@@MarcGuitarVideos I like it when it has a specific topic like a technique, theory etc like this one has the BB box and how to use it...but I do like it when you have a solo too...
👍 Marc BTW, the other day I checked out a G&L Fullerton ASAT, wow ‼️ it's a telecaster on striods .. definitely a thicker tone. I think it's definitely a better built guitar, also the body seemed smaller, closer to an Ibanez AZS Prestige body. I was looking at a professional 2 telecaster BUT I will get the G&L and maybe later get a mexican telecaster.
@@MarcGuitarVideosI will definitely get one ‼️ the fender is nice BUT G&L 👍.I understand that if you lower the pick ups, it gives a cleaner tone like a Fender.
Hey Marc, i'm confused about keys, i understand this lesson is in the key of A but what if i were to play the same lesson on the 13-17 fret area, what key would that be in? where can i find a lesson that explains all the keys?
Each fret is a semi tone. So in this lesson, we start with our index finger on the 10th fret of B string. That note is A so we are in the key of A. If we move everything up one fret, then our index finger on B string is now 11th fret which is A#/Bb. Up another fret and we are in B. Up one more fret and our index finger, B string is now 13th fret which puts us in the key of C. Also, I made a video called 'Essential Music Theory for Blues Guitarists' where I cover all the basic music theory you need in a bout 12 mins.
@@MarcGuitarVideos Thankyou very much for that explanation, it helped a great deal, i'm going to do a search for that video of yours and watch it......thanks again, very much appreciated.
It works over all 3 chords, however over the IV chord avoid bending the 2nd note up a whole tone (in A, this would be bending the B string at the 12th fret). Instead, play the flat 3rd (in A, this is 13th fret B string). Other than that it works beautifully!
Appreciate all you do to help us starving artists! Another great lesson Marc!
Thank you, that's a very kind email

Can you use the BB Box over the I, IV, and V chords in a blues, or does it only really work over the I chord?
