Their shower, toilet, major cooking, laundry your still dependent on them to support you.
No bathroom? C'mon. Without a bath or even a tiny kichenette, this isn't a house at all. It's a fancy shed.
Only for the first house. The one featured (in the title) the Popup does not. Check out A@ 1:56 where she talks abt going to the main house to when she has to pee in the middle of the night.
+Trish Truitt This may not be for you then.
Definitely not :-D
+Trish Truitt I would've went with the first house personally. And as far as the concern with him sleeping. Headphones.
+Trish Truitt unless there a swimming pool/ gym across the road ? lol
Love the houses !!! UNREAL !!! This is not the old tiny houses. It's a whole new level. The first house is gorgeous !!!
no bath, no kitchen, and one jumping jack on the top floor sends the whole second floor of the shed, I mean house, crashing to the ground.
right doesnt seem like it make sense much
I'd have gone with the first tiny house they saw, that atleast had a bathroom and a kitchen.
I agree. I understand the issue with wanting a separate sleeping space, but couldn't understand why they couldn't somehow erect a temporary wall or even a curtain of some sort so they could have more privacy and separation of the lifted sleep space. These guys are designers-I was disappointed that they didn't even try something in the first house. Personally, I couldn't live without a bathroom.
+temhotabot do you know if they have a video on the house they were already in?
You may not have bills, but your parents do.
Monisbored
everyone have sone kind of bills.
I've been waiting for someone to design this!
This has got to be the best tiny home I have seen yet!
Love both of his tiny homes. The pop-up is akin to what I had thought to be need in the tiny homes with loft beds, only I wanted the pop-up to only be the roof over the loft beds, to pop the roof up from the 4 feet lot, raise it up 3 feet with jacks upon arriving at the place that the tiny home would then be stationary, making it a 7 foot roof in the loft area. Where his pop-up raised up a whole extra floor/ room, I wanted the pop-up only over the loft, raising up 3 extra feet so one could stand in the loft, and do so with jacks rather than some kind of hand crank [due to weight of the roof].
Great way to maximum square footage. Now design these pop ups for larger square footage on rectangular designs on trailers, goose neck trailers...then you've got a movement happening.
You'll be the first and many will follow.
I stayed in a cabin in Mexico and there were common bath and kitchen facilities -- as well as outdoor cooking facilities, since 10 months of the year it was a suitable solution. That would work for this kind of home.
When I was renting, I spent $13,600/year on rent and have nothing to show for years of throwing rent into someone else's property.
Best thing I ever did was buy a dilapidated home with a carriage house, move a rental trailer on the property and live in it until the carriage house was completely redone: re-piped, rewired, insulated, painted in and out, new roof.
I moved into it and didn't have money to do the front house. A friend's handyman son, girlfriend and little boy needed a place, so I left the trailer on the property for three months and helped him do the demolition and windows. He and his family moved in and have completed the interior. I don't charge rent, but asked that they invest $900/mo in materials and labor. He's about four months ahead on that arrangement, and has big plans for this coming summer.
Meanwhile, life is fine in the carriage house. If I were still renting the same place it would be $1600/mo. My mortgage/insurance is $875/mo fixed, I pay an extra $300 toward the principal. If I keep it up, I'll be out of my 30-year mortgage in 18 years.
How nice it must be to have someone's yard to put your tiny house in.
they need to find a way to put in a tiny little bathroom, but i love the innovation of the dual storey, pretty clever.
Privacy and best use of back yard! Truly good.
We were just talking about this at Thanksgiving. And here it is. What a great idea.
I love the first Sustainable housing but no info on who offers it. Don't get me wrong i love this show but if you are going to post video's like this please give us the companies websites.
Um, no kitchen, no bathroom NO THANKS. I like the 1st one.
Cool! There's more to come in the tiny house industry.
Why you are not added tv channels please added tv channels
wow awesome ! should be a little bigger to add a bathroom
Pop up for the loft only would be helpful.
The only reason I don't like videos like this is that we cannot get these in the USA!
That's because construction companies and building owners have the USA politicians in their back pocket with money. That prevents tiny house communities
Larry Richelli
thete are tiny homes in the usa
ExclusiveLM
there are tiny homes in the usa
You need to put the bottom step by the downstairs entry, so you walk in and straight ahead to go upstairs n move the window to the other wall, this will create more room up and down stairs
I love all these tiny houses the first one and the third one gorgeous. Do they manufacture in America?
Does anyone have a link to the first house they viewed in the video? It was stunning! I like the idea of the pop up house, but no bathroom, no kitchen NO THANK YOU!
i know, i was huh... they chose that one???
I love the two storey pop up! this is what I have been looking for just for my own private studio space! and If i'd known this was available I would've picked this instead ;/please link me the business please!!!!!!!!
I give them 3 months
Looking at this episode and loving the first house...Can you tell me the name of the company that built this? We are looking to downsize and this is just what we want!
zack your the best
we have winds down here in Texas that would probably flip that thing right over. the winds Tipped a hundred foot Tower over one time
I love this show!
I want one!
So....they bought more a treehouse without a tree than a tinyhouse without a bathroom no?
where can i find more information? whats your company name where are you based do you have a showroom?
awscdn.com.au/files/Feature%2024%20-%20Building%20The%20Future.pdf
Excellent !!!
