Humble request to you is to let the speaker complete what he or she is saying. Let them say what they want to and then speak. This is such a basic, not saying rudely but please focus on this aspect.

Why do we need one language.? It can never happen in a country like India... Lets appreciate that. Every language has a community behind it. Yes, Hindi is widely spoken but other languages thriving alongside only makes us rich and dense with our diversity. Value the community behind each language over its popularity.

    • @priyank.mishra
      @priyank.mishra 4 месяца назад +4

Diversity is important, but having a common language in India could enhance national unity and facilitate greater cultural exchange. If there were one language spoken across the country, people from different regions, like Manipur and Uttar Pradesh, Kerala and Nagaland, or Kashmir and Tamil Nadu, could work and live in any part of India with ease. This would lead to the sharing of thoughts and culture among us. For instance, someone from Meghalaya could learn about Maharashtra, while someone from Himachal Pradesh could gain insights into Odisha or Bengal.
A common language could also reduce government expenses. Currently, the government spends a significant amount of money on advertisements, news, and information dissemination in multiple languages like Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, and others. With one language, these efforts could be streamlined, saving resources. Additionally, there would be no need to establish schools and institutions in multiple languages, further reducing costs.
Adopting a single national language could address two key issues. First, it could reduce the reliance on English, and second, it could foster stronger connections across different parts of India. This would promote employability, cultural exchanges, and even inter-regional marriages, which are currently hindered by language barriers. For example, a person from Delhi may find it challenging to marry someone from Tamil Nadu due to the lack of a common language. This, in turn, can lead to language-based, region-based, and culture-based politics, ultimately causing divisions.
Indeed, some regions, like Punjab and Tamil Nadu, have expressed a desire for greater autonomy based on language and culture. Statements made by regional politicians during elections reflect this sentiment. For instance, the son of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister has made remarks about North Indians, and a Congress leader from Karnataka has even suggested that the state should be granted freedom if funds are not provided. Such instances demonstrate the potential dangers of language-based divisions.
However, it is also important to respect each other's languages. For example, in Gujarat, Hindi is widely spoken, yet Gujarati continues to thrive. Similarly, the Sindhi language and culture have survived despite not having a state of their own. Punjabi songs are becoming increasingly popular because people are open to learning and understanding other languages.
In conclusion, while diversity is valuable, having a common language could help unite India and prevent the misuse of linguistic differences for political purposes.

Shamani - this is one of the best vlogs from your stable. It is Educative, Informative & Knowledgable.
Only on the issue of Chinese poverty vis a vis its villages one begs to disagree, as one has extensively travelled to the interiors of China. The amount of development and prosperity in the smaller towns and villages vis a vis infrastructure, transportation, availability of daily needs of clothes-food-housing far outstrips India.
The 3 decades of over 10% growth of Chinese economy has had tremendous trickle down effect in its developmental growth.

India should come out of China centric mindset. The sooner the better. The average standard of living ajj ki rate me ghat raha hai. People are working more hours and switching between multiple jobs to live a bare minimum livelihood. In today's Indian economy, a majority of the population cannot rely on one job only to survive a bare minimum lifestyle. It would be better if we focus on that rather than have this pipe dream that "one day we shall overcome China." This is an unhealthy obsession.

    • @rodolfo237
      @rodolfo237 5 месяцев назад

Aside from population, there is no aspect in which India can be compared to China. Indians often fantasize that India is a superpower and absurdly believe that India is better than China. I hope India can wake up from this delusion.

One user comment that China has this reserves and that surplus etc etc. The thing you have to realise is China is not having all these from their start. But now they have these and competing with USA (who is having these from years) so it's just a matter of time. Nobody becomes a billionaire in blink of eyes. It takes time to make thing happen. Their is completely different political situation in China and India. People have different mindsets where in, India people born and learn to protest against injustice first before anything else where as people in China have never experienced a thing called democracy.
This is just a small example and maturity is when you realise this, that It will take time but it will surely happen it is inevitable.
After listening to whole podcast, sir have said the same thing but I thing that guy have just commented whole listening of seeing things from a larger horizon.

