This was a great race throughout. It seems that the Gen3 Evo attack mode is going to make races on tracks where it's hard to overtake a lot more exciting in terms of on-track battles.

Still have no idea how Mortara went from Top 10 to near dead last. My stream was uncooperative and kept skipping every three laps. Now these highlights are not showing what happened to him
It was never shown. But he was fighting with Bird and they had a contact at the hairpin and Bird got a 5s and Mortara had to box or puncture idk, thats my theory
God these highlights are still awful. An incredible race, and somehow the FE channel still manages to kick out some of the best bits. A skip from lap 1 to lap 18? Really? That's HALF THE RACE
Interest in FE has dropped like a stone here in Britain since Warner Bros Discovery decided to put it behind another paywall in TNT Sports after years of semi-free coverage on Eurosport and Quest.
Nobody has 4 wheel drive on race mode, only when Attack Mode is on the 4 Wheel drive gets activated. At least that's what I remember from the explanation
I was an f1 fan for many months. But i just recently discovered FE and i instantly feel in love with thes futuristic cars and close racing in my opinion its better than f1.
This season is sshaping upto be Very Competeive LOVE IT. none of the powertrains are really bad(may be Abt LOla is).. most of the cars are Competetive.. even mahindra surprisingly... LOving this
So far this season the risk of losing an attack mode on the late part of the race has not compared to the advantage that it has on a post safetycar situation, i belive the winning strategy should always be this from now on: -2 min first ativation for the midle of the race -6 min Late race ativation, even with safety car, 6 min is enought for it to enter and leave. BTW: Evans would have won this race have he not crashed exactly on the attack mode lap!
I'd rather have a few overtakes in the highlight videos instead of skipping frpm Lap 1 to Lap 18(!!!), that's just bad editing and a disgrace to a race like this
Bro the battles, I think I have not seen so many battles.... I hope F1 can also maintain close battles like this at least for the top 5 teams. I have been watching F1 since 2020 and 2024 was the most interesting year to watch. But Formula e, I am really impressed by it. Going to star watching it live
I’ve been watching F1 since the early ‘90’s and since that time only a handful of races have been what I would describe as ‘exciting’. I’m new to FE and my early impression is that the racing is much closer than in F1 with the lead chopping and changing throughout. Loving the attack mode!
@@wesselmartens1621Cars recharge the battery by braking, while they deplete the battery on a straight since there is no braking + you're going full throttle. The batteries are not beefy enough to last the entire straight on the original grand prix layout, you simply deplete it entirely and run out of "fuel" before you make it to the next braking zone.
@@mrgalaxy396 But over the course of the lap / race the battery is depleted anyway right? As braking can never generate the energy spent on acceleration. Are you saying driving the full straight at top speed would increase the energy usage so much the race could only last a few laps?
Not extending the race by 1 lap with 2 safety cars stole the race away from Porsche, they had more than enough energy to go that distance. Makes me salty as a Porsche fan but at least its a lead in all 3 championships :)
The new attack mode is such a gimmick. No fun in seeing a car suddenly becoming a rocket and leaving everyone who hasn't got the attack activated in the dust
It's the same for everyone though, so it works well for strategy. Plus at this track you could still defend from it/wasn't as easy to overtake as it was in Sao Paulo for example.
How much outsourced child labour to make your clothes? You should also check out half the war crimes oil companies get themselves into. That's a problem with how companies outsource the work though. Oliver Rowland is a world class racer, hope he gets the championship he has deserved since leclerc beat him to the F2 title.
Hopefully Rowland could win Season 11 title.
Only 4 race wins in nearly 10 years in the Formula E championship I wouldn't call that "world class racer".
Beat him? More like thrashed.
And he only finished third that year. 90 points behind Leclerc.
@@RB71073 he's only been in FE full time since 2019 wdym 💀
It's funny reading he compared highly of himself with Leclerc.

Oliver Rowland was ON IT during the Lap 30 restart. What a win, what a win for Oliver!

I hope Rowland can win the title if he keeps consistent.

Omedeto Nissan and Ollie Rowland!

So what happened to Di Grassi since he finished the race without using all of the required Attack Mode time?
Disqualified I believe
I think he recieved a drive through penalty at the end so 21 seconds has been added to his time
Rowland is simply ON FIRE!
Always Mexico giving a great Formula E race! ❤

DS Penske with the worst luck with the safety cars.. Hopefully it gets better later on

That was a good race. Any race where the Jaguars don’t dominate is a win in my books
Definitely. Jaguar made those FE races a bit boring.
Did they do any pit stops or has that not been introduced yet?
Do they all have the same batteries and power? Just different aero packages?
Same aero, different powertrains
Same batteries and aero platform. Different powertrains and rear suspension, and can develop the software throughout the season
It would be nice to see all the cars paint jobs while they are standing still.
wasting 80 seconds with the starting grid is a 'good' start for a highlight video.... and why cant they just race on the grand prix track?

The new attack mode is such a gimmick. No fun in seeing a car suddenly becoming a rocket and leaving everyone who hasn't got the attack activated in the dust
It’s called strategy
And it’s also the all point of the attack mode since his creation in gen2
