I brought dominar 400 white in 2017 and almost clocked 50k kms, loaded that bike with tons of accessories it's very beautiful machine, yet reliable and pocket friendly when you see other 400cc bikes....now I upgraded to dominar 400ug model one you rode in this video

Dominar has always been a very good bike.. but like u said it actually is a plan B bike.. it was for me also.. ended up buying yezdi scrambler.. i have driven the bike.. its actually a rly good bike.. i rly think PPL shd stop giving so much bhaav to RE.. coz it's junk..

One keynote to anyone interested in buying dominar 400 coming from a owner:
1. maintenance is expensive coming up to 12k+ in a year ( service interval is once in 4 months or 4500km ) and quality of service is bad. Maintaining a Kawasaki is more economical 😅
2. Seat is not as comfortable as you might feel initially.
3. Front USD forks are really good but rear monoshock is terrible. Even small potholes will travel right through your bum into your spine.

For value is dominar 400 and Duke just a bit more performance than dominar. But there is a massive difference in price and considering the reputation of KTM I will go with dominar 400
