    Once I was in prison with pain and fear and without any hope. Now I walk out as a free man. Still in pain, but freed from fear and with hope and confidence for what awaits me in the near future. I will overcome TMS. I'm sure about that.

      You will get there. Fear and attention keep the pain persisting. Sounds like you have made a lot of progress on the fear.

    Love it - more people should know about it. This should be on every major tv channel and newspapers.

    Last week we had to put asleep our dearly beloved cat. I felt the emotions of sadness deep within me and cried a lot. Of course we miss her enormously. And I had flares of pain as never before..

    This is what I feel with my kids. They are all grown and two are married with the youngest having a boyfriend, but my girls are constantly arguing with me over anything I say. It could be about the weather, politics, religion, pop culture, society, or anything else, but it seems I'm not allowed to have an opinion. It's hard to deal with my oldest. She has bi-polar and ADHD and it's hard to confront her because she is so sensitive. What do you suggest I do so she understands how I feel - without her falling apart on me? My youngest just treats me like I'm stupid, so sometimes I just don't say anything at all. My husband tends to side with them and that makes me feel worse. My son is the only one who allows me to speak, without judgement.

      It's really difficult for me to comment on how to repair family dynamics based on a paragraph description of what's going on. Nor am I trained or experienced in family counseling. Other than suggesting that you cannot control them, but you may be able to influence how you respond to them, I'm not sure what else I can suggest.
      In your other comment, you mentioned that the IBS comes on with no rhyme or reason, yet in this comment you discussed some very stressful and upsetting family situations and challenges. Notice of there is a connection between what's going on with your family and your emotional response and the IBS. Connect the dots so you can make a decision that IBS is TMS 100%. Hope this makes sense.

    Thanks Dan, but what about, the body keeps score? Doing inner child work helps release stuck energy from the past which can creates illness.

      How do you know when you have released the "stuck energy" from the past? How do you go about doing that? Serious question. How do you do that and how do you know that you've succeeded?

      @@PainFreeYou hi, I know after I've done some inner child work such as the work of Lucia Capachione who has herself healed from chronic illness, and I feel a sense of relief and more energy after I've addressed my inner child. Nicole Sachs has been addressing inner child work as well lately. Those of us who have been through narssasistic abuse have a lot of trauma stored within, that when released properly, rewire the brain to have the self confidence and self compassion needed to do this work.
      I hope that makes sense.
      Dan I don't know if you remember me, I had a call with you a while ago and had chronic hives and many allergies. Thanks to so many of your videos and other work, seeing a TMS doctor as well, I've thank God overcome it. I can eat most anything I want now. My problem now is symptom imperative pains I get that the inner child work is helping. Getting back my self confidence is a big part of my work and healing. Thank you for all you have done for me!

    Do you mean there is no need to journal about the past to heal?

    • @PainFreeYou
      @PainFreeYou  2 года назад +3

      I did that for 6 months and that wasn't the solution for me. I know many who journal and go to therapy and still have pain. I believe it's more about teaching your brain that you are safe.