    Listen carefully Indians!
China has $3.5 trillion dollars worth of forex reserves. Plus China has $2 trillion dollars worth of loans to BRI countries. On top of that, China has $3 trillion dollars worth of assets globally like mineral rights, ports, start-ups, stocks, sovereign wealth funds etc. Add to that, China recorded $880 billion dollars worth of trade surplus last year alone. While India only got $500 plus billion forex reserves and India wants to counter China? This is not even a David vs. Goliath kinda thing, this is an ant taking on a T-rex 😂

      LOL
      LISTEN hutiye
China is growing and will grow max at 4-5% rate for long time to come
China demographic devident is almost finished
China only target today is to counter or become equal to US
If China has such Huge GDP of 20 trillion and forex of 3 trillion than its Total Debt is also 300% i.e. around 60 trillion which is Gigantic and with lower growth let's see how will they manage the debt with Massive number of failed/Ghost infra Projects which r built on debt
Whereas Indian demographic devident will peak in 2055
Grwoth will remain high in 7-8% for long time to come
Indian debt is quite limited to 60% of GDP only as India doesn't has culutre of household debt or Muncipal debt like china US
Indian forex is 600 Billion which is almost equal to its foreign Debt
So India is a Stable economy and moving at good pace which can counter china .
That's why we r so confidents

Who compiles these lists exactly ? And how can anybody compare countries by any single number ? India had issues no doubt but giving a number on a metric cannot justify the ground reality.

.........This is advantages of Democracy in India now...
Why foreign companies will never invest in India now???
    These are main reasons-
    1) Western slavery democracy in India
    2) Corruptions everywhere in India...
    3) No supply chains and no skilled workers..
    4) No good infrastructure developments in India now...
    5) Ransome money by local gangsters......
    6) One rape case in every 20 minutes in India now according to Google..
    7) 43% Indian leaders are from criminal( Rapists,Murderers, gangsters) backgrounds in India now........

15:40 when you gave an example of Sikkim. You are totally wrong. Indigenous people of Sikkim were always ‘Yakthung’ as known as ‘Limbus’. It’s not what you have read in text book. I stopped listening to this podcast right after I heard misinformation. We know you must be very highly qualified but you cannot speak for everyone. You should know it.

9:45 sorry but historically and factually Dr. Sanjeev is wrong about Jinnah. Shiekh Abdullah might have been a very powerful orator and a good spokes person but he was never a threat or competition of any sort to Jinnah. Jinnah was called Quaid e Azam ( Quaid ) in Urdu means leader and Quaid e Azam means the greater of them all, meaning the greatest leader of the Muslim population of India which was approved in 1936-37 elections as he won 106 seats and majority Muslim population chose Jinnah as a leader and not anyone else. Only Azad and Sikander Hayat Khan probably were the 2 closest contenders, Sheikh Abdullah could have only dreamt of such popularity among Muslims of India at the time. So Dr. Sanjeev you'll have to rethink your rhetoric on them. Only my two pence worth.

India invited Himalayan border trouble by surrendering Tibet to China in 1954 and in 2003/4.
India's blunder given advantage to China on certain areas such as Tawang and West Kemeng dist. These areas were part of Tibet but given to India in 1914 Shimla Agreement signed between Tibet and India. But India while claiming these areas by naming it McMohan line but never fulfilled it's obligation. It went behind the back of Tibet and secretly signed as treaty with China on Tibet. As per the 1914 Shimla Agreement India is supposed to recognized the Sino-Tibetan border aka independence of Tibet. Tibetan upon learning British India's deception Tibetan never ceded the Tawang and West Kemeng until 1959. British India could say a word of protest.
Soon after Chinese complete occupation Tibet India sent Army to occupy Tawang and West Kemeng.
Since India not only recognized Tibet as part of China but helped Chinese starving PLA by smuggling rice and other food commodities in diplomatic bag in in early 1950s while refusing to sell even one bullet to Tibet.
China is claiming the Tawang and West Kemeng not whole of Arunachal. The whole saga of trouble in Chinese claim on Tawang is based on the blunder India mm are in 1954 and 2004.
By legitimizing Chinese sovereignty over Tibet, India is a making 1914 Shimla Agreement invalid or illegal. No wonder China is issuing stapled visa to Indians from Arunachal.

Indian annexed Sikkim and Indian occupied large part of territory originally belong to Tibet. The Chinese government never recognize this. Indian should feel grateful to your former master British on these, otherwise, Indian probably still live in numerous primitive tribes and a much smaller territory than it has today

Did he say China's rural poverty is more than India's.. Reality is China has 0.39% of rural poverty whereas India has 7.2℅..kaha se aate hain so called intellects.. I have been to China's rurals in south-west and Northernmost regions.. Yes, there is a disparity interms of development and income level between these two regions but barely you would find any poor there unlike in India where you see them high in numbers once you step outside your house
