Hi, if you are worried that your armrests are in the way when you are playing the guitar, you can easily detach them by removing the M8 screws holding them in place. However, we advise against doing so as the armrests play a crucial role in supporting your wrists and elbows, which in turn helps take the strain off your neck and shoulders. Our full-metal 4D armrests are fully adjustable in four different directions: 1. Up/down 2. Front/back 3. Sideways 4. Diagonally We recommend that you try adjusting them to a position that best suits your preference and needs first. You can also check out their exact dimensions right here: secretlab.co/pages/resources We hope this helps!
I have a problem where the tilt is stuck at max because when I was testing it, it made a soft click and then It got stuck in that position. If you could give me information on how to fix it I would appriciate it. Also more information about the problem is that the locking mechanism, I have the titan and the mechanism on the left side you need to press it up to lock and down to unlock but when I press it up there is no click but when I press it down there is a click.
I could not see how to adjust the depth of the chair - ie. adapt to different thigh lengths (this is a very common adjustment on mid-highend office chairs).
I wish the armrests on the Titan were a little softer. I have a habit of resting my elbow on the left one and it pinches my funnybone nerve lol. I might remove it and keep the right one on. Other than that, great chair!
Lel This video came 6months after I got mine. Only just realised what the knob of the left was for after having it for ages. Needed to give it a bit of a nudge for it to do what it says in a video. Year and a half later and I'm still learning about my chair hahaha. Never been into buying gimmicky gamer shit. But this chair, ooofe, I'm one happy chappy.
2020 Titan owner for 4 months now. Only complaint so far was the tilt seat mechanism set the first time and I couldn't adjust it since. Just took a quick look at this vid and fixed it tho. I do wish the armrests had a angle adjustment for when I tilt the front of the bucket up but that's pretty minor.
@@switchunboxing it's pretty good. Only thing I might add is a sheepskin cover to it for additional comfort plus sweat/oil control. The material is very absorbent to body moisture, so there's stains even though I try very hard to not touch the chair with bare skin.
Woods They have the fake leather thing which isn’t breathable and gets hot and sticky, and they have the softweave which is a fabric like clothing which breathes easier and doesn’t get as hot but I’ve heard it can collect stains but usually that’s only if you spill something from what I hear
I have had my Titan for a week now and I have never had such bad back pain in my life. Really sad as I never had this problem with my DxRacer that lasted me 5 years. Hoping the chair breaks in, not sure I can keep the chair if this persists as it is starting to cause sleep problems at this point.

Love my Titan, but the height adjustment doesn't seem to be working. It's at a good height, and i could go without the feature, but it kind of irks me.
So... I have a question about the Titan XL. I play flight sims and space sims, and I use a sidestick flight control and a throttle connected to mounts that hang down from my desk. They're mounted fairly low, so that I can fully relax my shoulder and upper arm while I have the stick in neutral position, as is proper ergonomics for such controllers. I like the look and features of this chair, and I've seen good reviews of its quality, but I am concerned the arm rests will get in the way, because it doesn't look like they lower quite far enough. I had to remove the arm rests from my current chair for that reason. Can the arm rests be removed from this chair? I don't mind if I have to unbolt them or something, as long as it can be done without damaging the chair.
Hey there, the armrests are pre-attached to the chair, but you can easily detach them by removing the M8 screws holding them in place. However, we advise against doing so as the armrests play a crucial role in supporting your wrists and elbows, which in turn helps take the strain off your neck and shoulders. @@Secretlabchairs I'd definitely prefer to leave them on if that is possible, but on my last chair (which also had four-way adjustable armrests) they didn't have enough range of motion to be out of the way in a fully-neutral sidestick position. So I definitely didn't want to buy a new chair until I was sure I had the option of removing them just in case (it would be pretty unfortunate to buy a chair and then find out I can't use it, after all).

I'm looking into getting a replacement for my chair that's breaking down and thinking about the Titan... I have a question though, I record guitar behind my pc and getting the arm rests out of the way is a nightmare and causes me back pain when recording for too long. Will this be an issue with the Titan as well? Or is it possible to move the armrests back a good bit or even easily remove them temporarily?

I have the issue that I can turn my lever (which became loose) a full 360 degrees without it doing anything. You can try to push the lever into the mechanism when it's in the right position, that's what helps me temporarily.

