    You should’ve put the fuse holder within 12” of positive battery terminal. It’s doing nothing being in trunk. If it happens to get grounded out between your trunk and battery you could have a possible fire

      Thanks a bunch!! I’m glad It could help. I’ve done this for several cars with rear mounted speakers and figured it wouldn’t hurt to share what I’ve learned. There’s always an easier way to do things. 😉

    You ran the wire through the door jam?!?!?! 😢 and the fuse should be close to the battery.

      There’s another fuse close to the battery. The one in the trunk is more to reduce the gage of the wire. I just didn’t have anything else to do it with at that time.

    Hi, thanks for the video. Do you have a list of what sub and supplies you used?

    • @abrahammen2a677

      Thats a great question! I’ll add it to the videos description here shortly.

    Is there any popping noise coming from the sub after turning off the radio/car

    • @abrahammen2a677
      @abrahammen2a677  Год назад

      Nope. There is no popping or humming or anything like that.

    How does that work if it’s not connected to the stereo ?

      The line output converter takes the place of your stereo. You tap In to the rear speakers to get the audio. And get power from battery. And the converter also has a remote wire to turn the amp on and off.

    Too be safe . I don't think that's a good place for that wire coming from the battery . you should keep it on the inside .

      Thanks. I’ll def keep that in mind.

      BS. That's a very good place for it. There's plenty of gaskets along the way on both sides. I've done the same and never had any trouble.

    Where did you access the remote from?

    • @abrahammen2a677
      @abrahammen2a677  Год назад +1

      Good question. The line output converter actually comes With a remote wire that goes directly to the remote on the sub or the amp. Not all line output converters have it though so you just need to be sure to get one that comes with the remote.

      @@abrahammen2a677 yeah, but what triggers the line converter to send a remote signal to amp? Is it listening for you shutting the doors or what?

    • @abrahammen2a677
      @abrahammen2a677  Год назад +1

      @@pasiutrial since the line converter is connected to the speakers it’s turns on when you turn in your car just like the stereo does. When I turn off my car the amp shuts off. But if I push the start button and radio turns on, so does the amp.

    En dónde conectaste el remoto del amplificador?

    • @abrahammen2a677
      @abrahammen2a677  5 месяцев назад

      El remoto sale de el line output converter. Tienes que asegurarte de comprar uno que tenga remoto. No todos lo tienen. Pero si te fijas en el video se mira el cable azul saliendo de el converter.

    where tf the remote get power from

    • @abrahammen2a677
      @abrahammen2a677  9 месяцев назад

      The line output converter actually has a remote built in. Not all of them do though, so you need to make sure you get one that includes the remote. It is very convenient.
