      Do you have a video to dumb this down for people like me? I’m looking at this setup for a vacation which will involve videos and pictures. I’m thinking I’d like to use one microphone for me, and a 2nd for the train conductor or another family member. How do you get two (or three if possible) mics to work at the same time? Or is that not possible?
      I’m completely confused right now with all these different cameras and setups 🤷‍♂️

    Great video…I had a bad experience with Amazon with my order for one mic…I was going to do what you said but I never received my mic so I just ended up buying the entire kit…an Amazon employee stole my mics twice. This time I paid for the whole transmitters and the mics and paid $372 and I am glad I did. Wasn’t worth the hassle. No I can start my channel

    I bought an extra MIC 2 transmitter for $99 to go with my creator combo. Then I bought the charging case for $69. Question: What is the purpose of buying the receiver when you can simply use Bluetooth to connect both transmitters?

    • @aldoshakur
      @aldoshakur 4 месяца назад +1

      This is exactly what I was wondering. Why not just buy an extra Mic for $99 then just use the internal Bluetooth from the camera for both mics?

    To be honest I was going in the same direction of buying a 1 unit kit + the charhing case. However the cost of full kit in Canada is $479+ Tax where as the cost of 1 Unit Kit is $299 + charging case is 105 which come to $404. Now for just $75 I was getting an extra unit which I could hook up to other cameras, smart phones and laptop. So instead I went with full kit. yes it does saves a bit of case but better than getting an additional unit for $60 extra at later stage. Just my opinion.

    While I'm working on my review of these mics...what do you think of the sound in this video? I'm not thrilled so far with the sound of the built-in mics on the transmitters. Sounds a bit muffled/muddy to me, and I did a little bit of EQ & compression on them in this video. Not sure if maybe it's something DJI could improve with a firmware update, but my initial impression is that the features are great, but the sound is nothing special.

    • @cinebenjamin
      @cinebenjamin 7 месяцев назад +1

      It's usable, but nothing to write home about. I thought they sounded fine until I put the audio against my studio mic the other day, and man it's so obvious the difference in quality.

      Have you turned off the low-cut? Low-cut can affect the richness of the sound quality.

    What about linking the 1 transmitter kit mic? Can it link to the Osmo pocket 3 with the mic that it came with? it would nice to be able to run two mics while recording with it. Just ordered my creator combo yesterday!

    I heard the audio with bluetooth mode is worse than with 2.4ghz mode (when using a iPhone). Is this true also for when using bluetooth with the Osmo Pocket 3? If so, is it possible to use the receiver with the Osmo Pocket 3?

    • @semiprotech
      @semiprotech  4 месяца назад +1

      The connection between the Mic 2 and the Pocket 3 (and Action 4) is actually a different type of bluetooth which offers better quality, but when you connect the Mic 2 transmitter via bluetooth to any other device, the quality is noticeably worse. I actually give a sample of this in my full review video: ruclips.net/video/L25rFU4B83I/видео.html
      You can use the 2.4GHz receiver with the pocket 3 if you have a way to mount it that will work for you. To me the 2.4GHz signal is slightly better than bluetooth with the Pocket 3. I would rank it as follows in terms of sound quality:
      1. 2.4GHz to receiver (good)
      2. Bluetooth with Pocket 3/Action 4 (slightly less good)
      3. Bluetooth with other devices (not good)

    Thank you sir! One question, can we use both mics using the bluetooth connection connected directly to DJI Pocket 3 without the DJI Mic 2 receiver?

    • @semiprotech
      @semiprotech  6 месяцев назад

      Yes! The Pocket 3 can have up to 2 of the transmitters synced to it at one time.

      If I get the osmo pocket 3 without the creator combo and buy these mics for $350 with the receiver will they still work with the pocket 3 via Bluetooth withiut plugging the receiver into the pocket 3?

    Beware recording clips longer that a continuous 20 minutes. The sync will drift - and lip sync will look awful. It is a variable drift upto about 650ms after 70 minutes.

    What happens if you leave the transmitter in (Blue)tooth mode and put in it the charge case and then pull it out again after charging? Does it stay in BT mode and autoconnect to the P3 or do you have to switch back to BT first?

    • @semiprotech
      @semiprotech  6 месяцев назад

      It will stay in bluetooth mode in the case and should connect automatically with the P3 when you take it back out. I did this at first because I didn't know that it had to be in 2.4GHz mode in order to sync with the receiver and when I took the transmitter that came with the P3 back out of the case it was still in BT mode.