The text directions in the video for the rocking tension is wrong. It says "to loosen, turn the knob clockwise" while the guy in the video is turning it anti-clockwise. Oof.
@@GroteGlon only the right way if you ignore half of the text directions. When the text says "to loosen, turn the knob clockwise", he is turning it anti-clockwise. Which is correct if you look at only "to loosen", and is incorrect if you look at the second half of the sentence.
I've just bought a Titan 2020 series and can anyone clarify as to how many positions the chair can recline to? The video states at 0:15 you must feel the lever lock back in place but my chair only does that at 3 angles. Meaning at any other angle the lever semi locks and shifts when you lean back until it keeps clicking and locks in place when you're at one of those 3 angles. Is my chair faulty or is that the intended design? Asking coz my back will start to hurt at the upright 90 degree as it feels a little too forward and I can't adjust it a minor few degrees back. Other than that it's an awesome chair with great comfort and functionality!
Don't be dumb like me, folks, I almost broke my backrest recline lever. On some models (including the one I had) there was a screw (painted red and has a sticker by it and everything) I forgot to remove that keeps the lever in place, so I was just bending it.
HAHAHA - OMG - that's was me too. I'm pulling on it, and there is a lot of resistance, but nothing is happening. Let me put my glasses on and read the text in this red area. OOOHHH, I need to remove the screw first with that magnetic Philips tool they gave me, that I've not used on anything else. D'oh!

Can i adjust the armrest to fullest till its
Not in the way of me playing guitar?
Hi, if you are worried that your armrests are in the way when you are playing the guitar, you can easily detach them by removing the M8 screws holding them in place. However, we advise against doing so as the armrests play a crucial role in supporting your wrists and elbows, which in turn helps take the strain off your neck and shoulders.
Our full-metal 4D armrests are fully adjustable in four different directions:
1. Up/down
2. Front/back
3. Sideways
4. Diagonally
We recommend that you try adjusting them to a position that best suits your preference and needs first.
I loved that chair.
What chair do you sit in now? :D
I wish the armrests on the Titan were a little softer. I have a habit of resting my elbow on the left one and it pinches my funnybone nerve lol. I might remove it and keep the right one on. Other than that, great chair!

This video came 6months after I got mine.
About the knob, i was convinced mine was broken lmao, it wouldn't nudge at all, i had to brace the chair and twist like hell with my other hand.

They have these foldable square fake leather stool thing I use. Works great Amazon has them cheap, though I got mine at ghetto Big Lots

About a week after warranty, my tension gave out. it doesnt hold me up at all anymore :(
my problem is when i'm playing a game, the chair starts to turn from side to side when playing a shooter game where i move my arm alot.
I have had my Titan for a week now and I have never had such bad back pain in my life. Really sad as I never had this problem with my DxRacer that lasted me 5 years. Hoping the chair breaks in, not sure I can keep the chair if this persists as it is starting to cause sleep problems at this point.

Yeah chairs are not really one size fits all. You definitely don't need a chair if it's making your back hurt. Especially when does expensive. How did things end up going with that?
@@switchunboxing stupid youtube never notified me that Secretlabs had commented on my post -_- just went back and double checked my notifications and nothing. Chair still kills me, giving it to my wife and I am just going to order a DxRacer again.

@@Secretlabchairs I'd definitely prefer to leave them on if that is possible, but on my last chair (which also had four-way adjustable armrests) they didn't have enough range of motion to be out of the way in a fully-neutral sidestick position. So I definitely didn't want to buy a new chair until I was sure I had the option of removing them just in case (it would be pretty unfortunate to buy a chair and then find out I can't use it, after all).

how to lock chair from spinning left right?
I'm looking into getting a replacement for my chair that's breaking down and thinking about the Titan...

I dont know if it just me but the smell of head pillow is bothering me 😅
I've just bought a Titan 2020 series and can anyone clarify as to how many positions the chair can recline to?
On some models (including the one I had) there was a screw (painted red and has a sticker by it and everything) I forgot to remove that keeps the lever in place, so I was just bending it.
thanks, was having the same issue :)
D'oh!
Y’all don’t read the assembly instructions and it shows
