Thank you for the compliment--It depends on if you use a trem a lot--If you do, go for the Beck; if not, the EJ As far as tonality goes between the two, the Beck is a strat that can cover a lot of bases. The Vintage noiseless pickups on it are a little hotter than the std noiseless. The EJ has a very distinctive sound the pickups are wound to Eric's specs and have a sound entirely all their own the radius on the EJ is 12", the Beck 9.5"--I hope I've not confused you, and thanks again. M Lucas
The EJ Strat is $1689.99 with case. The Jeff Beck Strat is $1429.99 with case. Both guitars would have free shipping if your not out of the country. Use coupon code: fender35 at check out to get these prices. Thanks
i have one of these and they are fantastic. Believe it or not I added in the two extra springs and tightened down that bridge!! I rarely use the trem and like to be able to change tunings withoout having everything go crazy.
great tone (and voicings) on the chords during the intro - since I already own a couple of strats your video help me decide to go with the noiseless HOT pickups instead of the noiseless vintage pickups in my FSR...
Does it go out tune easy when using basic Jeff Beck tremelo phrasing? I watched another guys video and he claimed it stayed in tune really well- but then I saw he edited his video right after doing the Jeff Beck phrasing- so it was mis-leading- I think these pickups are the nicest technology you could put in a strat
Apart form your demos being among the best on the Internet, I would suggest using a looper pedal, a guitarist such as yourself would use it great, cause it is obvious that you are an improviser, a jazz guitarist, and it would be very good for the demos let's say if you would record a riff using the neck pickup and then solo with the bridge pickup over it. Best regards Mark and NTStuffMusic
@NstuffMusic Hello Mark, How would you compare the n3 noiseless pickups on the deluxe to the hot noiseless on the jeff beck. Are the hot noiseless less fender like or just hotter or maybe warmer?
@poprostudaniel I don't think it's a higher class guitar than the American Deluxe Strat it just has some different features like the roller nut and the ceramic pickups are a little hotter.
@MrOzgooner Over all the noiseless picks have a bit more lower midrange punch than a standard strat single coil . the hots have more output and a little more upper midrange tone.
A SG has a 12" radius. The older JB neck might be thicker than a SG neck but had a 12" radius. The new JB has a 9.5" radius but the thickness of the neck is probably closer to a SG.
Is there really that big a difference between the older model's 12" radius and the newer 9.5"? All I want is a strat with a neck thickness as similar to my SG standard as possible - would this be the one? Or would I be better off finding a 12"? Thanks!
How can i set my bridge up as Jeff Beck. I tried that with trem king bridge that was good,it provide more sustain provide but it wasn’t comfortable. So i tried wilkinson that was good too. But i couldn’t set up it. I used two spring to gain more sensivity but i wasn’t like Jeff Beck’s bridge. So what can i do now?
The Eric Clapton has a more traditional Strat tone. It has the 25db of mid gain on the tone know which is like putting a tube screamer in front of your guitar. The Beck pickups are a hotter and brighter. The EC Strat is $1429.99 and the JB Strat is $1429.99 both would have free shipping if your not out of the country. Use coupon code: fender35 at nstuffmusic.
@BullToTheShit They come stock with 3 springs. Are you floating the bridge a little not letting rest against the body because that would help with the flutter.
I have one from the 90s with Lace Sensor pickups, and the new model as well with the noiselless pickups, and I really prefer the older model you have more harmonics, the fat neck allows you to do higher bendings, the TBX tone control is a plus also,I think its a very unique guitar, the new model its OK but it has a more vintage type of sound, also not as powerful as the older one.
i own a custom shop -i bought it new -2000 euros now its over 2500.-2008 model-and it goes more expensive custom and american seem to have same specs-its not- try them with no amp..the custom has titan vibrations it sakes your hole body....because of better wood quality and HANDMADE constuction. -jeff DONT use custom shop he's stuck at his 70' strat. -but custom beck is the best guitar for me ..so many tones so many possibilities.... -the strat chapter closed for me...now its time for a tele-
if this is the real deal , wheres the locking nut on the end of the neck , that tells me that , more than one feature is missing on this axe , thanks but no thanks.
Thanks for mentioning the locking tuners. Took me four separate vids for someone to mention this detail.
I always watch nstuffmusic videos, just to see Mark play!!!!!! SUCH A GREAT PLAYER!!!!!!!!
love his chords, could listen all day :D

