I have a tip for the toys, if you don't want to buy more every week. Simply place all the toys in the cage except one, and in a few weeks, put that toy in and take another toy out. Rotate like this every few weeks, and the old toy seems like new! I'm not sure that'll work for all birds though. It works fine for mine, but your bird might be a bit picky, so I'm sorry if this doesn't work
Comment from year ago, but hey I think I'll try this method. I have some homemade toys too, but most of them is easily destructible so hopefully if I make a new one it'll seem like new to my birb

COCKATIELS ARE THE CUTEST I HAVS ONE AND SHES SO NICE but sadly she doesn’t sing only chirp BUT I STILL LOVE HER SO FREAKING MUCH, originally i had 3 but 2 of them died through the years. They both got really sick and i didnt even realise till the last day that they were actually showing the signs alot. And no, i did not neglect my birds i let them out everytime and let them fly around the house and gave them everysingle bit of love from me.Heres my tip, Cockatiels are really good at hiding their sickness so you really want to look out for symptoms because once they get sick they get sick real fast
Just another thing I’d like to mention. If you are gone most of the day, say you’re a student or work a lot, I would recommend adopting a bonded pair. They will have each other during the time you aren’t there. You can look at websites like Adoptapet.com and find cockatiels in your area. That’s how I found my two lovies.
I also feed Harrison's super fine, but since they don't like fruits and veggies,I feed the high potency on Dr.Harrison's recommendation. These two males are twelve years old and follow me around the house like puppies-right now one is on each shoulder as I'm typing this.
I'm thinking about getting a cockatiel, but I want to be completely prepared. I'm a college student with a lot of hours away from home (I'm gone from 7-4). I have a dog, who is okay with the schedule so long as I run her for an hour every day, but I don't know about how that might translate with a cockatiel. Is that too much time? If it isn't, should I be looking at an extra large cage to give it more to do during the day?
I work 9-6 full time. My Lil guy sleeps in my room with me and the wife. At half six / seven he wakes us up with singing, hitting things or rattles his cage to come out. He has an hour of snuggles or whatever he wants then goes back in himself for breakfast. I get back at half six and he comes back out for however long he needs but usually puts himself away for dinner around 8, he is very food orientated. During the day he is satisfied to sleep and play about in his cage, as on my days off that's what he is happy to do, although I do get him out more on days off.
You need to spend a lot of time with your bird I say at least 2 hours ,a good attitude, and lots of attention .Your bird will mess you when you're around. If you are gone most of the time. I don't think you will have time for a bird. They are your baby they love their mom or dad.Need food of different varieties.Fresh water every day.You need to watch and do research on theses feathers friends.Listening to videos on birds Will help you make up your mind to own these beautiful seices ,they take slot of your time .Watch Joesph videos he is a unbella Cockatiel ,his family is a good example of all the love his mom and dad spending time and money on their birds.
I don't ever trim his beak or claws. I have nice abrasive perches designed to gently file his claws down as he walks on them ( NOT the sand paper ones, they're bad) also he does his own beak on the cuttle bone, toys and rubbing it on things.
We get my parrots nails trimmed bout every 3 months. You should never trim their beaks (unless it is extremely long, a sign of liver disease). The beak is a bone so it would be like trimming our chin.

Hello soon I'm adopting a cockatiel from a family that keep her in their basement with low to medium light and is cold and quiet. She's been there for about a year. When I get her should she be in a busier part of the house or a quieter? We have a young puppy 11 months old. Also is a vision cage or a flight cage better?
That sounds like a horrible place for a bird to be. Good on you for rescuing it. The largest vision cage is great, my bird is very happy in it. I would put her initially in the quiet part of the house to get used to you and the new noises of the house, this may take a while, also if she has never seen a dog before this may terrify her. Birds are very easily frightened and can damage themselves from flapping about. I would take socializing with her very very slowly, as in, just sit next to the cage for maybe a few weeks just to get her used to you and talk to her. You can then try giving her millet or things she likes to try and get her to know you are friendly. Depending on whether she was hand raised or how she has been handled she may warm up to you and be able to be handled but maybe not. It's very dependent on the bird and so many variables. Best advice is to take it slow, follow the advice on my video, especially the part at the end. Birds are so sensitive and can be damaged mentally like any abused animal. But with love and care I imagine she'll warm up to you eventually but it may take years! If you need any more advice feel free to message me, or even checkout www.reddit.com/r/cockatiel its a great place for advice.
