I've been using the Originals hair mayonnaise for almost a year now and I absolutely love it. I always add some honey, olive oil, and other essential oils to it as well
I used ORS for yrs, then bought the Africa's Best once when my pockets told me to lol. I thought it was just me being cheap was the reason that I thought my hair responded better to Africa's Best. 👍🏾
I haven't used the ORS.. but yes I used the rest of my African Best yesterday for the first time since I been natural...and this is the first time I actually had curl definition since I been natural... I will be buying a new container.
I use africas best for my twist outs, I don't rinse it out of my hair. I also add aloe Vera gel as well. My hair has been so moisturized and I just love it.
I tried Africa best mayonnaise it do not work for my hair it depends on the texture of the hair but I like ORS products better thanks for comparison video.
I used to use ORS years ago and it did wonders and then for some reason... it seemed like the formula changed and after that... it was as effective. Now Im on Africa's Best.
I tried the Originals ABHM and I remember not liking how my hair felt after rinsing it out. But I tried it during a time where I was still learning about my natural hair and I was not knowledgeable about how protein treatments work. I followed it up with a non-moisturizing conditioner so it didn't go so well. I wouldn't mind resisting Originals ABHM now that I have a good handle on my hair. Anyhow, thank you for comparing the two!
Girl I just had that problem too, it dried my hair, my twist were frizzy. Thanks to this I know I have to use moisturizing conditioner after, coz the leave-in wasn't doing for my hair.
Thanks for doing this video. Looking for something for my dry hair,(due to weather) and Google suggested this, and your video was suggested. Never heard of these products before excited to try it.
Okay so I watched this video back when you put it out and here I am again. You are the first person I think of when using products that we all used to use back in the day. Suave and V05 for example. So I finally did it. I used Africa’s Best today, left it on for 1 hr total 30min with a shower cap while cleaning around the house then used a steamer after. I believe it was ALove4Me who recommended a steamer with a protein tx, so I decided to give it a try. I was impressed! It was sooooo moisturizing. It didn’t even feel like I washed the product out after! Followed up with the LCO method. *sidenote: I also picked up Queen Helene’s cholesterol tx because how much you rave about it. Will try her out after finishing up with Africa’s Best. Thanks again for this review!
Ors is the best for me. I use Africa's best as a daily protein. I don't rinse it out. It's not strong enough for my hair. It helps a bit tho. When I don't feel like. Going through the deep protein of ORS.
Girl all that hair how would I know where this olive oil mayonnaise actually taking it from? And upto date? I used to use this with castor oil mix, it's awsome.
Just deep condition your hair with it. No need to add 10 extra steps and DIYs. It says right on the container "Place a plastic cap over the entire head, process under a warm dryer, heat cap, or warm towel for approximately 15 minutes.4. If heat is not available, cover the head with a plastic cap and let set for 45 minutes - 1 hour. 5. Rinse hair with warm water and proceed with styling"
annettemint ok. See I’m suffering from style manipulation in the front of my hair. I’ve tried regular protein treatments, but they aren’t restoring my curls. Short of cutting it, I don’t know what else to do other than the aphogee 😩Your hair reminds me of my own, so I figured I ask. Thank you.
cellyjohnson I have on how I use the green beauty channel’s protein treatment. It’s the truth!! My recommendation would be to switch to hydrolyzed wheat protein. Have you tried that?
annettemint I don’t believe so. I’ve used the Hi Propac line and the Palmer’s coconut line of protein treatment. I’ll look into hydrolyzed wheat though before doing the aphogee or possibly cutting.
I have used the aphogee on my natural hair when I was having breakage & it helped so much but I think it’s a product that helps more with breakage than restoring curls
That ORS hair Mayonnaise was made by Jesus himself 😭😭
😂🤣😂😂🤣😂LOL
😀😀😀😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 what do you mean lol
😂😂😂😂😂
I went to buy mine today because of this comment 😂😂😂😂😂😂

I'm falling in love about these products!❤🥰😮
I use africas best for my twist outs, I don't rinse it out of my hair. I also add aloe Vera gel as well. My hair has been so moisturized and I just love it.
what is your hair type, if you don’t mind me asking?
I may try this! Thanks for sharing.

When you had the glasses and curls in the end you looked like Oprah Winfrey 🙂

Africa's Best Is my favorite much thicker and cheaper❤❤❤❤❤
I absolutely love the ORS!
Omg. That thickness ... 🥰

I use both. Right now I’m using originals Africas best deep conditioner.
I had no idea green top was Africa's Best and I've been using it for decades lol. Always spot, snatch, and go.

Pp
Thank you. Your hair is beautiful
What deep conditioner did you use after?
I'm using Africa's Best Organics Hair Mayonnaise right now. I'm hoping for amazing results.
how has it turned out?
Thanks for the comparison vid! 💖💖💖
I have used both plenty of times and the AFrica’s best works better for me
I buy the ors one, never brought the Africa best one. I am relaxed though.
Ors is the best for me. I use Africa's best as a daily protein. I don't rinse it out.
It's not strong enough for my hair. It helps a bit tho. When I don't feel like. Going through the deep protein of ORS.
How come you dont rinse it sis, what do you do then
What's your hair porosity? And do u have fine hair?
As a girl with over bleached thick native curls Africa’s best just lets me be great and its easy on my pockets😫
My hair LOVES ORS hair mayonnaise. Africa's best did nothing for my hair
Oh just brought Africa best mayonnaise yesterday so glad it came out on tops! Let's hope it works for me tomorrow! lol
Hope it works out honey!!!
Should I apply hair mayonaise from the roots of my hair?
Yes you can if you want your hair to grow
How does that hair need more protein?
Did your mayonnaise come with a seal when you bought it? Mine didn't and I'm concerned but not sure if I should be
my ORS doesn't come with but was tightly closed
My ors didn’t come with a seal either🤷🏿♀️
Is it not a deep conditioner? Why do I use. A deep conditioner after? What should I use after I put this in my hair
I see people use it as a deep conditioner then a moisturizing conditioner follows after
Because the mayonnaise can case a little dryness and stiffness with some people hair so they adds conditioner or moisturiser to soften it up
A protein treatment then use a deep conditioner afterwards
When did the hair mayonnaise first come out ?
Girl all that hair how would I know where this olive oil mayonnaise actually taking it from? And upto date? I used to use this with castor oil mix, it's awsome.
Cute af!
I use both 😊
Headed to buy Africa best
How do you use ORS as a base for your deep conditioner?
Just deep condition your hair with it. No need to add 10 extra steps and DIYs. It says right on the container "Place a plastic cap over the entire head, process under a warm dryer, heat cap, or warm towel for approximately 15 minutes.4. Great Video❤️ Beautiful hair💜
Have you ever done the aphogee two step treatment to restore your curls? If so, what do you think? Thanks
cellyjohnson I don’t think I would use that while natural. I typically use a hair mayo along with liquid hydrolyzed wheat protein.

Can you review on the originals vs vitale
Do u wash ur hair with any relaxer before using mayonnaise or is it for natural hair
It is any hair type
Made??
Does it smell like mayo ?
No
Not at all,it has the consistency of mayonnaise with a little bit more slip like butter, it's AMAZING
It doesn’t stink to me lol
Moderno
Did the African pride leave your hair brittle when you washed it out without adding other product?
