@@andythomas9564no, no it’s not. Just because a question was asked doesn’t mean that the officer is in trouble nor that the case will be thrown out. It just means that specific question and response cannot be used in court.
@@andythomas9564only need to be read to them after arrest and prior to questioning about the crime. It’s amazing how many people don’t know that.

@@TinySmug and 20 years ago he found out that his friend snitched him out. He probably knew before the show ever aired. It is all part of the discovery papers that you get. You get the name and address of the person who is telling the cops anything.

Yes when they might put other people’s lives in danger, they have to stop the peruse. The officer in pursuit will radio the plate number and as soon as the car is seen by other patrol cars, they will continue the pursuit.
When there is heavy pedestrian traffic (i.e. Las Vegas) a “NO PERSUIT” radioed & is up to the discretion of police officer

Not every cop is evil, I have respect for the good ones, now I know there are some bad ones too, and as Ben Franklin said “ it takes a lot of good deeds to make a good impression but one bad one to ruin everything, or something like that, but the point is not every cop is evil.
Benjamin Franklin had his evil side too. He did not publicly speak out against slavery until very late in his life. As a young man he owned slaves, and he carried advertisements for the sale of slaves in his newspaper, the Pennsylvania Gazette. I guess the lesson to be learned is that most people are a combination of good and bad.

A lot of these were examples of good cops, especially the one with the suicidal gentlemen. A lot of them are just trying to help. But the few bad apples make the entire police force look bad.