Ive had my cockatiel for 3 months. He still hisses at me. He came from a home where he wasn't handled or held much. Do you have any tips on bonding or trust? I am thinking of trying clicker trainer. Thanks :)
I found with my bird it took SO LONG. Almost a year with him. Just stick with it, and only work when the bird is comfortable, or it'll be very stressed and not want to work anymore. Be patient! Its always worth it in the end❤
If the bird is comfortable with it, just clip them as necessary. If your bird won't accept you clipping it's nails, try taking it to a specialist or use a sand paper perch once or maybe twice a week. It will help, but if you use a sand perch too often it could cause your bird's feet to get rougher skin and possibly make their feet a little sore. Nothing major, but just moderate it.
Comment vous dites "bigarré" ( la mutation de cette callopsitte ) dans votre langue? How do you call that cockatiel's mutation in your tongue? It's my favorite.
LlamaMee 18 My vet recommended a 20-24 inch cage in length and width. The measurements you gave would be a little over double the minimum for one bird, so unless I’m mistaken, that’s sounds like a good sized cage for two little ‘tiels.
My mum brought home cockateil today she works at an animal shelter for dog and he/she was dropped off there on the door step because of the dog she said she would take him but he's in a tiny cage like a budgie one what model is your cage it seems a good size
Not sure if this is a good idea or not but my aunt and uncle travel a lot and they have a small cage they have her in when they travel that they put in the backseat and she seams to like it so maybe if you can do something like that
I'm looking forward adopting one and as much as i love those birds their dustiness discourage me from getting one especially since i'm planning on having his cage in my bedroom do they get dusty all the time or is it periodly only
Hi! I’m about to get a cockatiel in a month time and I’m very curious- when you said you ignore bad behaviour and reward good behaviour- let’s say it’s biting or being very noisy- what exactly do you do to show him that you’re ignoring him? Would you put him down and walk out of the room or? I live in apartment and I will really value every training I can possibly do with my cockatiel! :)
It means zero response. So yes put him down and walk out or just completely disregard his action. Doing anything during bad behaviour even eye contact will reward the cockatiel and enforce the behaviour
A bit late but I’m getting a cockatiel for Christmas, any advice? I’ve researched quite a lot but I feel like there are some tips i need to know that I don’t already.
Keep offering him small amounts of fruit and veg chopped into small bits, eventually he may get to like them. Eating them yourself in front of him may spark his interest. Also offer him a cockatiel pellet like harrisons
hi nice video very informative we have 2 cocteils we are managing to bring out using perch but not able to keep it on our hand it's biting our hand from day one any suggestions sir
Is there anything to be aware of? Im worried about ilnessess they can catch. Also,do you need to make awhole seperate room? Because if you you let them fly around they will poo over your belongings.
Plenty, if not the majority of people, have 8 hour work days or school days that own these pets. You don't know what your talking about. They will be just fine if you give them a large cage with plenty of toys.
Evi Marioli everyone is eventually going to have jobs or things to do that take a few hours, your bird will live, they have no idea what they’re talking about
it will take a few months or so for the bird to get to your hand and get start trusting you bu for that you must be slow and not loud so the bird doesnt get scared and you should move fast too because the bird might fly off or jump
I'll be at work for most of the day. Would it be better to get two girl or two boy cockatiels? I'll look to get hand tame ones so they would be friendly towards me. I'll still look to play with them for at least one hour every day.
It depends. How long are you gone? If a 9 - 5 job you don't necessarily have to get two, you can get one once you get a large cage, plenty of good and brain stimulating toys, and food and water. You will need to take him or her out after you come home for a few hours, of course.
I got a boy budgie in the end as they have budgies at a local store where I live. I will get another one sometime in the future but atm Sprite our budgie gets plenty of attention from both me and my bf when we are home.
Im getting a tiel tomorrow and atm im a school student which is 7 hours a day, the cage im getting is fit for 2 tiels but i am only getting one and at the top is a little perch w food and water bowls so if i leave the cage door open while i go to school and let him go in and out would that work while i am at school? Or would he go and move around the room and poop on stuff which my parents wont allow.
Leave him in his cage whilst you are not supervising him. Otherwise he may escape or become hurt. At least in hus cage he is safe. DO NOT leave him free unsupervised anything can happen. Put food and water bowls in the cage for him and plenty of toys and he'll be perfectly happy.
