    "At one point Tony said "Tony Robbins hungry," referring to himself in the third person. I thought that was weird enough, but then his jaw extended to a terrifying degree and he began to devour me whole. It was then that I realized I was just watching a clip from an old episode of Family Guy,

      It’s not to late, you can get back into work. You don’t have to live that way. It’s not natural.

    Just my two cents .. but everything that I wrote down I wanted when I attended UPW with Tony last year I have accomplished. I was so in my own way with my limiting beliefs. It was tough journey, with a lot of tears .. and I had to deal some nasty beliefs…it was not a smooth ride to achievement more like a rollercoaster but I got where I need to be .. I cannot believe where I am now compared with just a year ago. And just to add I think others enjoyed UPW. I found it emotionally difficult and draining. I have no idea whether I was meant to enjoy it or not but I enjoy the benefits of getting through it. Perhaps we have the expectation and illusion that an expensive course should just be a party. Perhaps it was having to face myself that was difficult.. .. anyway life has got so much better thanks to this man. ❤ thank you 🙏🏻

      Micah Buzan I very much question that here too. I like his work and have since the late 80s but very much question if he’s just another psychopath. So easily can they hide behind their charming charisma and fool the majority. Only those who have truly experienced close relations with a real psychopath would question this, others who haven’t had that connection before really wouldn’t see it at all to question it. I haven’t come to a conclusion but obviously lean greatly towards the possibility.

    I met Tony before he was famous and doing classes for the firewalk in Del Mar. He was 35 minutes late and the first thing out of mouth when he walk to the front of the class was , "I don't owe anyone in this room an apology for being late, I make more money than all you put together in this room". I am sure he is alot more humble today...but it scares me when people idolize another person like they do him. He has alot of people who go to his seminars over and over again.... They are addicted to the high that he makes them feel...I think it's kind of sad. However I have read and enjoyed his books and dvds, just don't care for his seminars. He's one of the best salesman in the world...that's for sure. If he has really helped people, I think that's great.

    shared office space in SoHo
    with Tony Robbins during the Whole Life Expo development. I was the float guide at Tranquility Tanks, a floatation and sensory deprivation business. He was kind and energetic. He patiently answered all my questions re: firewalking, and helped me find my courage to walk it. I secretly named our floor "Fire and Water" after that. He remembers people, faces, stories ... he is genuinely interested in you when you meet him and he just wants to help you find the better version of yourself. He is the real thing. Everybody who has talked to him, been hugged by him or just simple sat or stood next to him felt that. I don´t care if people envy his money - he worked and still works REALLY hard for it!!! He doesn´t want to let anybody down, so he´s even on stage when he is sick and should be in bed. I owe him so much. I hope Rich Feloni knows how lucky he was to spend so much time with Tony. ;-)

I listened to pretty much all his courses as well attended several in person in those years in my early career. I even attended a one week "fire-walker" instructor workshop to learn further the art of fire-walking from the person who taught Tony. I credit his teachings and inspiration to the success I had in my career. Knowledge helps, but Action is power! 👊🙌🎉

    I feel like the people that are dissing Tony Robbins in the comments don’t understand him at all. Even if he is a little bit “ego driven”, he actually earned everything he has in life. When he was young, he gained 28 pounds and was evicted from his apartment in the same month. Since then, he has created his life from scratch, and truly deserves all of the things he has. He’s not just a character, he’s just truly proud of himself, and recognizes that he can help others achieve things too.

      Greatness is not defined by consistency. As an antithetical extreme, Stalin preached what he believed--genocide.
      I've spoken to people who preach the most incomprehensibly non-sensical philosophies (i.e., scientology) and practice what they preach by working for free in their centers; people who believe in shape-shifting aliens who are taking control of the earth and our political processes and back their belief by attending seminars, workshops, and buying $200 C.D. programs; people who believed a few years ago the world would end on a certain day and quit their jobs to be with their families.
      Tony Robbins has the ability to motivate many people who do not really question or have the knowledge to refute some of his beliefs. This isn't a bad thing but it's not necessarily a litmus test for greatness.

    • @2112reg
      @2112reg 5 лет назад +12

      Refer back to my original comment if you are twice as happy and twice as productive and effective and giving a person as before applying the things he is talking about, how is that somehow a negative? Have you read any of his books have you attended any of his events? Have you ever looked to improve yourself? Instead of tearing things down or in this case trying to tear someone else down why not look at yourself we should always start with ourselves and that is something that he talks about. This guy couldn't be anything further from somebody like Jim Jones or Charles Manson he asks for nothing and defers praise to himself. Yes he has fans so do football teams.. by your definition what seems are Cults all by themselves.. pink whatever you want but at least read about the person and know about the person you're talking about he has fed millions of people with his own money most of his stuff is free on RUclips you don't even have to pay for it.

    Before I did UPW I thought Tony is a top-notch salesman, ego-driven individual, arrogant, not my cup of tea. Seemingly lacked a soulful approach and care for human beings. I recognized his skill to turn anyone around, for the better, and I wanted this skill. Being a coach myself. Went to UPW and when he came on stage, I was in the first 5 rows, and I felt his heart. (trained in energy medicine myself). I was VERY surprised. So, yes, this human has LOVE as a baseline for his actions, and yes hes profit driven too. Bit of a clash for some, but its reality. Important thing is, whatever this man does, hes always rooted in love. Being still human and all.

    I went to one of his seminars once -well he wasn't even there, just two of his "disciples" trying to push us to book a real seminar with TR for a "special price of just $1300!!" and the whole vibe was very manipulative, they tried to humiliate us by making us do weird shit in front of others, then build us back up again by promising that life would be great if we just listen to what TR says, then at the end they tried to sell TR's shit. That's when I walked out. Some people were in tears, it reminded me of a sect! That is when you know that fear and manipulation is involved. TB is at the top of the pyramid, manipulating people to spend money on him. I don't like him because he is into power and domination, while acting like he cares about people. By the way, one of TR's "disciples" said that he left a "six figure job" just so he could work for TR. And even though he made much less money now, he was happy to follow his dream (or TR's dream?..)
    TR doesn't give a shit about you, he just want your money. He seem like a narcissist. Wake up, people.

    • @canadude6401
      @canadude6401 5 лет назад

      Cerise, You sound butthurt. Most people attending the seminars are open minded, and the smart and albeit small % of the people put in the work when they leave the seminar. Millions of people spend $30-80k on University to get ahead and they become baristas at Starbucks. $1,300 is likely money well spent IF, and that's a big IF you put in the work he walks you through to following your passion. If they don't put in the work, I guess they drop negative comments on TR RUclips videos.

      it is just motivation ... motivation doesnt last long, discipline is the key, either you go to seminar on a regular basis or you just pay some important books and rewire your mindset for less of 100 bucks, .... instead of $10K , today, there are plenty of materials to acquire knowledge, multiplie your sources, approach the subject from different angles, but never pay for a guru, knowledge should be free, if it is not, there is some obscur reasons, profits, manipulation etc... (in my opinion)

    Tony Robbins appears to be a genuinely nice individual. No one can be nice 100% of the time unless he was on drugs. I think he really cares. And if there are times that he is not 100% pleasant then it just proves he is a human being. I Iove his motivational speaches.
