I knew this a long time ago. As im both a yoshi n a claudio main. The advantage on block increases depending on the distance the rolling cross chop was blocked at. It can get as high as plus 18 at furthest of distance. I Don't think u can get a full launch though but the jab float is still guaranteed
In Tekken tag 1 days , after the cross chop, down jabs are guarantees and it will make the opponent float. Also, if you do running cross chop with strict timing that will on opponent shins, it will also guarantee a jab.

I just find it fascinating that an odd choice of characters have access to this move in particular. Like what makes the devs say that characters like Kuni, Marduk and Claudio for an example get this move but Jin, Julia or King for an example don't? It's not like all the mentioned characters share a similar moveset hahaha
Therefore they dont have normal or special spring kick which is better in my oponion cause much faster and instant low cruch. Its just a variety of wakeup options to give them identity.
Cuz their version gets off the ground faster as a tradeoff but dosent give block advantage and on hit gives knockdown. King gets a special version of this very much like eddy which turns him around but is otherwise pretty decent frame wise and can have its own setups

I've been using this with Paul for shits and giggles in ranked since day one because it looked funny. Found out I could launch on block by accident. Didn't know my secondary Marduk could do it too. Jab floats to wall oki........BRB about to abuse my friends with this🤣
"Why the hell this character has this" is a question I have asked myself a lot when fighting DLC characters like Leroy, Fahk and Kuni. Tekken devs werent sure about what the characters should be so they gave everybody everything and then more
@@joelyfish4216 tekken isn’t such a clear cut game that you can say wanting to get hit by a move (not entirely true you have more than enough time to interrupt or evade) instead of blocking is a design flaw. It’s just a small quirk of the game
Because consecutive 10f jabs can be ducked. They can't press a button but they can block or duck. Set a practise dummy to 10f jab on repeat and if you press down right after getting punched in the face it will duck before the next punch
@@epicon6 The +10 advantage after that wakeup option is true advantage tho, they cannot block a jab after blocking it. The reason they are blocking his jabs might be because that wake up option has more active frames and he's connecting it on early startup frames
You know that it is very reactable you can counter float for a combo ez or sidewalk if you wanna play it safe plus if you get the combo issa float combo i can even say snake edge is better lmao
I don't like how the jab follow up to this move is unlockable. Makes no sense, a Miguel player was catching me with this set-up and i didn't have any idea why my i couldn't block, but now it makes sense...i guess 😒
It kinda makes sense that big characters will break your guard by throwing themselves at you, but seeing Kunimistu do it is just funny.

If you block the cross chop you can also duck after it hits to avoid the jab.
no its impossible, you are stunned for 10 frames and the jab is 10 frame. Its a guaranteed guard break.

What’s the command for it? I’ve pressed F1+2 then 1 to jab in but it never floats them. They just block it.