Mine likes to fly to my leg and chill on it for very long. Like over an hour, begging for head scratches, then preening, then taking a nap. Next best option for him is just being in the same room, usually on the back of a chair. He gets pissed if I move or pick him up from my leg. Cockatiels are flock/social birds. They like having their friends close to them. Especially when eating. If you eat close to their cage, they usually join-in and go to their food dish too. The older they get, the more "just chilling together" they want and less "actual playing and training" or songs they want to do. They don't need constant attention for 3 hours. Just at least 3 hours with you with some interractions / petting / sing / train / play during that time. Their attention spawn is very short anyway. A training session is only a few minutes long before they start to get annoyed ( and you don't want to push, that would teach them training = negative ).
Do you need a UV Light for cockatiels? People have been saying birds need that, since windows "block out the natural UV rays." I just wasn't sure since I don't see a lot of people with a light.
Not if you feed them a proper diet including decent quality pellets as this will have the vitamins in to replace the missing uv light. Check out the description for links to food
Oh and I've got two more questions, if you don't mind. Do you have to slowly switch them from what they're eating to something new? Or can you just switch it instantly and they don't care? And, if you feed them greens, do you feed it to them every morning?
Azal - I would imagine in terms of new foods birds would be similar to dogs. With dogs you mix small amounts of the new food into the old food and over time increase the ratio until eventually they're eating mostly just the new food. If you just switch, after they've been on the old food consistently for a long while, they may not take to it, or worst case you will seriously upset their stomach. I would imagine you would take the same steps with birds to ensure the new food doesn't upset their stomach. Try mixing the new food in small portions with their existing meals, and over time lesson the amount of the existing meal and increase how much of the new stuff you're giving.
i usually leave for work at half past 6 ( i wake up at 6 to get my stuff ready to go) and i come home at 4 o clock / half past 5 so basicly 10-11 hours the bird will be alone ( if you dont include the night ) if i would give him all the attention, like after i finish cooking, make him some food too, and then spent the evening with him/her untill its his/her bedtime, would that be ok? or is my work hours just making this impossible to get a birb? ( i mean, i dont have one because this is my biggest issue that keeps me from it)
I have a very similar routine and mine is happy. However I think you need to get up earlier as i give mine a good hour out in the morning and then a few hours in the evening.
Everyday Aquarist thank you for your reply, i Will have a good long thinking on it because even though i know it Will be good for me to have a Birb to love and take care off i need to be sure the birb is gonna be happy with me or it would be selfish, especially seeing how old they can get
Everyday Aquarist unfortunatly i wont be able to take care of two birbs, financially and time wise, I do have a tv i read it could help but Yeah i gotta do Some more research. I would also need to change allot in my house. Like all my pans are non stick, even though i read in my country they arent allowed to sell non stick containing teflon. I cant know for sure as Its not written on it.
help! I got some new cockatiels and they aren't drinking any water! I've tried everything, I've replaced their water bowl, gave them papaya nectar (no sugar or anything just papaya juice) I even put apples and carrots in their water. I am very sad with them and I don't know what to do
They only drink a small amount a day so it's possible that they are but you haven't seen them. If your sure then you will need to take them to a vet immediately
My grandmother is getting me to cockatiels for my birthday of male and female but I'm a bit scared because I have never had a female cockatiel only males and I don't know if they need anything different than the males please help
Can this cage hang by the wall or it should be placed on some surface like the floor? I also had an idea in my head that that short cages are better then taller ones. I guess you would say the taller ones are better because you have one, but can you explain why. I just got a cockatiel for a present almost a week ago but i will need to buy a bigger cage for sure. Also can you give some advice on how to go about letting him out of the cage. I haven't done that because i think it needs to adjust to me before and not be afraid of me. Like now it's still a little affraid, but i can caress his head but i can't get him to step on my finger just yet. Am i right thinking that a bird needs to be comfortable enough to step on my finger before i let him out of the cage? Because i imagine it can be quite a tast to get him back in the first time you do it.
Bigger cage is always better for the bird because it will have more space to do things in when your not around. Letting him adjust for a week or two is a good idea and its excellent that he will already step up and let you stroke him. Just give him more time. When you let him out make sure to stay calm and make sure all reflective surfaces like mirrors and windows are covered and closed! Until they have learned about walls / windows they might fly into them if they get scared.