Love it!
Put me in a small place like that and I would go crazy. I would need at least a 600 sq ft garage to play in
I like this. I would, however build an extra space for my future kids to sleep.
Buy two. They're dirt cheap. For 2 it's just 30 thousand dollars. If you have the money you could even buy a third house just to keep Donald Trump wigs.
I'm confused, they gave up a pod for a much smaller space and no bathroom??
it's affordable at only $500,000
The pop up is great. Who are the manufacture. Could you please post the details
+money4mekate Go to the website.
Instead of railing around the stair well hole upstairs, how about a fold down cover hinged on the wall to cover the hole?
Wow
id love to find out who to contact in regaurds to the first and third house. if anyone knows id love the info ty ☺
+Jackie Wynoogst By their accents, I would say Australia.
yes i know its australia cos i live there :) am wanting to know who to contact to enquire about building 1 of the houses
Jackie Wynoogst
Have you not read the info at the top and watched the other videos or looked on the website? I don't want to be funny, but try being proactive and contact the person who posted the bloody video.
+solatiumz there is no need to be so damn rude.
Jackie Wynoogst
I am not being rude. But I can be if you want?
Who makes these? Where can I find more information about these tiny pop-up houses? Thanks
Would anyone happen to know the name of the company whose tiny houses are featured in this video?
Is this channel on
Wow! Wow!! WOW!!!
Lol
How can you call it a "house" without a bathroom and kitchen?
how do i rind the builder for the USA
What is the name of the manufacturer?
I question how safe this house would be. It would be awful if the second floor fell onto the first.
+LucilleB -- Human Panini Press
really stupid this is !. you can only put stuff in there when you have it up . no use of the stupid extention transormfing shit
I like the ideal of the pop up two story... but there no bathroom or kitchen so NO.
First home
258 SQ feet
$20k
$10k over budget
Second home
180 SQ feet
$15k
$5k over budget
Third home
600 SQ feet
$30k
$20k over budget
The house removed from their list is the first home.
They bought the second home for $10k
Sleep with earplugs...problem solved.
love the first one but the pop up is hardly escaping mom and dad if you still have to use their loo and laundry
ItsJustMeTracey
they can add to it down the road. it's more of them just having there own place to go too.
Yea, you don't need all this things and a big house.. Except that's not true. You still need your parents land and loo.
dzus
what so wrong with that
How does it stay up?! If that caves and you are up there... It'll break your neck. I do love it but scary and I need a bathroom added on.
I want tiny house in India, is it possible.
Vir Kavy depending on local codes
It’s more like a play house
He bought himself a play house; the girl looks unhappy with the choice
What is the point of the house rising up like that if it sits there all the time? If it was mobile I could understand it...
MisterFuturtastic it is mobile; when they want to move they shorten it again so it fits under over passes
@@DaftPunkRocks2010 I guess I missed that in the vid. haha
Um, yeeeeah....you're living off your parents' property dude.
Danelle Malchus
nothing wrong with that. save them money and help the family out.
whats wrong with that. many parents out there love having their kids live longer with them. as long as he is working, its all good
Did he say it was $15,000 full fitted out or $50,000?
+nbkcq28 Thanks...that makes more since
way way way to small for 2 peeps and no bathroom
compost toilet would work in these new homes.
This is not a tiny house
shoes in bed how nasty what the???
+Morgan More -- After watching a RUclips video about the stuff people pick up on their shoes, NO shoes are worn in my house.
Vic Stevinson people get mad at me when I tell them my house is a no shoe zone
+Morgan More -- Their problem, not yours. Remind people to bring extra socks or house slippers. I have socks available and the bathroom is set up for people to wash their feet if they wish. My house, my rules.
Vic Stevinson I do they don't care
+Morgan More -- If someone doesn't care or makes a fuss, I would reconsider their invitation. I also don't allow smoking indoors, am vegetarian -- as are several friends, and have recycling bins. If people don't want to play along or it's too much trouble, they may not be a good guest for me to host.
How to waste $15,000 ...
I find it hard to believe t h at more effort wasn't MN ade to accommodate a family with a kitchen and bathroom. Honestly, I think someone made an error in drafting the plans They were excited about the theatre-like balcony. After the building began, they realized there was no more room to go to the right to build the kitchen and bathroom. Due to lack of expenses, everyone kept their mouths shut and decided to try to sell to an unsuspecting party; hoping they'd be so excited they would accept the pitch about not needing a kitchen or bathroom. They got taken. How much did the pop up house cost? That was too expensive not to have a kitchen and bathroom; not even a composting toilet! That couple was the guinea pig for that floor plan. The guy said more money in his pocket. No! More money in THEIR pocket!
Leave
They don't have any bills?? They don't have a place to bathe and pee, either. Their folks should charge them for the use of their bathroom in the main house. How childish is this?? You live in your own little space on your parents' property.....grow up!!!
Christina Link
there is nothing wrong living on your parents land and using there bathroom. Heck you never know they might add a bathroom later on. How are they being childish and not growing up.
The guy is such a moron. Get a real job and buy a real house. Not some shed where you have to live off your in-laws.
