During the various periods of Assyrian conquest, such as the Assyrian Empire of Shamshi-Adad I (1813-1750 BC), Middle Assyrian Empire (1391-1056 BC) and Neo-Assyrian Empire (911-605 BC), Assyrian imperial propaganda proclaimed the supremacy of Ashur and declared that the conquered peoples had been abandoned by their own gods.
When Assyria conquered Babylon in the Sargonid period (8th-7th centuries BC), Assyrian scribes began to write the name of Ashur with the cuneiform signs 𒀭𒊹 AN.ŠAR2, the ideograms for "whole heaven" in Sumerian, simplified into Rassam cylinder Anshar.jpg AN.ŠAR2 in Assyrian cuneiform, which came to be pronounced Aššur in the Assyrian dialect of Akkadian, the language of Assyria and Babylonia. The intention seems to have been to put Aššur at the head of the Babylonian pantheon, where Anshar and his counterpart Kishar ("whole earth") preceded even Enlil and Ninlil.[3] Thus in the Sargonid version of the Enuma Elish, the Babylonian national creation myth, Marduk, the chief god of Babylon, does not appear, and instead it is Ashur, as Anshar, who slays Tiamat the chaos-monster and creates the world of humankind , THEY BEHAVED SAME AS ASUR WHO ALWAYS TRIED TO TAKE OVER HEAVEN AND DECLARE THEMSELVES AS GODS OR DEVAS .

Excellent presentation as always from Shrikant Talageri. We should keep in mind that this subject is highly intricate and complex in its details. Talageri does fundamental research and writes very detailed technical papers. So it is unfair to say that his communication skills are lacking. The very nature of this subject makes it very difficult to dumb it down to make the presentation audio-visual media-friendly. Doing so will mean stripping away all the academic language and details, which would then make it useless.
Please note that in this video, Talageri is summarizing the state of the debate, by providing some history and context.

Professor has very brilliantly pushed back and showed the hypocrisy of Leftists historians. But he was trying to put a lot of information within a small time. And he jumps many logical steps.... And you find him contradicting... But he gets back from his tangent and comes back to his point and then you realise he was making logical points and there were no contradiction. It's just that he jumps from one step to another... And we lose context and then comes back again to fill the blanks. A classical Indian professor. Good brains. Very poor communicators. No wonder why Kushal was sleepy. Even i lost track and started looking at Kushal. Also he usesany many redundant sentences. And don't ask him complex question. Ask him simple straight question. He goes on a tangent very often.

There are allusions to more than the ten mandalas of the Rig Veda (within the vedas) which we have today. These were lost even before these ten were compiled so I assume the story of the battle of ten kings - dasarajna - mentioned briefly in the 7th mandala was possibly detailed in these older vedas.

Very informative discussions. I like the fact that there is proper intellectual approach. It would benefit immensely if we can source all the assertions and quotes. It should then be published as a paper. This is how we advance the thesis and counter the traditional AIT theory. We need more rigorous explain actions and quoted references on DNA proofs.

    • @vvanamali6286
      @vvanamali6286 3 года назад

@Piyush Mishra writes: "It should then be published as a paper". If you listen to some of Shrikant-ji's talks (and also Koenraad Elst), you'll come to know that acadaemic publishing is in control of the AIT theory cabal. They just will not accept any of Shrikant-ji's papers, however powerful and convincing the arguments are. One can only hope that things may change for the better sometime in the future (just like what has happenned in the Wuhan virus case, although on a much much quicker time scale: the lab-leak theory that was pooh-poohed by academics last year--who also rejected papers--is now back with a bang).

In support of the horse argument, selective breeding can change form very rapidly. An example is the dog, which goes from tiny toy poodles to massive Great Danes, all coming from the same wolf-derived ancestor. The origin of most of the new dog breeds can be traced back to just a few generations in recent history.

@Devvrat Mishra Yes his name is mrugendra vinod , You can find the video on sangam talks . He is an ex DRDO engineer and Expert in Vedas. The seal is actually depicts bull (go mrigaha), and the cult object is *Yupa* . In ashwamedha yagna the sacrifice was symbolic. And not only horse ,bulls and other rare animals were also kept in front of Yupa. The whole process is mentioned in Vedas. The main problem is we dont read it and just depend on foreign scholars to tell us a crux. But crux never gives the actual story. One years back I was a strong beleiver of Aryan migration/Invasion theory ....as you know I had interest in short 10 minutes clips as I had less time. But short videos never give you exact picture. You have to listen long lectures ,debates ,have to read different books to understand stuffs.Ancient History is very complex and most of the history written in our academic books regarding ancient india is based on reconstruction and interpretation of secondary sources written by colonial scholars. The marxist historians like Romila thapar who claim themselves to be expert in ancient history didn't bother to study sanskrit and they depended solely on secondary sources. And they had political interest too. Once you frame an oppressor and invader it becomes easy to gather the crowd to become fanatically aggressive against that community.Similar staff happened here too....Aryan Invasion Theory was used as a tool to divide india into North and south , Forward castes vs Backward castes , mulniwasi politics etc. There are many parties which developed their ground based on this dogma.