I don't think you understood what i was trying to say about cages. In description you have a link for the cage you are using. But on that link you can chose 2 types of cages. One like you have and the other version is short and much wider. I thought that wider cage is better then taller one. So i was surprised you are using the tall version of the cage. Also i was looking on some forum and most of bird people there also think that wider cages are better. Some say birds are not helicopters, that's why they are better. And that cocatiels mostly hang around in the same hight level and move more from side to side. That's why wider cages are better, because more space in the cage is actually used by the bird. Isn't that so? It's also interesting that for that cage you are using it's not stated that it's for Cockatiels. But if i google cages for Cockatiels i mostly find crapy cages. Just so much confusion.
Oooo now i see. I guess i was wrong. Those 2 types of cages are actually the same as the width goes but the tall version is taller, so of course bigger is better. But i am still wondering can it hang in the air by the wall or it should be on a flat surface?
You didn't answer me if that cage can hang by the wall or it can be only placed on a flat surface. Does the bottom of the cage allow to be hanged? Are the grates strong enough so that cage can hang or would they band? Also i have noticed my bird loves fresh green salad. Can there be too much of a green salad? Or i can give him as much as i want?
Kawaii C.G.I everything can easily cost 300$ because a cage can be anywhere from 100-150$ (well at least if you want a big home for your bird) I have a big cage because I like to spoil my bird and make him as happy as possible. Toys and perches can cost about 90$ food and treats can cost 50$ food dishes, cuttlebone and outside perches can cost 50$
I have a tip for the toys, if you don't want to buy more every week. Simply place all the toys in the cage except one, and in a few weeks, put that toy in and take another toy out. And no, i did not neglect my birds i let them out everytime and let them fly around the house and gave them everysingle bit of love from me.Heres my tip, Cockatiels are really good at hiding their sickness so you really want to look out for symptoms because once they get sick they get sick real fast
Pretty Fluff! :*
I’m getting a cockatiel tomorrow! I’m SOOOO Exited
How is it? Am getting one soon
very nice video. great btd
Very helpful. How is getting a bird to social life?
Its fine just as long as it gets the time it needs. Mines In a very good routine now and is asleep by 7pm
you sound like daniel radcliffe
Moon WE FOUND HARRY POTTER!!!😂
do u mean HARRY POTTAH
thanks for helping at the pet store
Just another thing I’d like to mention. If you are gone most of the day, say you’re a student or work a lot, I would recommend adopting a bonded pair. They will have each other during the time you aren’t there. You can look at websites like Adoptapet.com and find cockatiels in your area. That’s how I found my two lovies.
Am getting a cockatail!!!
Your dog will probably try to kill the cockatiel.
I m going to get one so thank you for the infoXD
how often do you get his beak trimmed? and what about the claws, is that something you can do on your own?
I don't ever trim his beak or claws. I have nice abrasive perches designed to gently file his claws down as he walks on them ( NOT the sand paper ones, they're bad) also he does his own beak on the cuttle bone, toys and rubbing it on things.
Everyday Aquarist Okay, good to hear. Many bird owners say you gotta take your bird to the vet to do this. I know one guy who goes EVERY MONTH.
Space Dorito if the vet is doing this for him every month then he is held accountable too!
We get my parrots nails trimmed bout every 3 months. You should never trim their beaks (unless it is extremely long, a sign of liver disease). The beak is a bone so it would be like trimming our chin.
Frøken Norge Hwordan har du det? Helvete! Jävla! Hura! Jeg spiser fisk I dag! Sorry for the spam. Norwegian is a gorgeous language but I'm not that skilled yet 😅
I got two and they hate human contact they hiss and peck hard ☹️ I'm so nice to them I let them out all day to shit on my curtains and they repay me with a nip 😭
Also she has little to no interaction from the people who 'wanted' her. She's scared or angry of every thing
Everyday Aquarist thank you so much!
Oh my gosh!! I just saw your video and it was a coincidence that your teil's name is Loki.. same with mine 😉😉😉
Ive had my cockatiel for 3 months. He still hisses at me. He came from a home where he wasn't handled or held much. Do you have any tips on bonding or trust? I am thinking of trying clicker trainer. Thanks :)
same here ;-;
Try hand feeding
Wow such a good advice. And how do you do that?
I found with my bird it took SO LONG. Almost a year with him. Just stick with it, and only work when the bird is comfortable, or it'll be very stressed and not want to work anymore. Be patient! Its always worth it in the end❤
MommaTs Piggies try and get him to pass onto perches then slowly introduce your finger as a perch
What type of perches would I get to trim down the nails? (I know not to get the sand ones)
Pied
Thank you very much
I am getting a cockatiel or two. It Is my first time and Is 51x51x155cm cage ok? And Would It fit 1 or 2?
