What is special about your lessons is the right mix of technique , melody and theory. All too often RUclips presenters avoid theory ,loudly announcing that "there will be no boring tedious theory (snarling as they say that word). Instead they give us worthless 7-9, 10-12, 5-7 dots that could not be less helpful if you tried. Your mix is spot on and that's the reason I joined your Patreon.
Hey Brother, thank you for your lesson, I am 78 years old and still bending strings and chasing tone. Now that is a beautiful guitar, I do have a Gibson Tobacco Burst standard, but I really love your Les. I have played Fenders most of my playin years, since 1962/63 ,surf music in California's west coast. I first started with Jimmy Reed . Thanks again .
You simplify the BB box for me. I've been waiting for someone to show me the way. A lot of other teachers are too quick. don't explain it well you're doing a great job thanks
Another great lesson which is much appreciated by this beginner/ intermediate. Thanks for giving use the breakdown and slow detailed solo with methods to use it in the 12 bar blues. I get so much out of your lessons each time I watch. Really good thanks !
Just a thought, since you mentioned about the patron page. Might be good to mention search for the videos by date. There is probably an easier way but that works best for me so far. If I'm just being dense, please enlighten me. Thanks Adrian! Dave in the Adirondacks 🤠
Way back in the mid 70s a spotty little apprentice found an old copy of some music paper, in it was a review of a gig featuring a young Eric Clapton, who of course the apprentice had heard of, one line stood out "he's as good as BB King " who? The rest, as they say, is history At the risk of kissing arse, I'm showing this lesson, because of your teaching skills, to my grandson I sound like I'm using my feet after you, keep up the good work
Funny fact. Lampa ( a like in ah in Sarah - lampah? ) in Polish stands for lamp. But also for valve amp. Wzmacniacz lampowy (lamp amplifier), or lampa for short. Guess that makes me a fan of lamps as well.
Again, Adrian, thank you for an excellent video with a great blend of theory, tasty licks, humour and lightning. Your Les Paul looks and sounds fabulous...wish you would use it more. My opinion is it really does suit your expressive playing style. Please, more 12 bar blues if you can. You are appreciated. PS I wonder if you could tell us what guage strings you use?
Welcome back Adrian! Good to see you amigo! Dave in the Adirondacks Like the grey, of course that's coming from a guy that still prefers film in the hands of someone like Edward Weston, but I digress.
FOR ALL THAT IS GOOD IN LIFE, make a lesson on Hollywood Nocturne by the ghastly ones. They are a very underrated surf rock band and this song is absolutely amazing. So please consider making a video on this song.👌🏼👌🏼🤘🤘👍👍
Really love this lesson, thank you so much for sharing. I am a beginner and just wondered what the chord progression was in the background if you wanted to strum along?
Another stellar lesson, Adrian. The studio revamp looks great. I have a burning question however. When you plan out your video tutorials, how do decide on which particular guitar do you pull from your quiver to instruct from? Is it the Tele? Is it the Les Paul? Perhaps the Gretsch?
Sei bravissimo👏👏👍.sono un anziano tuo iscritto, mi rimane difficile seguirti xche'non capisco quello che dici.Si possono avere le Tab?,scusami e Grazie👍👍👋👋
Listening to the rhythm track, sounds like 9th chords on the iv and v chords? Not too important, but the tab shows 7th chords. Maybe he said that somewhere and I missed it!
Nice job on the new look studio.I think you missed a trick however, instead of the BB Box perhaps the solo from Jimmy Jones's Handyman might have been more appropriate. Take it easy maestro 😎🎸✅🔨
A school friend gave me the Regal album in 1966 and my head did a 360 met BB around 1972 no one around after a performance and he gave me 2 hours of chat time. Lovely man. I still have not heard a perfect match of his one note vibrato. He tried to explain to me why I could not replicate his style. I was too stupid to get it.
@@dommccaffry3802 thanks. Equally big thrill in my life was hanging with the Hellecasters 25 years ago. Nicest guys, monster players if you're familiar with them. I got personal lessons from Will and Jerry. I could not stop shaking from being nervous. Jerry showed me how to correctly finger pick the Monkey's last train to Clarksville. Sadly Jerry incurred a stroke and cannot share his brilliance with us. Thanks Happy picking from Toronto.
@@martydibergi5228 hey marty : great to chat ! Never heard of hellecasters ! I'll check em out. Think ive got last train to clarksville down ! Greetings from the damp , cloudy uk !
@@dommccaffry3802 U.k. great Albert Lee is here this upcoming week and will be seeing him again. Live shows are mind boggling. He tours England a lot too. Highly recommended to see him live 🌞

I was figuring BB box.. watching many videos but this video answered my search
Grey is very nice. So was red. Thanks for your lessons. Seriously great info.

Wow, love the cool ACG chords at the start❤
I love the way you play the Blues ....Awesome
Thank you
Love your new studio. Thank you so much for your tutorial.
love that lamp!
In my opinion it is BB King style except you do it much better than he ever did! You are really good! I know you know that!
Brilliant. Your blues content is the best.
Bit of a necro post here, but I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed this lesson. Thank you

Great lesson Adrian.

Great, helpful lessons. Thanks
Really enjoyed your demo of BB King style.
Outstanding lesson. Thank you. Really helped me.
Superb as usual, and of particular interest to Peter Green fans. Very Merry Go Round.

Nice refurb job!
Hey Adrian, you could add some edge and mystic to the room with black lights and a lava lamp....
As always, another great lesson! Thanks.
60% of the time, it works every time 👍🏼

Love the new look for your studio. But you know, a new SG on that guitar rack would do wonders for the room! : )
Good stuff, thanks :)
I like a nice lamp as well.
Beautiful guitar 😯
I love the way you explain the BB box, BB King is my hero, now I have another one. Thank you for the lesson.

It's a 12 bar in A so the chords are A7, D7 and E7. Listen for the changes.

That was great bro! Sub'd! Killer tone too, man, obviously most of it is your fingers but what are you playing through?
so...the B.B. BOX is 2 frets past the famous House or 4 note blues solo you see all over youtube?
Yeah, you take the first right after the Albert King box...
I tried to get your tabs, but I didn't find them.can you attach them to this video and also the backingtrack.

Any jam track to go with this lesson
grey is great
Which guitar do you play on?
Adrian, can't seem to locate the tab on the BB Box video. I can get the backing track but do not see the tab.
What's the difference between bb box and extension on the Minor Pentatonix?
BB adds a sixth and a nine to the minor pentatonic.
What les paul is this. It looks amazing
I love a lamp😂😂cool
Just listen to live at the regal several dozen times, it'll sink in. Good luck with the vibrato though !
