@@bearclooneywatches4186 that’s my point, I haven’t got tired of it. And in any case I have become tired of certain remarkable timepieces before. My rhodesium Yachtmaster for example. Just because a timepiece is remarkable does not guarantee the wearer will never tire of it. More understated watches tend to have less wow factor when you begin wearing them again after a substantial amount of time off the wrist, yet the wearer does not tire of wearing it, whereas flashier timepieces are more instantly appealing but that appeal is more likely to wear off faster. That is in my experience.
Great video sir. Wonderful that you have black dial and white dial. One for day wear and one for evening wear. Black dial to me seems better to read. All the best to you an family keep great videos coming sir.

Great watches bear , but I still think the previous steel bezel model is a much more flowing piece . The steel bezel compliments the bracelet, as the ceramic bezel on the new model seem to stop the flow of the watch . The steel bezel seems to tie everything in , Just a personal opinion.

Great vid!!! My opinion... both sport Rolex, but the white dial is more sporty the black is more dressy. I hope Rolex doesn’t change the Daytona to a Super Oyster case. If you are friends with your local AD, next on the “list”, or a high dollar VIP customer. Go for it. I think the days of wear n tear patina are gone. @@bearclooneywatches4186 I own the white ceramic and a black pre ceramic. They are both awesome and i don't take sides because they both can serve a purpose for a particular occasion.
In my humble opinion, the white dial is best in stainless, while the black dial is best in gold. Now, there’s no way around this, the full gold black dial Daytona is most suiting men with dark or tanned skin color. So platinum is grail ))
Mark Reynolds LoL But you can “pull off” a full gold watch even today. Even without a crusty tan. Just not a huge sports Rolex. But a dress watch with elegant suit...just maybe. I’m very pro white gold for white guys though

@@bearclooneywatches4186 7:10 - Thanks for going over this point. It gives me shiver when people call the white dial on 116500 a "Panda" dial when it isn't, strictly speaking.
I do not like the modern Daytona. Aesthetically, the best Daytona, IMHO, is the Ref. 6265. I would really like this Ref. reissued in 40mm, because everything is so well thought on that model: The bezel is not too narrow, not to wide (the ceramic bezel is disproportionate, and did not need to be so), the dial was uncluttered in the 6265, with a good separation between the sub-dials that improve legibility and, by the way, they were perfectly position related to the center of the dial, also helping to the symmetry and general harmony of the design. Also, it had just the right amount of text. Of course, since now it is an automatic movement and Rolex likes to add it "Oyster perpetual" feature text, the change from 37 to 40mm would help make the dial less busy even with this text added and as in Ref. 6265, they could get rid of the three, six and nine indices to separate more the sub-dials and center them, improving legibility symmetry as mentioned before and give space for the additional text. Great video as always. I always enjoy your no-nonsense and humble approach to watch reviews.
Always bringing us the quality content, Bear. They are a pair of duelling pistols and deserve to be together. Thank you, sir!