LlamaMee 18 My vet recommended a 20-24 inch cage in length and width. The measurements you gave would be a little over double the minimum for one bird, so unless I’m mistaken, that’s sounds like a good sized cage for two little ‘tiels.
I luckily work from home so my cockatiel is out all the time pretty much! Unless I go somewhere then he goes in his cage 😇
My sun conure’s name is Loki 😂 I’m getting a cockatiel tomorrow
my brother's cat is named loki
1:27 did you say millet
yeah. millet spray
Haha no I was making a joke because the bird popped its head up like "did I hear millet " :)
great video, very informative. can you have more than one cocktail together, and if so what would a adequate size cage be for 2?
Thanks I tend to have a few cocktails at a time
My mum brought home cockateil today she works at an animal shelter for dog and he/she was dropped off there on the door step because of the dog she said she would take him but he's in a tiny cage like a budgie one what model is your cage it seems a good size
If that cage is small.....then my bird"s cage doesn"t excist lol
Evi Marioli - not a laughing matter, if that's the case then you need a bigger cage.
That is a huge cage!!!
its a normal size cage..
Then you should get a bigger cage then its something you should not laugh
@@miaanaliese6504 exactly right!
So if I got a bird and I had to go on vacation and I couldn't bring him what should I do?? Like a 1 week vaca
Pet care
Ok cool thx :)
Not sure if this is a good idea or not but my aunt and uncle travel a lot and they have a small cage they have her in when they travel that they put in the backseat and she seams to like it so maybe if you can do something like that
Buy two
Get him with you. Thomas Cook, British Airways, Easy Jet etc. allow pets. Get a travel cage and a travel suit.
Thanks for making this video I'm about to get a cockatiel and I know nothing about birds
Itzzz Panda before buying you need to know everything
I have that exact cage for my Budgie
Where did you buy the cage? I need a bigger one for my cockatiel
U can order it on amazon
I'm looking forward adopting one and as much as i love those birds their dustiness discourage me from getting one especially since i'm planning on having his cage in my bedroom
do they get dusty all the time or is it periodly only
Pretty dusty, get an air purifier
lovely bird!!!!!
how long does the bag of Harrison pellets last?
@everydayaquarist what cage brand us that?
Vision, link in video description
Just take everything slow with him/her. Don't force anything
I just adopted a 1 year old male cockatiel He will not eat any fruits or vegetables. What can I do to supplement his diet? Thank you.
Keep offering him small amounts of fruit and veg chopped into small bits, eventually he may get to like them. Eating them yourself in front of him may spark his interest. Also offer him a cockatiel pellet like harrisons
How big of a cage would you recommend for 2 cockatiels?
hi nice video very informative we have 2 cocteils we are managing to bring out using perch but not able to keep it on our hand it's biting our hand from day one any suggestions sir
Millet
Is there anything to be aware of? Im worried about ilnessess they can catch. Also,do you need to make awhole seperate room? Because if you you let them fly around they will poo over your belongings.
Hey so I'm at school about 8 hours a day, should I get two?
You should get none since you dont seem to have enough time for one uh wait until your done with school
Plenty, if not the majority of people, have 8 hour work days or school days that own these pets. You don't know what your talking about. They will be just fine if you give them a large cage with plenty of toys.
Beanii AGREE.....according to them...if I own a cockatiel its a 24/7 job
Evi Marioli everyone is eventually going to have jobs or things to do that take a few hours, your bird will live, they have no idea what they’re talking about
Just get lots of toys :)
ho thank u
can u tell me how many days will take to tame bird which is not hand raised
It really depends on the bird and how long you try each day.
it will take a few months or so for the bird to get to your hand and get start trusting you bu for that you must be slow and not loud so the bird doesnt get scared and you should move fast too because the bird might fly off or jump
hello. How much does it take for a cockatiel to adapt to their owners ?
Melissa Isaac well it's bird to bird bases but 6 weeks to 12 weeks and sometimes 6 months! Depending on where you get them and how shy they are
I have school and I'm gone for about 8hrs should I buy another One too keep company ?
I'm gonna need a bigger cage XD
Hello. Can you provide a link to the cage you have?
I have added a link to it in the video description
Where did you get your bird?
How old is your cockatiel?
