I was the same way. Dang Prius was holding its own with the cruisers , then it got pitted a couple of times and kept going. I was like, sorry little Prius for underestimating you for all these years.
These cops blow my mind with the driving skills they show. I wish they would do more to immediately stop the perps, but I understand they are also protecting the other drivers..... who seem asleep to the noise around them sometimes.
to give you some perspective some of the reasons they don't immediately attempt to stop them is because sometimes they are waiting for backup so when they do stop them they have more officers to aide in the event there is multiple occupants or the occupants decide they are going to run on foot or if they are armed etc. So the compromise is a bit more time to stop them in exchange for better safety for themselves when the chase comes to a stop. It isn't always obvious in some of the videos, but a lot of the times the primary officer in the chase is by themselves for a few minutes in the chase while all the other officers are trying to catch up and then when they do catch up that is when they will typically start procedures to end the pursuit.
Not in Arkansas… law enforcement there, engaged in high speed pursuit, are literally killers hiding behind a badge. Zero accountability for the public.
These high-speed chases are so intense and dangerous! The police did an excellent job maintaining public safety while still controlling the suspects. Thank you for their bravery!
It’s funny how you think that people should try to get over on the freeway with multiple vehicles coming at you going 100+mph. Those Troopers are very skilled drivers especially the ASP and there are 6 lanes of traffic on most freeways.

Around 48:00, that's a picture perfect PIT: moderate speed, off the right hand side, ended the chase. The ASP ultra-high-speed PITs are awesome to watch visually, but I question the sanity of some of them, especially those that were initiated over a traffic infraction.
