That was what Chevrolet used to college replacement motors. Targetmaster 350 in.³ replacement engine. Lotta people ended up calling them “target motors“.
It was actually a selling point because most folks at the time considered those factory crate motors to be more reliable than what went into the vehicles from the factory. Doesn’t seem logical, but people aren’t typically all that logical.
My fist truck was a 81 Silverado long box single cab 4x4. My girl friend refused to snuggle up beside me on the bench seat. That only last about 2 days until she gave in and became arm candy. She fucking loved every minute of it it!!!!

LOL my fav last of the square body's. You may be my long lost brother :0 I just found a 1989 4x4 gmc square body 1 ton ,manual with 454 and a fiberglass tool box bed and its blue. An old forestry truck with only 52kmiles on it. I put a snow plow on it and at under 100 miles a year snow plowing i plan to use it the rest of my life. Mine has a Mack truck bulldog on the hood from previous owner so its name is "BULLY" BLUE vs PAPA SMERF. I like you more now that pile of turds dodge is gone :0
That Dodge was a major turd! Nice find on Bully Blue. I would love a snow plow rig like that at the Circle Bar Ranch. Papa Smurf will be the Sasquatch Ranch ride for now. You need a 'I Love Pizza hat before officially being my long-lost brother.

How much you get for dodge? Sad thing is you could run used motor oil for fuel in you old dodge. I use to own gas job Chevys. I upgraded to 12v Cummins . I think your going backwards lol