However, after watching this vid, and seeing them side/side...
I have to say there is something perfect about the proportions of the Blk Dial...
Maybe it’s time for my collection to make room for the Blk Dial variant????
Also, you’re absolutely right about being blessed that you’re able to own both! Keep Up the great work my friend!
blazinmark1 thank you my dear friend. So good to see you again on my channel. I appreciate your presence and comments, but above all your friendship.
I own neither, I prefer the black! White one reminds me of tag
DLH thank you.
Love both so got both
Panda all day my friend! Keep up the great work !!
SoCal Watch Reviews thank you my friend
I’m glad other people like the Daytonas as I prefer the Submariner, Datejust 41 and Explorer II.
Reviews4Fun those are great choices in my opinion
Yup great watches
I’d be honoured to own either.
But, if I had to choose between the two I think I’d have to go with the black.
No, wait.
The white.
Then again, on second thoughts,
The black.
Just a second.
The white.
Umm, the black
Actually,The white.
Uuuugh.
The black.
No wait.
The white!!
Oh crap. I’ve reconsidered.
The black.
No. The white.
The white.
Yep. The white.
Greg Sheppo 😂 😂 Exactly
Brilliant! 😁
Hilarious. Spot on. Get out of my head! I'm leaning black dial for the next 10 minutes.
In videos / pictures the panda looks best - in person it’s the black dial
Thank you
Yep I just compared them at a local grey dealer and have bought the black. I already have a polar explorer ii and white gets bit boring with time.
Any chance you will explain us how to get "by chance" a Rolex Hulk, a pepsi, a Batman, a Daytona Black, a Daytona White? It is a lot of luck for a single man... We are all curious. Even the Pontif, the guru's guru Archie Luxury cannot achieve that.
BobGolob in 13 or 5 minutes? 😂
@@bearclooneywatches4186 ah ah, if you answer that, I m ready to listen for 6min :-D
@@BobGolob lol
Black, obviously.
Woody Clark thank you 🙏
I would get the two tone ceramic daytona for half the price..
Half price? Really?
That white dial is stunning.
Brummie Doug it sure is. Thank you
Loved the video although I found the white dial version to be larger wearing than the black as well as more legible to read than the black..
Nicholas Alonso thank you so much for watching and sharing your observations
You are so welcome... you are the only one to have a real watch enthusiast channel.
Nicholas Alonso thank you. I appreciate that.
I prefer the white Panda Dial its Makes the best combo for me 👍
I prefer the white dial. Find it more legible. Also looks more prestigious from where I'm sitting.
Galaga thanks buddy. Always good to see you.
I’m also blessed enough to own both watches, and personally I prefer the white face.
Both are a joy to behold though 👌
Bulldog Badger for sure.
black Daytona
Looks better than white
Would be nice to have both
HASSANAMIN thank you. Welcome to my channel
Does it?
Derek Holyfield what do you think?
@@bearclooneywatches4186 I own the white ceramic and a black pre ceramic. They are both awesome and i don't take sides because they both can serve a purpose for a particular occasion.
Derek Holyfield we are both very lucky and blessed
In my humble opinion, the white dial is best in stainless, while the black dial is best in gold. Now, there’s no way around this, the full gold black dial Daytona is most suiting men with dark or tanned skin color.
So platinum is grail ))
Yasha V thank you for watching and sharing your opinion
Mark Reynolds
LoL
But you can “pull off” a full gold watch even today. Even without a crusty tan. Just not a huge sports Rolex. But a dress watch with elegant suit...just maybe.
I’m very pro white gold for white guys though
Black
khalid0 thank you for watching and feedback
I, too have got them both & I prefer the white.
Jonathan Spencer cool. Thank you
Owning two Datonas is like dating two super models.
To date one super model means you are a lucky man.
Dating two super models means you are blessed by the gods.
Stay blessed.
Maynard Joseph 😂. Thanks a lot Joseph.
Geez Bear your bank account must be a bottomless pit! The white dial is so amazing 😍
tusmaniandevil not really, but thank you so much for watching and commenting.
Bear Clooney Watches just kidding bear. And you’re welcome! Thank you for taking the time to react to so many comments.
tusmaniandevil people like you who support my channel and my work are very important and dear to me!
Bear Clooney Watches ❤️
I ordered white.. 2.5 years time... I hope... I like white as Rolex make less white pro watches and it compliments my polar. I have black dials on GMTs
Tony Hobbs you are right. Not many options in white dials one pro line.
@@bearclooneywatches4186 even sky Dweller isn't white its cream so I'm looking to get blue sky to compliment blue yacht master
Tony Hobbs cool!
Cleaner more legible dial on the white one, and the red Daytona lettering pops nicely on the white dial too , no question the white is better , put the black one in the bin lol 😂 thanks for the review Bear , nice to see them next to each other 👍👍
SG M 😊 black one is on the wrist right now. 😉. Thank you so much for watching and feedback 🙏
Bear Clooney Watches I would like to add a white dial watch with black bezel to my collection, I love the contrast(so complimentary black&white) so for my budget it’s between the Grand Seiko SBG115 “9F quartz” or the New Omega Seamaster 300M 42mm white dial ,coming out in November - what one do you like Bear??
SG M between those two Omega by far
Bear Clooney Watches thank you for replying, I’m really enjoying ur utube channel & your beautiful watch collection , there all stunning watches & not easy to get too.
SG M thank you. I really appreciate that. I love that white dial Omega that’s coming out in November
I wouldn't throw either of these pieces out of bed, so to speak, I think though I'd take the black one, but having both solves all manner of problems I bet.
ihopetowin I clearly get your point. Thank you for watching and feedback.
I used to be so indecisive, now I’m not so sure
tom byrne 😂😂. Thanks for being here.
white is nice to me
Hvala Mladjane
white for sure
Thank you
@@bearclooneywatches4186 By the way, I definitely agree with you that the white looks smaller. Never noticed that until you mentioned it. Thanks for an excellent review. Subscribed.
@@thirtysixzed thank you very much for subscribing
White dial
White is definitely more photogenic... but black is more versatile and wears better imo.
Geezer yup, I see your point. Thank you
@@bearclooneywatches4186 7:10 - Thanks for going over this point. It gives me shiver when people call the white dial on 116500 a "Panda" dial when it isn't, strictly speaking.
Geezer I hear you man. I feel same about it. Thank you again
White dial all the way 👍🏼
Mr Perpetual 🙏 thank you
A Darth Vader and a Storm Trooper..nice.
Thanks Miguel! Very interesting analysis
Wow