I'll be at work for most of the day. Would it be better to get two girl or two boy cockatiels? I'll look to get hand tame ones so they would be friendly towards me. I'll still look to play with them for at least one hour every day.
It depends. How long are you gone? If a 9 - 5 job you don't necessarily have to get two, you can get one once you get a large cage, plenty of good and brain stimulating toys, and food and water. You will need to take him or her out after you come home for a few hours, of course.
I've heard males are usually better. Females can be more likely to bite, and are less likely to sing or talk.
I have a cage that is 12 inches in length, 12 inches in width and 18 inches in height. Is this a suitable cage for a cockatiel?
Hello, no that is far to small. You need 24x24x18 at the very minimum. The bird would be very unhappy in that size cage.
+Everyday Aquarist Okay, thank you very much!
Josh Richards cages are just for them to eat, sleep or stay when you aren't around. other than that, thee cage should remain opened.
my question is do cockatiles have moment when its just want to be alone or just to be around and dosnet do anything?
What type of cage is that
My cockatiel had a decent cage I think~20m² my living room ;-)
nice video ty
R u tamed from child baby cockatiel?
Do you need a UV Light for cockatiels? People have been saying birds need that, since windows "block out the natural UV rays." I just wasn't sure since I don't see a lot of people with a light.
Not if you feed them a proper diet including decent quality pellets as this will have the vitamins in to replace the missing uv light. Check out the description for links to food
Awesome, thank you. I plan on buying the same pellets you use. ^^
Ah ok, thanks.
Why are the Harrison pellets packages different colors
Different sizes and pellet types
i usually leave for work at half past 6 ( i wake up at 6 to get my stuff ready to go)
and i come home at 4 o clock / half past 5
so basicly 10-11 hours the bird will be alone ( if you dont include the night )
if i would give him all the attention, like after i finish cooking, make him some food too, and then spent the evening with him/her untill its his/her bedtime,
would that be ok? or is my work hours just making this impossible to get a birb? ( i mean, i dont have one because this is my biggest issue that keeps me from it)
I have a very similar routine and mine is happy. However I think you need to get up earlier as i give mine a good hour out in the morning and then a few hours in the evening.
Everyday Aquarist thank you for your reply, i Will have a good long thinking on it because even though i know it Will be good for me to have a Birb to love and take care off i need to be sure the birb is gonna be happy with me or it would be selfish, especially seeing how old they can get
Good idea. You may also consider getting it a friend like a budgie to keep it company during the day. They can live in separate cages if necessary.
Everyday Aquarist unfortunatly i wont be able to take care of two birbs, financially and time wise,
I do have a tv i read it could help but Yeah i gotta do Some more research. I would also need to change allot in my house. Like all my pans are non stick, even though i read in my country they arent allowed to sell non stick containing teflon. I cant know for sure as Its not written on it.
Is it okay that my cockatiel is always out of the cage
How often do you clean his cage?
once a week is how often youre suppost to do it
Did u have urs since a baby?
What cage have you got?
My grandmother is getting me to cockatiels for my birthday of male and female but I'm a bit scared because I have never had a female cockatiel only males and I don't know if they need anything different than the males please help
No differences that I've noticed. The female might start making a nest from time to time. Better read a few books.
You are running a really great business here. Asking peope to use your affiliate links and ignoring the simpile quiestions. Great job mate.
if my cockatiel isn't tame do I still let him out he's been out once and took ages to get him back in
I think you should try to bond with him a bit, at least get him to be able to step up, try using millet as a reward
Can we keep one cocktail has a pet
Can you teach them to poop only in their cage? Or will they just poop around the house?
Great Video :)
How much did it all cost approximately??
Kawaii C.G.I everything can easily cost 300$ because a cage can be anywhere from 100-150$ (well at least if you want a big home for your bird) I have a big cage because I like to spoil my bird and make him as happy as possible. Toys and perches can cost about 90$ food and treats can cost 50$ food dishes, cuttlebone and outside perches can cost 50$
I. Have mine since 3 weeks now... He always wants to be out of his cage... Always
How can I hand tame them ?
There's a bunch of videos around right here on youtube! Just go watch them
Did you clip your bird's wings?
No
Can we keep a single cockatile at home
As long as you spend a lot of time with your bird it is fine, you could do more research right before you get one so you can take care of them greatly
how many days taken to tame ur bird
He was hand raised, so tame immediately
Yay if that cage is small mines a mansion to mine lmao
