Most excellent. As a tool and die maker with 26 years experience, the company I work for is making all of us tool and die guys go to school for industrial electricity and hydraulics so they can cut out the contractors and give us a pretty good raise. Your video is well presented and very informative. Thank you.

Best video on youtube I've ever seen so far when it comes to education. Thanks a bunch for these uploads! I wonder if you have more higher level Hydraulic/Electrical equipment troubleshooting?
Here's an updated example problem for electrically controlled hydraulic system on my other channel: Electrically Controlled Hydraulic System Example: Extend and Retract With Limit Switch Expect major updates to this channel summer 2014. Long term I'm planning to include the whole basic electronics series, hydraulics, power electronics, control electronics, motors/generators, and renewable energy applications. Subscribe if you're interested in receiving updates.
Hi Jim, Thanks for your effort of teaching us. I really understand even I dont have ever seen hydraulics this is my first time but I know a little about electricity. Have you done a video on Electrical Schematics, Im looking for it.
Dude, I know all about hydraulics and just a little about the electro side. How do you know so much on both sides? On another note, are you able to trace these steps in a real life situation?
Thanks...Looked like a simple design but it needs a thorough thinking because a proper combination and placement of devices should be considered as per how the system works. Sir, this is Intelligence. Hope you can come up with videos on Generator Sets also.
Again a Great Tutorial but you might want to point out from the start that (DV1 sol B) at the bottom of your ladder diagram is infact (DV1 Sol A), this confused me at first & will others even you corrected the mistake later on......
