Another acronym for A.C.T.S. = Adoration, Contrition, Thanksgiving, Supplication ... through Education for Parish Service (EPS) we use this formula as a preparation for the Sacrament of Confession.
My goodness…. As a cradle Catholic, I thought I was praying every night. I’d start with The Lord’s prayer, followed by 3 Hail Marys and 1 Glory Be. Then, I’d dive straight into my “Stuff”. How selfish… From tonight, I’ll change it - “ACTS”. Thank you, Chris. I’m learning so much every single day since I subscribed. God bless you & your loved ones.
ACTS...so easy to remember and so necessary in our lives! I'm always trying to be perfect in my prayer life (and life in general) but I am learning that I don't have to be perfect. God wants me to depend on Him and Him alone and He will do what needs to be done. Praise God! Thank you Chris.
Clearly God loves you, blessed with a beautiful daughter. I am genuiinely happy for you. My life has been miles away from any of that. I live alone in a piss-stained house, with no friends, not even my brother calls to me because of the "smell"!! I never see anyone from one end of the yearto the next. Just me with 10 cats. I try to go to daily mass, and did the Life In The Spirit, and what do I get but a debilitating flu/chest infection that has left me with no voice, cannot even call any depession or suice helplines!!!!!.......Yeah!! Life is great!!!!
Thank you for the great prayer formula! Most of all thank you for your enthusiasm and joyful faithfulness. To often I get bogged down and my prayer turns to complaining. With your help I am becoming a more joyful person and prayer🙏😇
I look forward to you videos - the energy, joy and love you share with God helps me learn, embrace and open up my heart more and more to be with God. Please keep the videos coming 🙏
My best prayer is chatting and talking to Jesus about all my concerns and confusion and love for him and questions about what He is up to. What is up in general! I don’t get it but I give it to Him. He just wants us to know Him and trust He has our best interests at heart. I often speak out loud to him when alone, and listen to Him respond. Yes Chris!!!! Thank you! You just were an answer to my prayer this morning! You affirmed my heart! 🙏

Thanks from Down Under, Chris - I now really look forward to your Tuesday sessions (even if it is Wednesday when we see them here!! ;-)). Like you, I also benefit from looking at my favourite image of Jesus when I pray and Yongsung Kim's painting "The Hand of God" is the one that I relate to perfectly. There He is reaching through the water to grab my hand and drag me out when I have yet again fallen short and need Him as always. But He has a loving and understanding smile .... "Here I am" ... it may be the thousandth time that He has needed to reach down and help me but He is ALWAYS there - patient, loving and caring for me. It's a beautiful and very real image that I never tire of gazing at.

Chris I don’t know how often you read these messages but I love that cross that you are holding right now I would like to purchase one or find out where I can get one so I can hang it in my bedroom where are most of my prayers are spoken to God as you say in this video sometimes I get caught up and just saying all the things that are wrong or that is going wrong instead of being thankful for a God who loves me and he’s helping me go through the physical pain I am going through as when I think about what God did for us dying on the cross for our sins I feel selfish sometimes complaining about my own physical pain I should be thankful for the pain I’m in because that means I’m alive I think God every day for my family the safety of my family and for my new grandson that was born on April fifth 2021 my last few words are for you I am 66 years old and feel so inspired by your videos your words and I want to thank you I would love to be part of your group also but $25 a month I cannot afford at this time I was lucky that my wife got me your book living joy which you said you wrote last year dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic thank you again God bless you and your family and please keep doing what you’re doing you are the voice of God and she tells you what to say to people like me

all good stuff except for goodness sake!!! Use inclusive language for God!!!! God is not one gender!!!! My prayer is so disrupted by limited language, we can do better...
