Yes, in order to flash your Xiaomi device, you must unlock your bootloader first.
Do NOT update to EU MIUI 12.5.7.0 on your Mi 11. It will screw up the touch sensivity of your display. The touch latency is not responsive anymore. When scrolling through any app, it isn't smooth anymore. I could not downgrade to the previous EU rom versions because it will get stuck in recovery mode. Waiting for the next update

The official global ROM for MIUI12.5 is not available yet for this device, try the one from xiaomi.eu forum which is based on the chinese ROM

hi guys, I have finally installed the stable rom on my MI 11 through fastboot. I am happy with it. Hurray, I could install all my apps back except a few, not sure why...I have installed them manually. But I have a question, how can we update the apps now ? Like the app update is quite different than the regular play store app update. Is it the same way we update the apps in google play store ? Please advise. how to do it ? and 2nd, we cant get system apps update right ? So every time there is a new version in this site, we need to update through PC ? Is that it ? Please update how to get the app updates and firmware updates etc.,

yes you can update the apps from playstore or the apps will notify you to update when a new version is available. In regard to the xiaomi.eu ROM you have to download the latest version and perform the update manually.

sound like you have driver issue, make sure you have the correct fastboot driver installed

No it doesn't have to be the same pc you used to unlock the bootloader. Just make sure you have the fastboot driver installed

Seems like your PC doesn't recognise your device, make sure you have the correct drivers installed. open command prompt and type this command while your device is in fastboot mode and connected "fastboot devices"

If you are flashing the Xiaomi.eu ROM for the first time you have to do a fresh install, CANNOT use the update process.

You have to make sure you download the fastboot ROM which will say fastboot on the title. You probably have the recovery version

Do you have to do this every time there's an update? Just like now there is a new update 12.5.11. Actually I did download it to 100% yet it fails to proceed due to an error. And also miui.eu doesn't have yet the fastboot version for new update on 12.5.11.

In order to Flash any other ROM you must unlock the bootloader first.

Careful because once the bootloader has been unlocked successfully the phone will be factory reset automatically and everything will be deleted. Back up all your files before doing anything. No you cannot update one version to the other, you have to do a fresh install

The ROM from Xiaomi.eu cannot be flashed using MiFlash Tool, but you can for the official EU ROM from MIUI website

I plan to flash this on my Mi 10T Pro. Is Xiaomi eu more stable than Global? I'm having battery drain issues on global.
UPDATE: Currently on Xiaomi. EU Stable 12.5.1.0 and everything just flies. It's waaay faster, cleaner, snappier than Global and for some reason has more features (ikr 😂). If this came preinstalled on all Xiaomi phones then they would be even more appealing (but I know Xiaomi wouldn't do that because they make more money off of ads). I have NOT experienced any bugs, SafetyNet passes, banking apps work, Google Play is certified, Netflix is Widevine L1. There's a 108mp mode in the camera app so there's nothing really wrong with it.

@@aadarshshakya currently on Xiaomi. EU stable..just use the one for the Mi 10T..it works.. even the 108mp mode works.
This is not made clear in the forum but zips for the "Mi 10T Pro" have actually been discontinued since the device doesn't exist in China.
Stable and Weekly are based on the Redmi K30S Ultra, which is the China counterpart of the Mi 10T.
The Mi 10T/Redmi K30s Ultra files are *completely* compatible with the Mi 10T Pro. Since these 3 devices are completely identical hardware-wise (same chipset, same display, etc.) and the only difference is the 108mp main rear cam on the Pro, the EU developers have decided to unify the zips for them. I have NOT experienced any bugs, SafetyNet passes, banking apps work, Google Play is certified, Netflix is Widevine L1. There's a 108mp mode in the camera app so there's nothing really wrong with it.