I have a buddy who owns a 90s Jeff Beck strat and it is one of the smoothest playing guitars I have ever jammed on.
The EJ Strat is $1689.99 with case. The Jeff Beck Strat is $1429.99 with case. Both guitars would have free shipping if your not out of the country. Use coupon code: fender35 at check out to get these prices. Thanks
Very helpful! All the other guitar players demonstrating this axe are doing their best Jeff Beck impersonation with no clean sounds.
i have one of these and they are fantastic. Believe it or not I added in the two extra springs and tightened down that bridge!! I rarely use the trem and like to be able to change tunings withoout having everything go crazy.

@strings191 The Fender Jeff Beck Strat has locking tuners and a LSR roller nut. No locking nut.

@soc555555 Sorry, I thought we had a demo of the H2O up. We will get one up very soon. Thanks PNS
@NstuffMusic
Hello Mark,
How would you compare the n3 noiseless pickups on the deluxe to the hot noiseless on the jeff beck.
Are the hot noiseless less fender like or just hotter or maybe warmer?
@soc555555 We are out of stock on both those pedals, but as soon as we receive them we will post the vids.
Really like your big open voicings.
Question, which pickups are more bass responsive or warmer like the fat 50s? The Vintage noiseless or the hot noiseless?
A SG has a 12" radius. The older JB neck might be thicker than a SG neck but had a 12" radius. The new JB has a 9.5" radius but the thickness of the neck is probably closer to a SG.
Nice demo! :) Do you consider Jeff Becks signature as higher class guitar than Fender Deluxe Stratocaster/ or some American Standards from the 90's?
Is there really that big a difference between the older model's 12" radius and the newer 9.5"? All I want is a strat with a neck thickness as similar to my SG standard as possible - would this be the one? Or would I be better off finding a 12"? Thanks!
Pretty, sweet nice guitar !!!!!
@DaysOfHippies What did you not like about the original trem?
How can i set my bridge up as Jeff Beck. I tried that with trem king bridge that was good,it provide more sustain provide but it wasn’t comfortable. So i tried wilkinson that was good too. are there 2 model of jeff beck, the signature and the custom shop isn't it? what are the difference and the price? ty
These are “hot noiseless” pickups?
@BullToTheShit They come stock with 3 springs. Are you floating the bridge a little not letting rest against the body because that would help with the flutter.

Nice to hear a bit of 'Led Boots ' !
Great, thanks a lot!
traditional strat tone? then what's John Mayer's tone defined as?
SOUND quality!
@NstuffMusic i tried but it wasn't like jeff beck. jeff beck's setup different
What about the weight of the guitar ?
i own the 93 fat neck puppy, it's a keeper
did you change anything in bridge?
@strings191 Well at least his name is on the headstock....
When exactly did they change from huge 12" to thin 9'5" ?
@soc555555 We just uploaded the H2O v2 demo.
what about if im in Mexico? could you send me the guitar??
What's the point in saturating it in effects? Just play it straight
you like strat or sg?
Hmm. There's a lot of noise coming from those noiseless pickups.
@BullToTheShit Those 6 screws in the front should not be in all the way the bridge should float a little in the front as well.
do you have any justin bieber strats?
No, they dropped them for the Lil Wayne models.
@@gerberbernstein7360 i wish!!
great playing but to me it sounds nothing at all like a good strat should..........
You probably wouldn't want to buy this one then.
i own a custom shop -i bought it new -2000 euros now its over 2500.-2008 model-and it goes more expensive

The ceramic noiseless pickup sounds dull and lifeless tho others would say the same about the vintage noiseless strat alnico pickups as well.
TRY 2 SPRINGS:CHECK ME OUT.
Min 3:45 noiseless pickups making noise?
@strings191