India need a Democratic society, not religious society. Purana are rough folklore history. Ramayan and mahabharat moral cosmic(imaginary) stories. In ramayan rama send his wife into fire, to prove her purity. In mahabharat pandavas bet their wife, they can't match today's morals. Shiva purana is about nomadic people culture. They believed blood relationship. Relationship between yadav and yadav is blood relationship. Yadu, kuru, puru, turu, nomadic communities did war and matrimonial alliance. Puru Punjabi yadu are in up bihar naga in South Indian Tamil Keralites kannda even some of Maharashtra. Sons of ganga mean up bihari bengali, Angi kula Iranian. Mahabharata and Ramayana are very likely to have no iota of historicity. From the geography of Ramayana, it is clear that it is a later story since it starts to clearly describe and takes place primarily in southern regions and Sri Lanka, while Mahabharata remains to the north, so Mahabharata should precede Ramayana as Vedic tribes did not go south yet. But by canon it is mentioned that Ramayana precedes Mahabharata which is impossible

Saraswati is cosmic river, brahmin is not ethnicity. They are bunch people from various ethnicities. They were all ways been civil servants and traders. They distorted history for their benefit, now they can't convince they are Indian. Yadav and kuru are biggest Indian nomadic ethnicities. They don't have surname indicating region. But brahmin have surnames indicting region, Iyengar South Indian bahuguna up bihar, Nambudari Kerala, kulkarni karnataka Maharashtra.
According mahabharat Yadav and kuru are dead. Indian government should do caste based survey of shepherds(kuru, kurub, kuruva)nomadic and cowherd(Yadav). Being Yadav and kuruva is not job it's an athnicity. Brahmin wrote mahabharat for guptas empire. What's mahabharat ? It's a Nation in which thier is no ethnic supremacy, society is divided in to four parts brahmin civil servants, Kshatriya politicians army personal, vyshya trader and service providers shudras. Yadav and kuru ethnicities had own brahmin own king and servant. According to manusmriti we are shudras. we don't have right to education right to trade and right to become king or politicians. Even today we have own sanyasi(spiritual gurus) own Gods mallara bira incarnation of shiva and our own politician. I'm sure we were super rich and dominating, today we are backward, middle class and poor. Meat eating is impure and bad, because we revolted against brahmin Buddhist jain ritualism, economic exploitation in the name religion. Our ancestors started civilisation by domesticating animals cultivating land. But we are anaryas non Nobel inferior lower cate. Brahmin jain sanyasi and Buddhist sanyasi superior Aryan Nobel.

Guess what Einstein it is acknowledge by all scholars western to india that kuru is not a caste but clan and Kurus are Brahmins, kshtriya, vaishya and shudra.
Prakshit and janmajeya are historical kuru king who perform Vedic yagna they worship Vedic gods.
So Kurus were never s caste and Kurus ard basically are in north particularly haryana.
Even a leftist scholar will laugh on your point .
The concept of surname doesn't exist in modern times people are known either by their father names the place were they born or the clan so even the ancient yadvas king don't use yadvas surname brahmin start using surname during colonial time.
And sarswati is a real river archeological evidence say that
But I know u will not understand because u don't want to.

What's is caste? Only brahmin Kshatriya and vyshya are Aryan. All other non Aryan shudras. There are three types of brahmin agama brahmin (non Vedic), rigved brahmin and yajurved brahmin.every brahmin look is different from other, if all brahmin are from saraswati river they must look same as each other. You make Yadav as Aryan Kshatriya in morning and shudras in evening. In South there was less varna system hence less conversation happened. In Punjab and Kashmir there was high varna system. we lost 1/3 Punjab sikh and muslim half of Kashmir half of Bengal. We Yadav and kuru didn't discriminate other community, noone call us foreigner. Yadav and kuruva(kuruba) is not job my friend. Ethnicities of India. My community believes shiva vishnu brahma are our ancestors and brahmin are our cosine brother. That's why brahmin don't feel any discrimination in Yadav land that's up bihar, kuruva land that's Gujarat Maharashtra and Karnataka. In Kerala Keralite converted to Islam and Christianity.
